I paid $4400 for 2 KLIPSCH speakers, the Heritage Series. One of the Grilles had obvious bumps on the cloth, caused by 4 rivets being installed backwards. This speaker should have never left the factory. So I called in to the designated number, and there is no choice on the phone tree for either "warranty" or "heritage series". After bouncing around the phone tree for 17 minutes, I went online to fill in a warranty request, with pictures and copy of receipt, and was promised a 7 day reply. On day 9, I called in to the number on the warranty acknowledgement, and, yes, it was the same main number, which has no choice for "Heritage series" or "warranty". So I picked option 5, and at the 30 minute mark, there was an answer. The rep blamed the delay on Christmas, reviewed my submittal, and agreed to send out a replacement grille. Total 44 minutes. However, during the hold time, all I heard was "world class, blow your mind, state of the art, 70 years of expertise, international family of brands, etc", not exactly what you want to hear when calling for warranty purposes. Also, every 2 minutes, you have to opt out of leaving a voice mail by pressing 2-a real nuisance if you happen to be multitasking, so as to not totally be wasting time on hold. And when I went to the Klipsch website to post a review, I got an error message, please try again later, after twice typing in similar to this, and with no way to save or go back. There should be a separate, special number for the Heritage line, and "warranty" should be a choice on the outgoing phone message. Don't think that you are special if you pay 1000's of dollars for the Heritage line. Having been a Klipsch owner and fan since the 70's, I am disappointed beyond belief at how little respect is shown for owners of this premium product. They are taking the customers for granted, we deserve better. No more Klipsch or me, and I would send these back to Crutchfield if I didn't have to pay the freight. read more
