My experience with Kloeckner Flowers was fair. The arrangement was fresh and pretty, but not what I thought I ordered. The photo of the standard arrangement seemed to have more stems than the deluxe which I upgraded to. I was particularly looking forward to the ranunculus as shown. I know substitutions are sometimes made, but I thought those were available year round. And there weren't any flowers substituted for the missing ranunculus. My daughter is none the wiser about the upgrade and she's happy with them, so that's what matters most in the end. read more

The flower arrangements for my wedding at Adler Planetarium in Chicago were STUNNING. I requested light, blush pinks for all bouquets with minimal white flowers. I worked primarily with Pam and she was so attentive to truly capture my vision for the day. She asked lots of questions while putting together the contract and carefully went over all details multiple times with me. This whole process was smooth and easy. The price compared to other florists was similar so what sold me initially was how carefully the team listened, considered my thoughts, and the extra little perks they included. They were able to adjust the quote to fit my budget. We had a small wedding of 45 guests so we really maximized the amount of flowers we could have within our budget. We cannot rave enough about Kloeckner's flowers. We were referred to the services from our wedding venue and couldn't be happier with the outcome. Throughout the whole process Pam was our point of contact and was very responsive and great to work with. She is able to create anything you find on Pinterest! She is also great at providing expertise in terms of what flowers to use, etc. Around 6-8 weeks before the date, we scheduled a "tasting" which was easy to schedule and reflected everything we discussed with Pam. My family has been ordering floral arrangements from Kloeckner's for almost 25 years. We've always had exceptional customer service and gorgeous floral pieces. We often find guests/friends asking "Did you get the flowers from Kloeckner's?" Then following the question with a statement such as: "Wow they are gorgeous." Q: What makes this florist so great? A: The floral designers!! The designers at Kloeckner's are not afraid to be creative and use modern techniques to achieve a desired outcome. This is my hidden gem - they were recommended to me by someone at Blue Plate Catering, after he had realized I was a budget bride telling me that Mark at Kloeckner was really good at making things work with smaller budgets. They are on the trusted vendor list at one of the most expensive Chicago wedding locations, Cafe Brauer so I knew that this wasn't a second rate florist. I didn't sign with Blue Plate for my catering (I'm small potatoes) but I am so thankful to Blue Plate for recommending Kloeckner. They provided the flowers and centerpieces for our wedding last week and I could not be happier! One, their prices were unbeatable - even my DOC said his contacts couldn't be as cost competitive. The flowers were gorgeous and totally tied my wedding together thematically. I didn't have a big floral budget but Mark made it work! It was perfect! Mark was also great with customer service - when I requested a sample of a centerpiece to take to our rental company and look at our sample dining table, I was able to go to his shop and pick it up. He was also very flexible with changes to the contract. Again, recommend highly! read more

Mark and the Kloeckner team were such a great choice for our July 2021 wedding at Cafe Brauer. We found Kloeckner from Cafe Brauer's list of allowed floral vendors, and our venue contact suggested we contact them when we asked for her recommendation for an affordable, high quality option. We met at the Kloeckner shop twice, once before our initial booking way back in 2019 and then again after two postponements for a final discussion a few weeks before our wedding. Both times, Mark was so warm and welcoming, really knows his stuff, and worked so hard to really understand our vision and make sure everything was perfect. I contacted a few of the other preferred vendors and I'm confident that Kloeckner's prices were the most competitive, and I appreciated that they didn't have a minimum like many other companies. The flowers at our wedding turned our absolutely beautiful. The candles lining the window sills were one of my favorite parts and done by Kloeckner as well. The only thing I will say is that if you are looking for an all inclusive design company to manage intensive design (over and above just flowers), Kloeckner may not be the right choice. But if you are looking for high quality, beautiful florals, wonderful service, reasonable prices, and supporting a Chicago family business, Kloeckner is the perfect choice! My wife and I were married in June at the Chicago History Museum. Mark and his team exceeded our expectations in every way. We did a ton of research for florists in the Chicago area and sent out inquires with pictures for ~8 of the top florists and/or event/design teams in the area. We ended up meeting with 3 of these teams in person, and decided right after meeting with Mark that he was the right person for us. Mark is an incredibly sincere, genuine and accommodating person, and I have no idea how he kept us on budget with the absolutely incredible floral arrangements he did for our wedding. He was, by far, the most affordable florist we priced, and did not sacrifice quality or vision. He patiently responded to our emails as my wife and I altered our floral vision, and completely blew us away during our "sampling" when we were able to see replicas of the day-of floral arrangements in person. On our wedding day, my wife and I were so moved to see how beautifully Mark and his team arranged our chuppah to incorporate the simple greenery arrangements we wanted. He also hung my mom's wedding train on the chuppah, which was incredibly meaningful to us. I wish I could give Mark more than 5 stars. His work was modern, thoughtful and simply exceptional. By far the best choice we made during what was an incredibly busy (and sometimes stressful!) wedding planning process. Kloeckner blew us away and exceeded all expectations for our September 17 wedding. Mark and his team are consummate professionals, execute perfectly and provide superior creative direction. From the start, Mark was patient and listened to our somewhat vague ideas, showed us examples and pictures and took our venue (huge, high ceilings) into account when creating the proposal. He was all about having fun with the designs and mixing things up but still provided us with a lot of practical guidance. No detail was too small - at one point a small component of one of the centerpieces had to be changed to comply with fire code - though I am sure I would not have noticed, Mark made sure I was aware of and ok with the change prior to making it. The team was also flexible - when we had a last minute change in our table count, the team worked with us and provided seamless solutions. As our guests' pictures appear on facebook and the like, we can't help but notice how all of them have multiple shots of the flowers - even the guys snapped pictures - they were that gorgeous.
