I arrived at 10:00 a.m., the exact opening time listed online, door, & brochure, only to be scolded rudely- in front of another client- by Francis, manager, that my appointment was at 9:45. He went so far as to say that had I been 1 minute later, he would have left. I had even attempted calling earlier to confirm. After years of coming here, that level of disrespect was unacceptable. To make matters worse, he was seeing a walk-in client when my pedicure was completed. So I waited... And waited. Also, many of the talented staff, including Mary and John, have already left. Sadly, the quality of both care and customer service has gone downhill. I stayed for my appointment this time, due to my schedule--but this will be my LAST visit. I wanted to take my nails off because the guy I went to previously told me I needed a new set. Plus, I wanted my nails longer anyway and previously my nails were short French nails. She tried to take my nails off with another fake nail and when she pulled the acrylic off, it pulled some of my skin off on the side with it which made it start to bleed. My skin stayed intact but it definitely wasn't the most comfortable thing to go through. In the end, I didn't like the result. The white was too thick. It's literally half of my nails. I showed her a picture of what I wanted. The shape is still a bulky coffin and the white was laid on too thick. I won't come back. My technician did an overall ok job in grooming my cuticles, but she could not seem to understand when I repeatedly requested to file my nails round. She continued to make them square and seemed annoyed when I would ask to correct the shape. I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, so I just left it alone and fixed them myself when we got back to the hotel. The included massages were pointless. They felt like a light applying of lotion. My daughter was lucky to have an excellent technician who took his time. Her cuticles were meticulously groomed with her nails filed and polished perfectly. He paused a few times to ask her if what he was doing was ok. She said he did a nice job with the massages. She was very happy. Although not fully satisfied with everything, I still tipped 20% since they were able to accommodate us, but we won't be back.
