Two weeks ago, feeling very sic, coughing and a painfully irritated throa. Tried to make an appointmen, was told no Dr available, but offered a Dr from the 'Call Center' to talk with me on the phone. she was very nice; said I needed a test to find out cause. I agreed. She said to go to b CB clini, no Apptmt needed on the 3rd floor before 6pm. I was feeling very sic, but I still wen; got there around 4:30p. Once there, was told no record of my tes, couldn't get Dr on phone either. Waisted my time and energy. Dr called me later on, said everything was on system, go figure. I went back a week late. Was told they didn't do the test in there‍. Gave me a written order to go to LabCotp. Today I made it to Labcorp bc I'm still sick. Labcorp told me they DO NOT do that type of test, to call the clinic. I called Centrum and once again, they tried to blamed it on Labcotp. No one took responsibility and kept telling me to contact Labcorp. So, once agai, no servic, no constructive communication and no results. I'm still sick and no where to get help. I spent hours on the phone with Cerdeira''s staff., and my dermatologist office was trying to help as well, calling them, emailing them and faxing them all kinds of requests and codes that they asked for and to no avail, in 25 years living in Miami, I have not had worse service than from Dr. Cerdeira at Centrum Health . That's my experience at every doctors office I've been to, until now. At One Medical in Brickell you're welcomed into an open living room setting by Bri and Eliza who are both super friendly and professional. Don't get too comfy in the waiting room because you'll be taken on time (in my case they took me early.) And it wasn't a nurse or assistant who came out to greet me. It was the doctor herself. Dr. Rosie Singh is awesome. Friendly, knowledgable, compassionate, very easy to talk with. She explained a medical condition better than the specialist who treated me. for it. She gave me around 30 minutes of her undivided attention (unlike a previous primary care physician who breezed in and out of the examining room in minutes!) Her follow up was same day. I went to have my lab work done after my physical and waited less than five minutes to be seen (I went on a weekday morning.) Adriana took my blood sample and was a gentle pro (despite my uncooperative veins!) Plus, my lab results were ready the very next day complete with Dr Singh's comments. Every inch of the office is immaculate. This is not your typical doctor's office visit. While I hope I don't have to visit frequently, it will be a pleasure to return to One Medical.
