Miray started the process by taking me to Blue Bottle for a coffee, which set a welcoming and relaxed tone right from the beginning. When we returned, she walked me through the different fabrics and options, and took the time to ensure everything was tailored perfectly to my body. The entire experience felt first-class--I honestly felt like I was preparing for a red carpet event. The team was professional, attentive, and clearly takes pride in their work. I made an order in July of 2023 and was told to expect a turnaround time of 4-6 weeks. in October I was told there will be an additional 2-3 weeks before I can do a pickup. Every 2-3 weeks after August I called to ask for an update and was told it should be just another week or two. I was never told what the actual problem was or any ideas to fix it that might need my input. The selection of fabric and initial fitting both seemed to go well, however, none of that matters if there is no delivery or delivery is significantly delayed. Update based on a very late delivery: I got delivery mid November. There were multiple disappointing things that came out. 1) The reason for the delay was explained and it could have been explained to me much earlier and a potential change or solution could have resulted in a delivery that was just a week or two later than promised. 2) The single specific detail I asked for was done wrong and it was done wrong in a way that could not be fixed. I was told in the shop that it was ok - but upon consultation with another tailor they explained why the detail was wrong and why an alteration to get the detail as I desired was impossible. read more

Our experience with Klein Epstein & Parker has been stressful and unnecessarily unpleasant. A reputable company would never behave as they have. We live in Phoenix, Arizona and while in LA on business, my 27-year-old son went into their Hollywood location in mid-October, 2019 and was measured for two custom suits, an extra pair of slacks with each, plus dress shirts and casual shirts. The measurement process seemed meticulous and exacting and took nearly an hour to complete. They were given additional instructions to fit these on the looser side to allow for freedom of movement. The total cost was over $4100, and the garments were to be shipped to our home in Arizona prior to an important business meeting where he wanted to look impeccable. They understood that he could not return for alterations since he lives out of state, but all were in agreement that custom clothing should come out close to an ideal fit, which is a reasonable assumption. My son was excited about receiving wonderful fitting custom designed suits. When they arrived in December, the dress shirts were not included, but the suits and slacks were so small that he couldn't even get them on, as were the casual shirts. They were sized for a child and he had even lost a few pounds in the time between the fitting and receipt of the clothes. They were so off; it was obvious these were not made to his measurements and it had to be a mix-up of the paperwork in processing or production. We immediately contacted them, but several days went by and there was hostility and push back about a credit to his credit card. Surprisingly, there was no explanation for why this had occurred, never an apology, and no concern for his situation. He had to run around and get another suit made up in rushed and stressed conditions for his meeting. They offered to have him come back to LA for modifications, but this was not convenient or possible, plus there was no way these could be altered to fit anyway. There was not even close to enough material to even begin such a process. It would require starting from scratch. A superior business would have understood immediately the importance of customer service. Were this my company, I would have immediately apologized, told the customer that this was so unusual that it had to be a clerical mixup in processing, and I would have assured the customer they were not at risk for their money. I would have done everything to assure them I would get them their credit and offer a discount if they were willing to give us another try, but not Klein Epstein & Parker. The CEO, Miray Bik, was hostile, defensive, and unconcerned with us, just protecting her own financial interest. She offered a partial credit, which was unacceptable, and it forced us to initiate a dispute with our credit card carrier, and that has taken us an additional four months of time, correspondence and work to get processed. We have a complete email thread and photographs we will be willing to share with anyone who requests them. This is all factual, and I am not happy to have to post this about any company, but it is important that anyone considering the purchase of very expensive custom clothing know the manner in which Klein Epstein & Parker does business. Hopefully this will prevent anyone else from having to go through the misery we have. read more

They have a Great Selection of fabrics, buttons, linings etc to help you create some awesome pieces. The best part isnt even the fact you are getting a great quality custom suit. The best part is service and experience from the knowledgeable associates. They know fashion, they know the trends and the best part is they will actually listen to what you want. Ive had many tailors insist on not doing certain things because they were extremely conservative but the guys here can be as conservative or as modern as youd like. Their tastes might lean on the vibrant and modern side of things but no matter your tastes they can accomodate you. Its hard for me to buy off the rack because of my body style, certain "Slim fit" cuts just dont fit me right but here i was able to get a slim looking suit that was created just for me. Ive had some other custom suits made at other places and definitely noticed some quality control issues in some areas, like the zippers, pockets, lining etc But with the suit from KEP, you can tell that it was hand crafted in a manner youd expect for the money you are spending. I had the opportunity to create a custom suit and went with the team at KEP. While I initially loved my suit (the custom touches, the fit and feel) I quickly found out that the quality may not be what you're paying for. My pants split - not down a seam, but rather the material just came apart on one of the legs. Now that I'm NY based, I can't easily take them in to show them how the quality clearly was not up to par. After sending a photo to Aaron, he told me "after two years of wear it is really not uncommon for materials to give, especially on the seat." I've worn the suit maybe a total of 10 times in the two years - on the high side. A suit for over 1K shouldn't "give" and completely tear apart, especially if my size hasn't changed. After that exchange, I was told I could purchase a new pair of pants for 433.82 - down to the penny. Thanks, but no thanks - not exactly the type of service I expected from this place. A couple of weeks later, I went to try on my vest so that I could mix and match the remaining element(s) of the suit with other pants I owned, and THAT also split! I was stunned. What started as my favorite three piece suit turned into something that just reminds me of utter disappointment. My advice - find someone who will take care of their customers and back their product. read more

After voicing my frustration and disappointment with the owner Miray, she took it upon herself to turn things around for me- and she really did in a big way. Miray invited me to come back in after hours to be refitted by the best of the best at the shop (his name is Chance). A wonderful guy and super talented. They both worked together with me to make sure everything was perfect, and ended up rebuilding me an entirely new suit while also putting a rush on it. unfortunately, this is the worst suit experience I ever had. I paid some $700 for a "custom-tailored" suit. I kind of had a bad feeling during the buying stage. tons of fun and yuks and chumminess. but (and here is the first warning sign -- I'm surprised no other reviewers are mentioning this): there is no tailor at this custom tailoring shop. it's not that the tailor left early. and it's not that the tailor is coming in later. there is. no. tailor. that is a short-coming for a custom tailoring shop, in my opinion. what you get instead are a couple of "fun" young hipsters, who have absolutely no tailoring knowledge at all, but love to show you fabrics and gush about this one or that. nice guys, but no expertise. at all. and they're certainly not tailors. so they will arrange your suit fabric, and they will laugh about what your suit lining should be, and they will take your measurements to the best of their limited abilities. and then they will send this information to a foreign tailor somewhere (where?). and then a month and a half later, your suit will arrive. and that's when the fun really begins. the first thing they start letting you know is that they're not too eager to make any alterations from here on out. oh. okay. I noticed that the suit was kind of snug. "it's fine. fits perfect." okay. but a few months -- and 8-10 lbs later -- poof! -- the suit was now un-wearable. Every. Other. Suit. I Own. Is Fine. not one of my other suits requires an alteration. just Klein Epstein's. and -- they don't want the suit back to alter it. and my own tailor points out that there is no extra fabric anywhere to pull. somehow, they cut this suit down to the centimeter, and now -- nothing to let out. no leeway. no extra room. no fabric. there's a reason people buy off the rack. there's a reason this little shop is so tiny. the reason is that this is not custom tailoring -- it's custom crap. read more

The staff was very helpful with the design of my suit to fit my body type and my style. On my wedding day, I got so many compliments from my wife's friends who basically told her that they knew she would look amazing in her dress, but DAMN was she lucky to marry me. Their suits fit so well, they are great quality, they understand fashion, they are fun to be around and they are very reasonably priced for what you get. KEP makes me want to wear suits more often. Great service, but a ton of problems. I was in about a year ago or so. Someone asked me yesterday about the shop. So I reviewed it. Had a nice grey suit made for a cheap price. Also 3 dress shirts. When the suit came, the sizes where much bigger, and shorter in the pants. Then the shirts had frays all over the cuffs. Two of the shirts cuff buttons landed on the wrong side. My right sleeve did not have room for any of my watches. But good price & nice people. Horrible tailor for alterations. Not sure what country they are actually made in. read more
