French toast and bacon, blueberry and basil mimosa

New dinner service with live music. Check it out. Food was amazing. Make reservations cause once everyone hears about this place it's going to get popular. Great atmosphere and unique menu.

Small market selection

I'm not sure when the last time I came in here was but before, it was mostly a mini market with a small food selection area & now it's opposite. They're menu is pretty big, front & back with yummy selections, they have a little area for fresh produce/drinks/ small grocery items and a pretty decent sized seating area now! The food was super yummy, we had the strawberry bruschetta that had brie cheese and a little chocolate on top, and the southwest scramble on a thick piece of sourdough, both of them were super delicious!! :) Service was awesome too, a little bit of the wait for our food but that's totally okay because they give you a heads up that it'll take some time to make, as everything is freshly made! Love the new change!

Homemade Soup, Delish!!

Discovered this restaurant when searching for "Best restaurants in Ripon"... and they did not disappoint!... great service, ambiance and food! Homemade vegetable curry soup, slice of their sourdough and nice soft butter... I told chef was one of best soups I've ever had! Yummy! I will definitely be back!:))

the best caesar salad nobody will ever get to try!

I've only had this place once and it was really good. It's a shame they no longer exist. :/ I wanted to try the breakfast/brunch. I don't really care for a tap house. When I ate here, the workers were nice and I believed that the owners prepared my salad. It was so good. I loved the bread. The tomato aioli on the sandwich in my photo was good, but I don't remember the name of it. Unfortunately, none of it matters because this place is gone forever. Could you atleast give us a recipe book or something to remember you by??? I went here with my boyfriend to try their brunch to be brutally jumpscared by the fact that this place was gone, and that the bread guy was still here making bread atleast which is awesome but come on. I hope it wasn't something like selling out. I'd like to think that maybe the owners properly retired, but even then I wish that didn't mean this place didn't have to go as well. Got me questioning if I should drink raw milk or something, and I am someone who fears all bacteria. These health esque businesses don't survive as well as they should. I think if this was in the bay or Los Angeles or somewhere nobody would shut up about it and it would be like this bougie place. But no, it was just an underrated spot in Ripon I'll never stop being sad about. ... recipe book pls or even a pdf

grilled sweet potato sandwich with avocado and gluten free bread with minestrone soup iced matcha
Marisela G.

My friend and I have been wanting to try this place and we loved it!!! we got the same thing and it was soooooo good. I wish I ordered the full sandwich instead of the half sandwich and half soup. I would def come back just for the sandwich. THE MATCHA... amazing. Not too sweet with that original matcha flavor. I was worried it would be too sweet or milky, but it's one of the best matcha I've tried. I definitely will be coming back to try more of their breakfast items!!

Holiday sourdough for easter

One of my favorite places for lunch. I also LOVE and am obsessed with their cheddar jalapeño pull apart bread. When that's not available I get the loaf. I also LOVE their special holiday sourdough loaves! They make the buffet beautiful!

At the San Jose location, Ana repeatedly told me, at least four times, that I had to pick up my cake at 5:00 PM and that there was absolutely no flexibility to come earlier. After nearly 10 minutes of explaining the same thing over and over, she finally said I could come at 4:30 PM. When I asked if she was sure, she said yes. I then asked for her name so I could let the bakery know who approved it, and she said her name was Ana. However, she immediately followed that by saying it was still up to the bakery staff and that they could make me wait until 5:00 PM if they wanted to because that was my scheduled pickup time. She also mentioned that people are always trying to do this. It ended up being a long and frustrating conversation, and I still didn't have a clear answer. Then I called the Dublin location and spoke with Amber. What a difference! She was kind, understanding, and genuinely focused on helping me. She immediately reassured me that the cake would be ready earlier in the day and that I could come pick it up when I needed it. She even explained customization options for the cake that I didn't know were available. Amber made the entire process easy and stress-free. I am so grateful for her flexibility, professionalism, and willingness to help. She made me feel like customer service actually matters, and because of her, I feel confident and excited about my graduation celebration. Whole Foods Dublin is clearly focused on creating a positive customer experience, and I truly appreciate the outstanding service Amber provided.

I was at the self check out counter and a staff was really rude to me: she kept telling me to scan an item a certain way and it did not work. Also my Amazon Palm was not working: she kept insisting that it would be better not to use it since I did not set it up correctly/ she was very rude too. After I checked out, I found out that she was in a hurry since it was the end of her shift. Maybe it would be good if staff members could be scheduled into the back storage room or restocking rather than customers-facing at the end of their shifts: just a suggestion.

This is my convenient neighborhood community market, I like to buy sushi here, sometimes from the…read moresushi bar, plus vegetables, fruits, meats, eggs, milk, etc. There is a great prepared foods counter here, with separate counters to buy salads, prepared dishes, ready to take home dishes, a meat/fish counter in another area, plus a bakery and smoothie/tea/coffee bar. I like to come here for a quick meal when I'm running out of time to dine in somewhere. The staff are friendly, my mom brings her store coupons to use that come through the U.S. mail. Sign up here with your info to hear about their weekly ads and specials. The staff always seem to know where items are located when I ask. The store is very organized and clean. Parking is available outside of the store.

They did not have any blue chia pudding because no one made it that morning, they didn't have any mango chutney, AND they didn't even add granola in my bowl like the description stated. Highly disappointing. Second, I got their tropical smoothie (don't remember exact name) which has orange juice, passion, and other fruits I can't remember plus a swirl of coconut cream lined on the cup... The drink was not aesthetically pleasing. Didn't see a coconut cream swirled. The drink tasted just like straight orange juice only but blended with ice. I always go to New Leaf in Capitola on 41st Avenue whenever I visit and they've never messed up on my orders (except for once when they didn't have mango chutney either). But the drinks they've made for me and the açaí bowls were yummy and good looking. The workers at the juice/coffee/açaí bar here just seemed very lazy and I've been here 5+ times.

Sierra Hills Natural Foods store is such a treasure…read more I always love to stop in here - when we are heading to a show in Murphys or visiting our friends in Arnold. It's the perfect size and it is beautifully curated with organic meats, vegetables, fruits, locally made cards, natural skincare products and more. My favorite aspect of this darling store is their staff. They exude kindness and they are always eager to help. On my recent trip here - one of the staff members went out of their way to select the perfect container of fresh raspberries for me. As I was checking out - a different sales clerk - commented on my portable fan and we both bonded over "running hot" throughout the day. It was a lovely personable interaction that made me smile and it reminded me of how important it is to support our local grocery stores and community. It fell well in line with a quote that I shared out recently from Paul Avellino: "It hits different when your grocery haul comes with eye contact, a conversation, and food that was picked just hours before you bought it. You're not just stocking your fridge, you're participating in a quiet rebellion. Every bunch of carrots, every dozen eggs, every handmade loaf is a vote for a food system rooted in care, not convenience. When you buy from local farmers, bakers, beekeepers, and makers, you're not just eating better--you're keeping money in your community. That $20 doesn't vanish into some corporate profit margin. It helps a farmer fix their truck, a baker buy flour, a family pay rent. It circulates, it nourishes, it sustains. Supporting your local economy isn't charity. It's strategy. Because when local businesses thrive, the whole community grows stronger, from the soil up. & " - Paul Avellino Trust.

Two stars for being a "health food" super market in a town that isn't all that enlightened…read moreregarding the subject. I grew up in San Diego and got to witness Sprouts from the beginning. First it was Boney's, when things were on wire shelves like an old school co-op, then it became Henry's, and eventually Sprouts like it is today. Except back in the 90s, they made their own hummus in house, as well as a number of other items. Btw their hummus was the best, and I've had it all over the world. Fast forward to the mid 2000s and I lived in LA, where there was a Sprouts, a Trader Joe's, and a World Foods all within a short distance from one another. Sprouts had changed, but I could still get most of what I needed there. I only went to the other places for specific things, but Sprouts was my go-to. However they stopped making a lot of things in house, their deli sandwich were pitiful and expensive, and some of my old fav items were no longer there. Fast forward another however many years, and it's the only health food place in town. I don't know what changed, but it's different. The prices are a lot higher compared to what they were vs. mainstream and other health food stores. Probably the "Lodi Tax". They don't seem to have as much variety. And the ready made, microwave at home dishes are paired down to a limited variety, and are super expensive. Now there's the deli. They have this butternut squash dish. But they cook it with onions, garlic, and peppers. Not at all the flavor profile that goes with that squash. I couldn't eat it. Had to throw it out. Even my less picky friend spat it out. Why no cinnamon and nutmeg? Everyone likes that, and expects it. Then there's the deli meat. I have sometimes been able to find real sliced roasted turkey breast. Not the slimy stuff that you get pre packaged that is basically all the garbage parts of the bird blended up and poured into a mold with added water and sodium like pretty much all lunch meat. I mean real turkey breast. I know they have it. But depending on who is behind the counter, you either get someone who knows the difference (not hard to tell, just look!) and will happily help you out. Or you get someone who is clearly not happy to be there and doesn't want to put in the effort to just look, and will rather argue with you and pretend to not know what you are talking about. Which leads me to the whole processed lunch meat thing. If you look in the deli window at what claims to be 100% turkey breast, and is in the shape, and is as big as an actual turkey (or maybe a large chicken), and you slice it, and it is slimy and has tiny bubbles and no muscle grain in it, it is not an actual turkey breast. The turkey would have to be the size of an ostrich to have a breast that big and uniform, and you would have to be a very unobservant, or very lazy person to not know the difference when asked for real roasted turkey breast deli meat, despite what the manufacturer labels it as. So because of the shrinkage in items and the ongoing battle with the deli counter, and the skyrocketing prices, I kinda just stopped going here. Honestly, for a single bag of groceries here, I can get three at TJ's if I take the journey to Stockton. Yeah they don't even have a deli. So I guess sandwiches are out for me. But I'm saving money and getting better food items by avoiding this place. Sad to say it, but they gotta do better, and they need better people working there.
