Update to last post. Sundance spa lasted 1 month from last repair and now it is broken again. Complete piece of crap, and I cannot bear to deal with these folks again. Gonna drain it, and next Spring find a better dealer and product in the area and have a new one installed. I would NEVER buy a Sundance spa again. read more

In May of 2021, we paid Klenswite $3600 for a new gas pool heater, which died after 3 months of use. Klenswite assured us the heater and its main components were covered under the warranty and that they would handle it and either repair or replace the heater for the 2022 season. I began contacting them in early 2022 to get a feel for what they planned to do with no response. Finally, in the spring they said the manufacturer didn't have the necessary part in stock as yet. When I called the manufacturer they assured me that the part was indeed in stock. More phone calls and emails to Klenswite until they left us a voice message saying the part was in and that they'd be out to install it the following week. When I followed up by phone, they informed me that the warranty was null and void due to a water chemistry issue and that we were basically out of luck. Bottom line, we went an entire 2022 season without a heater, sued Klenswite and the manufacturer. and prevailed in recouping our loss. The manufacturer immediately offered to reimburse us half the cost of the heater. When the court asked Klenswite if they were willing to reimburse us the other half, the owner said, ''I guess you've got me by the short ones.'' Case closed! read more

Extremly disaapointed with the service from this company. I know every company has a bad day however I have been dealing with them now all season. I can not say in all the dealings not one has been a pleasant one. I would recommend you go to another company. I bought a property with a hot tub in the winter,. I call Kleinswite because they were the closest company and name was on the hot tub so figured they knew the hot tub. They opened and checked the hottub and said this is a good hot tub no worries. It took weeks to get an appt and of course they were not helpful or on time but at least came the day they were supposed to. The pillows and the filter cover was missing and I asked if it could be ordered and was told yes no problem we will take care of. This was 1st week in April. As soon as he left I noticed hot tub was leaking. I immediately called them and they said they would come out and look once the parts were in. I waited over a month and did not hear anything. I called and they said they would look into and get back to me. Never got a call back. I was down so I went into store and they said they knew nothing about the order and will talk with Wade, They also finally scheduled to come out and look at leak. Again never showed up on time but eventually came to house and said it was leaking at motor and I needed a new motor they would order, I again went into store to check on pillows. They show ed me what they had in stock which obviously isn't the right ones and would not work. They said they have looked everywhere and can not find them. They gave me the name of hot tuib. I went on line and search and found another hot tub company in NC called then. they shipooed to me and I had in 3 days. meanwhile they had order for over 3 months and could not get. When finally scheduling the motor install. they took weeks again and never showed up. I called numerous times during the day and they said he was running late but would be there. I asked them to call before coming because I had to run out. The tech called at 6 PM and said I am at your house and you are not there,. I tolld him he was supposed to call 30 minutes before and I would be back in 30 minutes. When I got home he left and never returned calls. the next morning another crew decided to just show up without and appt and install motor. I thought thank god this nightmare if finally over. They left and guess what . Still leaking,. Leak was not the motor,. Had to go through same thing again for another apt and again a hassle to learn he can not fix till we close spa. Schedul;e closing spa for 1 1/2 months later. BTW I am 2.5 to 3 hours away. I called 2 days before appt to reconfirm and see if they knew when they were coming so I knew if I had to drive down night before or same day to meet them. I was told by KIm that they would not know till morning of. call at 9 Am. Ok I guess I need to drive down night before. I call at 9Am and Kim tells me they have 3 pools to open before me and each takes about an hour so they should be at my house between noon and 1. I said are trhey going to call me and she said no but if I wanted she could call them and tell them too. I sadi do not bother I will just make sure I am there between 12 and 1. She said if something changes I will call you,. I waited till 2:30 and decided to call Kim. She said they are supposed to call me buut she would call them and find out what time and call me right back. I waited another half hour and no return call from KIm. So i call Kim back and say did you get ahold of them. Yes they will be there around 4 but they will call befire. I said ok I have been waiting inside all day I have to run out and will make sure back by 3:45 just in case. I wait again till 4:55. Still no one comes or calls. I call the company because I am afraid they are closing at 5 and have no numbers or way to reach anyone. They are already closed and no one shows up, no on e calls no contact and no service,. We were very disappointed with Klenswite. When we bought our home we paid Klenswite to do a professional pool inspection. On the inspection report the pool heater was identified as a gas heater that needed repair or replacement. This was incorrect. It is an old electric water heater. It is not a regular pool heater and there is not even a gas line to that side of the house. It will cost us considerable to upgrade to a gas heater and put in a gas line. Perhaps one mistake is understandable but we when we moved here we asked Klenswite to send a service person to show us how to maintain the pool and use the chemicals. During this consultation the service person told us that the grainy deposits at the bottom of the pool indicated that the sand filter needed repair. This would cost about $300. Later we found out from another pool service that it was not sand but dead algae and only needed to be vacuumed up. The sand filter is fine and does not need repair. In addition to these items, I was told when I scheduled the service consultation that it would cost $90 to which I agreed. At the end of the service call, the service person started to charge me $125. I reminded him of the agreement and he backed off to the agreed on $90. For these reasons and others I am sorry to say that I cannot recommend Klenswite as being professional or competent. read more

I normally don't write bad comments on companies pages but I am compelled to do so for this company due to the treatment my father received on this past Saturday by none other than the owner! The company is great as long as you don't question their service. Watch what you ask because you might be verbally attacked by the owner!!!!! NEVER in my life have a witnessed an owner of a company show such disrespect and be so belligerent to a customer who questioned the quality their service. To quote the owner " I OWN THIS BUSINESS and THE CUSTOMER ISN"T ALWAYS RIGHT" My father has owned a pool for over 20 years. Last summer, my dad hired Klenswite to open, service, and close his pool. When we removed the cover on Saturday, the pool water was green. So while at the store, my father told a company representative in the back office. He stated -maybe not enough chemicals were used at the time of closing. The response from the companies representative was explanations and excuses. My father asked again, explaining that he never experienced green water at opening when he personally closed the pool. This is when the owner jumped in and spent the next 10 minutes being belligerent and condescending to my father. He father never said another word. He stood their and listened to the owner go on & on. The owner stated repeatedly he can't control the weather, can't control if we dump a full trash can of trash in the pool, can't control electricity and on & on. The owner was BELLIGERENT! Just waiting for my father to say something. My father has owned his own business for over 40 years and NEVER EVER EVER spoke to any customer the way he was spoken to and treated on Saturday!!!! My father is non confrontational- That's why he didn't response to this verbal bashing. He even paid that day to have this company continue to service his pool after the bashing! As we were leaving, I said to the owner that he owed my father an apology. That's when I learned the the representative was his wife. He then started his verbal attack on me. Couplied with his disrespect for my father, he brought me to tears but then didn't even stop his verbal abuse. Needless to say- you lost a customer. BEWARE - his owner has no respect for paying customers who question his staff, service or him!! Since the owner of Klenswite doesn't respect his customers- here are some other places that will. If you need supplies or service - try Island Pools & Patios ( right down the street from this store & less expensive), Harbor Pools and Patios in Cape May Courthouse, Paramount Chemical & Paper in Wildwood or even Walmart. FYI to the owner- here are 3 of the 5 keys to lasting customer service. 3. Give respect. It costs nothing to be courteous, but you can pay dearly if you aren't. 4. Treat everyone like a VIP. "There's only one boss, the customer," Sam Walton once said. "He can fire everybody from the chairman on down simply by spending his money elsewhere." 5. Show immediate action and solutions, not blame. Sometimes things get messed up, but apologies, which matter, mean nothing if they aren't followed by action.
