Zach came out and did a full inspection and cleaning. This was the inspection that occurs after the system has been working for awhile. Atleast done by 1 yr. Ours is 10 months old. Kliemann Brothers has done a phenomenal job for us. Zach put up with me relearning everything about the system. Even the thermostat information again. These folks continue to impress me more than any other company I have ever had over the decades. Zach today, was nothing short of outstanding in every way. He was very thorough, took his time to do things right and answered every question I had along the way to take care of my HVAC system, teaching me things along the way to help me take care of the things I can do myself. He reminds me of Nathan who came out before ... simply outstanding! I don't know where Kliemann Brothers get their techs, but they are all second to none, just like the rest of their staff. We had a new Trane HVAC system installed by Kliemann Brothers in 2017, when we added about 1,900 square fee to our home. They were easy to work with at first and we were happy with how the process went. The problems soon started happening after about 18 months. First the Thermostat failed, then an issue with an electrical card in the furnace, then came a full breakdown of the heat pump in less than three years time. We have not had AC for the last four summers, we have had to use the "emergency" function of the back up gas furnace for heat (with astronomical heating bills). Just this month the electronic air filter system died as well. Our system came with a 10-year warranty, but don't let that fool you because that is only for parts from Trane. Every time a technician would come out we were billed for their time. Repairs to our system, under warranty have been quoted from $4,500.00 up to $14,000.00. I think the higher priced quotes are the companies that "don't want to be associated with anything Kliemann has installed." We had at least six other HVAC companies out to quote pricing for repairs and we told the system was improperly sized for the applications intended. After much grousing with Kliemann they finally sent out one of their "specialists" to evaluate the system. We were told "everything was to specifications." This was a blatant lie (I used my manometer and checked all the pressures in the same place as the so called specialist). Needless to say, not only do we have to pay to install a correct system now, but we have to pay to remove and dispose of the system Kliemann installed. It is sad to see so many good reviews by people that just had new systems installed. They will feel the pain when they have to deal with issues five or six years from now. read more

We had a heat pump and 2 mini splits installed a year ago. The saleswoman was very informative. The installation was smooth. About 6 months in, we noticed a repetitive clicking sound in the main unit. The initial service seemed to resolve it, but the noise returned. The 2nd technician could not diagnose it or provide any insight. The 3rd technician, Nathan, who is their senior technician, was able to diagnose the issue as refrigerant running through the pipes, and was able to offer a solution that could reduce the noise. Nathan gets 5 stars, but I have to give the company 4 stars because it took several technicians to resolve the issue and because the installation may have been part of the problem (the heat pump is only 10 feet away from the main mini split). If it was installed a little further away, it could have reduced and possibly eliminated the noise. read more

Our thermostat wasnt working properly ("thermostat wasn't communicating" was the info with red light flashing) and the AC wasn't really working so I called Kliemann Brothers Heating and AC. They scheduled an appointment with their technician Chuck W. So on the day of the appointment, they texted and emailed me with a technician's photo, and Chuck called to let me know his time of arrival. Had two mini splits installed in our home through Kliemann. Great team from sales, admin, to their technicians. Their estimator came prepared and did research on our property prior to meeting us on site to better provide recommendations. They were willing to hear out our ideas to avoid wrapping the front of our house with ugly hose covers as other companies suggested and even provided useful suggestion on how to make it practical/accessible for personal maintenance. They also were willing to reevaluate their quote to stay competitive with the 3 others I was given. Their admin team provided great communication about schedule and billing process. And their technicians are nice, knowledgeable, and mindful of keeping your home clean. Electricians even disconnected some additional breakers I needed disconnect for future projects since they already had the breaker open. Had a great experience with Kliemann Brothers. We were decommissioning our old oil furnace so we needed a new electrical way to heat the house and went for the ductless heat pumps so we could have heat AND a/c. We made the switch in 2021 and they made it easy. They handled the entire house installation and servicing and the system still runs perfectly now four years later.
