Interlock switch installed by Go Hawk Electric.
    Rocky R.

Go Hawk Electric I wanted to connect my new Anker Solix f3800 battery backup system to my electrical panel. I asked for many quotes and Go Hawk Electric had the best quote so I checked out their website. They had 125 surveys with an average of 5.0 stars so I hired them. Two electricians installed a 50 amp generator inlet box so I could connect my electrical panel to my Anker Solix f3800 battery. I supplied the interlock switch, inlet box and cable. They filed the interlock switch so it would seamlessly switch from grid power to battery power so I could power my entire house a few hours a day as well as for power blackouts. They worked tirelessly making sure that everything worked perfectly. Now I understand why they received all five stars on their surveys. They definitely are a top-notch company and I'm very happy with their work. I highly recommend them to anyone with electrical projects. Thank you Go Hawk Electric for my excellent experience with your company.

Juicebox installed for Ev charging. They installed the 240v outlet and mounted the charger.

GoHawk Electric helped us install our Ev Charger by installing a 240v outlet. We bought the charger via Costco and reached out to Billy at GoHawk. Billy was very responsive via emails and we got 2 electricians sent to our home right on time for the appt. They had the best price out of all the other companies we reached out to and also the best reviews. So we tried out GoHawk and are very happy with the decision. The 2 electricians that worked on our project were cool, friendly and very knowledgeable. GoHawk also does not upcharge the permit fees. For example, our kent permit fee is $64 which is what they charged. But the majority of other companies were charging around $200 for the same permit fees. We'll definitely use GoHawk for all our future projects!

Billy is responsive and dependable. After all the electricians I've cycled through over a mid century renovation, Go Hawk is the best.

The backstory: my family and I were in Alaska when the PNW had a big freeze and our pool heat pump condenser and above ground pipes froze and burst. No one was able to come to our home for a couple weeks due to all the other customer priorities dealing with the aftermath of the storm. I completely get it...a pool is not a priority when others are without heat. So our son purchased and installed a new condenser to get the pool water flowing to avoid frozen water in the pool cracking our pool walls and creating a much bigger problem! Our next challenge was to find a way to purchase and install a highly regulated refrigerant requiring a license and special tools. We soon learned that DIYing the refrigerant to get the heat pump working was not possible. For over three years I called different service companies asking for help - pool service companies such as Aquaquip who originally sold and installed the unit, and AquaCal; a different AquaCal, the manufacturer of the pool heat pump; other dozens of other HVAC contractors too numerous to mention except I will mention my serious disappointment with South Sound Plumbing with whom we spend a lot of money annually to service our other home heat pumps. After 30 different phone calls none would help us. "Too risky they" said, "wouldn't be able to warranty the work" said others. The truth? Our problem was simply too small a job or didn't fit their known expertise. Northwest was willing to help (BTW they showed up on the top of a list of HVAC contractors during my ChatGPT co-thinking session). I'm so grateful to Darlene (who took my call and listened with compassion to my unusual problem. I'm grateful to Zane, Northwest's Service Manager, who spent time deeply listening, brainstorming an approach, and getting someone out to our home. Finally, heartfelt kudos to Nate, our HVAC tech wizard, who successfully got our pool heat pump heating water! Yahoo! If you've got an HVAC challenge that doesn't fit neatly into your current HVAC service company's service menu or you want to partner with a company who really cares about delivering value and a great customer experience, I highly recommend Northwest Expert Heating, Cooling, and Electrical!

I feel like I've been a vicitim of a very elaborate bait and switch (combined with the fact that I stupidly decided to do a five-year membership to service our system at no cost so now I'm tied to them). This was THEIR error, not discovered at install or six months, and now I'm out $1500. They never acknowledged their install error. To boot, their GM basically harassed me on text, super unprofessional, berating my husband for hanging up on him after he completely ignored my information on text. He mentioned he would share our text thread on reviews. Cool. Question if it is all there if they do post. Buyer BEWARE. Don't let the sell job catch you...they're slick on the sell and absent on accountability. :-( UPDATE: Another company identified a different problem as the culprit, and identified installation flaws from this company. Please don't use them. They cut corners and are now costing us thousands. This company sold out in October 2025 and it shows. Buyer beware.

I have an older house so it could've been anything... Paul was able to squeeze me in towards the end of the day due to a cancellation, so I can tell that he takes care of new customers just as well as existing. He was so communicative and honest with what he was doing, I actually learned a lot! After a couple hours he deemed that the wiring and circuit to the fridge was just fine and that the issue is probably the fridge itself (which is unfortunate, but at least he didn't have to tear my wall apart!). I will say that the fees were a little more than other electricians I saw, but given the quality, communication, and overall great experience, it's well worth it! I will be using Dependable Electric again whenever I have electrical issues!

The tech they sent spent an hour looking around, trying to find the problem. He said he couldn't solve it but we still got charged $411. He said he would have to send someone else. Any estimate for the job? No - he couldn't even make an estimate. When I called Adam, he said they would send a more experienced tech. Why not send someone qualified the first time? What about the charge for showing up and not doing anything? "That's our normal fee?" So, will we be charged for a new estimate? "It's still $250 to show up." Really? I told him we didn't want them anymore and we would like at least a partial refund. He agreed to a refund of $125, but the refund didn't come. I called again and he said they had a miscommunication. Now it would be sent. Still no refund ... We found a new person, a handyman - he said it was challenging, but he found the broken connection and he only charged us $250. Mirsky? Never again ...
