Although the reviews were split, she chose them because they were nearby and accepted walk-ins. I decided to join her in getting one as well. They were surprisingly busy on an early Wednesday afternoon, but it didn't take long for a technician to get us situated. My daughter chose a nice light pink color while I just wanted a simple clear coat. My technician did an overall ok job in grooming my cuticles, but she could not seem to understand when I repeatedly requested to file my nails round. She continued to make them square and seemed annoyed when I would ask to correct the shape. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so I just left it alone and fixed them myself when we got back to the hotel. The included massages were pointless. They felt like a light applying of lotion. My daughter was lucky to have an excellent technician who took his time. Her cuticles were meticulously groomed with her nails filed and polished perfectly. He paused a few times to ask her if what he was doing was ok. She said he did a nice job with the massages. She was very happy. Although not fully satisfied with everything, I still tipped 20% since they were able to accommodate us, but we won't be back. read more

I am always a little cautious when trying a new nail place. I've had some bad experiences which have left me a bit traumatized but luckily I'm happy to say I'd return to Klassiq Nail Bar! They are efficient and do a good job. The interior is clean and welcoming. My friend and I had a gel manicure appointment and they seated us within 5 minutes of our appointment time. The lady that did my nails honestly had her work cut out for her since my chipped and torn nails had seen better days (home renovations do a number on your hands!) She made my nails look great. The only thing that puts them at a 4 instead of a 5 star review is that they didn't ask us what shape we wanted our nails and started working on them. This is my go to place for nails! I have always had a good experience but this last time wasn't too pleasant. The person asked me what I wanted then translated to the nail tech what I would like to have done. She didn't ask how short I wanted my nails, clipped them and started to file them. She cut them so short that when she was filing them, she was filing my skin. It felt like a rug burn. I pulled my hand back and that's when she noticed how short she made them. Told her to leave them alone and please do my polish. She really wasn't paying attention to what she was doing. I have never had any issues with any other techs that are there. read more

Absolutely the worst manicure I have ever had in my life. I got a French manicure with the dip powder. Do not waste your money here. My nails were super thick, wavy, and just look like a 10-year-old did them at home. I don't know his name but a guy started my manicure - had to have another girl finish it he was so bad. Even after all of that they charged me full price for this crappy manicure. So 2.5 hours later for a pedicure and acrylics removed, I was told I was all done with gobs of softened acrylic on my nail beds. After requesting nails at least be smoothed and maybe a top clear coat for strengthening I got my nails ran over a few times w a buffer block. Owner could have cared less, said drill marks not his problem and no strengther..... would have expected a whole lot more for $75!!! Well.. to start. We went in for my little sister's birthday to get all of our nails and toes done, something simple. We all just got gel polish on our natural nails and we came out paying almost 300!! For what ? I will NEVER go back here again. They've done this before, trying to add fees to the price when time to pay. I've had better nails for cheaper. My friend was still waiting for her pedicure to be finished when mine were completed 15 min before her's and her's looked so bad someone else had to come in and start over. Not a good company to work for been with them almost a year and since my son had been out the hospital and they had new hires they didn't treat the older workers like they used to. It's like they didn't care anymore which it is a slower time of the year I get it but I didn't work on my DAY OFF I had one appointment but then said I was going home after because it was my day off. I work every other weekends so I can be with my kid and not work his life away well I had worked last weekend and was having to work on Christmas eve so on the 17th I had one appointment then said I was going home bc it was my day off then they got mad at me and told me I didn't have to come in next week either so I said okay. I'm sorry but I have been here for almost a year in march and that was just uncalled for I have sat there many days from 9:30am to 7pm and not been busy and just sitting there and you don't get paid to just sit there. Cut my finger. Nail tech name is La. First time I came here La did a great job. I am VERY NERVOUS with my hands and feet cuticles because of past experiences with nail techs trimming cuticles & making me BLEED. I requested La for the reason of her not cutting me the first time. This is my 2nd time comin back and she was almost done on my right hand finger. I didn't even notice she had cut me until she began to do my French tips and there was blood she did not apologize or offer any type of anti-septic treatment. She had requested payment before finishing and like a dummy I did not notice it until after I had paid. I will not be coming back here. Ladies, beware of this place because when they get to trimming your cuticles just pay CLOSE attention. Pay AFTER your service is done to your satisfaction. I paid before she was done & she said you don't want to mess up your nails reaching in your purse. I should have gotten a discount or done for free or something. I just had a basic manicure with French tips no fake nails & now I am in pain and worried that I might get an infection. I have yet to find a nail salon that is professional with not cutting me while doing my cuticles. I think I will not be having my cuticles done Ever if I do go to any other nail salon because I have always gotten cut. Had La not cut me this time, I'd given a great review. I want to be fair here...the shop is very clean, the equipment and chairs look new and are comfy; they use plastic bags to hold the water in the pedicure tubs. Walk-ins are OK. Nobody in the shop, evidently, speaks any English. We had an awful time finding the right color as the wall shelf didn't have anything near the mauve color I wanted. The lady did offer color samples but nothing was close until I showed her on a chart - even though my nails still had my color on them. She gave me a nice pedi, but I had to tell her several times that I didn't want any color on my toes, just a basic pedi. I said I wanted rounded fingernails several times, but came away with some round, some flat, and three with dimples on them. Halfway thru painting my fingernails she began to hurry. I also wanted nail art, but after asking four times and getting no answer from any employee, I asked the other lady customers in the shop who laughed and said yes, they thought the shop did art. But by then my nails were done and it was too late. Still, none of the employees reacted to my question. It's a shame - this is a lovely shop and convenient. But they have to be able to communicate on some level with a mainly English speaking clientele! They charged me $75 to take polish off my toes, trim nails, cuticles, and hot towels, plus gel polish on fingernails with prep. About $15 cheaper than I've been able to get full gel on toes & fingers plus full massage & service elsewhere. I think they could really be a great shop with just a few changes. I'd like to be able to convey what I want and be understood without a bunch of misunderstandings and hand gesturing, lol. read more

I had an amazing experience here!!!. Both the people and the atmosphere was beautiful. I came in with a hurt nail and not only were they able to fix it, they made sure not to hurt me even more. That is gold to me when I get my nails done. A huge wide range of colors and types of nail polishes to choose from. I really am so happy to have found this amazing nail shop. I was very disappointed in my experience at this salon. I came in for a gel manicure because I was leaving to go on a trip. Normally I do my own gel, but I ran out of time and it's quicker for someone else to do them. A couple girls from work recommended this place to me so I thought I'd give it a go! Quickly reminded why I just do my own. I walk in, and of course I'm rudely asked to pick a color and was told by the (I think) owner that someone would be right with me. A girl from the back walks out and sits me down at a station and begins my gel manicure. 15 mins goes by and her next appointment walks in. So the owner tells her to stop my manicure to tend to her new appointment, which is fine and totally reasonable because she had an appointment scheduled and I did not. Now the owner steps in to complete my manicure. This frustrated me because, A) it was gone about was a little rude and B) just put me with someone who can complete my manicure start to finish. Most people don't want multiple artists working on their nails, at least I don't. There were plenty other nail artists who were hanging around the salon who could have easily done mine. After the switch up of nail artists happens, I tried to cool down and have a little faith. No. There was no communication between the 2 artists so the owner guy is just going about my manicure blindly and doesn't even ask what I want done or doesn't care to inquire about what the other artist has done in order to make my hands "even" for lack of a better word. I clue him in the best I can. It was like he wanted to get done with the manicure ASAP and was taking every short cut he possibly could, so My cuticles were left untouched. Big mistake doing gel polish! He begins to paint the gel on carelessly. Anyone knows that if you get gel polish on your cuticles or skin it won't stick and your gel will lift prematurely resulting in a manicure what doesn't last. That happened! And here I am, 1 and a half week later with terrible gel nails that keep catching on everything. To top it all off, I was charged full price for my manicure. Maybe I just got a bad artist and my experience would have been different with someone else? Idk. The only reason why I'm not giving this place 1 star is because the ambiance is nice. We have been to this salon a couple of times. The first time was great!!! The shop is beautiful and very relaxing. The second time we went my husband and I went for manicures and pedicures. We had appointments and they took us on time. My husband was pleased with his manicures and pedicures. He really liked the foot massage. I was not as pleased. I had the owner who I felt was a little rude. During my pedicure a group of about ten people walked in for manicures and pedicures. The owner was so fixated on doing their nails that she literally just rushed through mine. When it came to the manicure she didn't ask me anything. She just went about cutting my nails too short and totally rushed everything. I was really disappointed. The whole manicure and pedicure took approximately 40 minutes from start to finish. I was unhappy with how we were rushed because she was more worried about the group of ten that had come in. read more

I've been going to this salon and had nothing but good things to say about them until tonight. When I arrived with my husband I expressed our services that were needed and I was told it would be a 30 minute wait. No problem, until that 30 minute wait turned into over 90 minutes. They started on my husband and got him in and out but I was still waiting for service. When I was addressed the manager,LA, moved me to a table where I sat for another 30 minutes verses going to start my pedicure which they started on the client who came in after me. This was strike 2. After waiting for 2 hours to begin my service I'm then told the color I chose they didn't have anymore and to choose another. I did not and told them to find something similar. When they began painting my toes I informed the young lady that this was not the same color. I was informed that it was and that it would just take 3 coats, my response was I don't care how many coats you put on there it will not turn dark enough. Another employee came over and agreed with me that this was not the correct color and found it for her. When my service was over I asked the manager how much was she paying me for wasting 2 hours of my life and falsely saying a 30 minute wait that turned into 2 hours. She explained to me that she was short staffed and I explained to her that this is not my fault and if told the truth I could have just come a different day. I told her the determining factor of whether I returned again would be how much she paid me back for my time. Let's just say I'm looking for another nail salon. read more
