Since the addition of our two little dudes many of our road trips have started to center not on the…read morefinal destination but rather on where we can stop and route to said destination. Children's Museums have become popular stopping point and we were very excited to find out that there was one in Klamath Falls. While this place isn't much to look at on the outside, inside are some great exhibuts, an area for young kiddos and plenty of stuff to stimulate curiosity while also burning off some energy! The place is located in an older part of town in what we found out was an old Dental Building. The place was donated about 15 years ago and they've been making continual improvements to it ever since. Upon walking in you're greeted by one of the employees at the counter. It was $5 per person to get in and that included access to everything that was available there. As well as tea and coffee Upstairs! The membership price was something like $10 per month for a family membership and $100 per month for a corporate membership. If we lived here this would be a go-to place! Downstairs just across from the entrance is an area for toddlers with a couple couches for moms needing to rest with little ones. Upstairs there are a ton of great exhibits for kids ages 2+. The exhibits included a decomissioned airplane that had been donated by a local gentleman, a great wooden fire truck that the kids could climb on that had working lights and sirens, a play town with rooms dedicated to a grocery store, a doctor's office, a hair salon at a dentist office. These were all a lot of fun and had phones that worked to call the other rooms - big news for 2 and 4 year olds! One of the more unique things they had here was a shadow room, with a phosphorescent wall that the kids could pose in front of and then the shadow was captured on it. One of the more creative things we've seen at a children's museum and it made for a very good time for everyone involved! Our favorite thing here though was the wall with the magnetic ramps and blower. All the pieces were set up to complete a circuit that then allowed a ping pong ball to go from one end to the other. Most of these that we've seen other places involve clear pipes and puff balls, but this one actually allowed the kids to change out pieces. It was pretty simple and really, really cool. The places mentioned we're definitely the highlights, and there were plenty of other areas 2 explore including one with model trains and another with a bunch of musical instruments. The folks here have done a pretty amazing job of setting up a really neat children's museum in a pretty small space. The space is utilized really well, and the folks that work here were very nice, interactive and helpful to all the kids. This is definitely a place that should be utilized by folks in town and anyone passing through!

I reached out to Todd Brown at Fall River Real Estate and he agreed to take a shot at selling it. The lot wasn't even in his area but 80 miles away in Cottonwood.Todd saw the property finally sell while the local juggernaut agency in Redding could not get the job done. To them my lot wasn't worth their time. Todd was super responsive and knowledgeable. Every action that he needed to execute was done extremely efficiently. We were responsive but not nearly as quick as Todd. I felt guilty for the time he would call after hours or on a weekend. I swear the guy is always conducting business even if on a family trip. Thanks Todd, you are appreciated.

He very well knows the history, geography, neighborhoods and he even knows almost every family that lives or lived in most of the houses as you drive around with him. He knows a ton about remodeling and has great vision that he gladly shares the experiences he has amassed during his life to help his clients. The most impressive thing about Todd is his activity and engagement with the word he loves to use the most, "community". Todd is all about this community and it shows and it lends to the fact that the area's Todd services are truly that impressive. What a beautiful national park!…read more Came here on a day where the weather changed between partly cloudy/sunny and snowy/rainy. The snowy surroundings created a nice contrast against the very deep blue color of the lake. In the early morning, it was very peaceful. There were not many people around, likely because of weather. The Steel Visitor Center's film was excellent to get a sense of the geology and history of the park. The lodge also offered an excellent meal with a partial view of the lake. Because of the snow, we were not able to go on the Rim Drive or hike the trails. I would imagine all the views would have been beautiful. The Cleetwood Cove trail down to the lake is closed for 3 summers, through 2028. If weather is of any question, the NPS website has up-to-date information about the weather, including webcams of several spots in the park.

Surprisingly not busy for memorial day weekend although we started early on a sunday morning and a lot of the park was still closed for the season, there was snow! My 3 year old was very pleased. We purchased the annual national park pass at the front gate, sad to hear that the national park staff keeps being reduced and scary to know that there's only *one* emergency ranger on staff currently so please follow the rules folks! Lot's of cute shops for goodies and campgrounds along the way. We stayed an hour away but the drive felt fast and scenic. A nice breath of fresh air. The large parking lot seemed to fill up fast to see the lake, but super close so very accessible. A few hikes were open but honestly just sitting and admiring the lake does the trick. Would love to come back and visit when more of the park is open!
