Last fall I discovered a ceiling leak around my gas fireplace. Like most people I didn't know anything about this sort of thing and discovered from the companies we spoke to that the solution was not apparent and could be expensive. It wasn't a major issue until my wife and I decided to sell our house shortly afterward. We had a half dozen companies come in and give us an idea of what the problem was. There were different opinions but 4Seasons gave us the most confidence in their inspection and recommendation. But repairs couldn't be done until the Spring and then in January we found a buyer but couldn't sell the house until the ceiling leak was fixed. It was nail biting time. We experienced a tornado here in North Haven in August 2020. I have lived in CT my whole life and never been in the direct path of a tornado. A Four Seasons representative was on our street the next morning. Several of us approached him. He methodically inspected the damage on all our houses, offered to tarp our roofs - all covered by our home owner's insurance and gave an estimate to repair the damages. I have two separate roofs - one to the main house, one to the addition. Only one needed to be replaced. I accepted the estimate after putting in an insurance claim. The work was done promptly several weeks later - the team was immaculate. Six months later the undamaged roof was damaged during a severe thunderstorm. Four Seasons came out promptly, inspected the damage, offered an estimate and the other roof was repaired within a month. Highly recommend this team. Four Seasons Chimney and Roofing replaced the roof on two of my barns, including removal and replacement of many of the sheets of plywood sheathing. The barns had a low pitch (2"-3" in 12") and originally had architectural shingles when I purchased the property. They recommended a rolled product that they had installed before that was intended for low slopes. They also framed rafter extensions to increase my overhang that was previously lacking. All of the work was performed while my animals (Donkey, goats, and chickens) were in the barns and surrounding pens. All work was thoroughly cleaned up each day, and all material and debris was kept clear from the animals. This work was performed a couple of years ago now, and all workmanship has held up great so far. I greatly appreciate their efforts in keeping my animals safe from the debris created during the project and the quality of the workmanship. They are a great company to work with! read more

Contacted Four Seasons about some problems we were having with our chimney draft, causing smoke to blow out of our fireplace and into the living room on windy days. After not getting responses from several other companies (and an outrageous quote from another), got in touch with Four Seasons by email and they were fantastic. They were great about communicating by email, which I appreciate. Garrett came out and assess the situation, came up with a plan to fix the draft problem, and was able to track down a piece of chimney pipe to match my old stove in just a few days. He was straight-forward and friendly, and finished the job for the quoted price (hundreds of dollars less than the other quote I received). Great service. I'd had water seepage through the brick and had someone come out and tell me the chimney needed a complete tear down and rebuild. I'm glad I got a second opinion from Four Seasons - they came out quickly, agreed that the type of brick used was porous, but recommended applying a waterproofing treatment and fixing flashing at the top that had pulled away. On the day of the job, they came out and met me and were friendly and knowledgeable, got the work done with no mess at all and then made sure to let me know when they'd finished, what I could expect, and to call them with any issues. They even gave me some tips on how I could best clean the interior fireplace where the efflorescence was staining the brick, and some ideas for potentially switching to a gas insert. I needed my entire roof replaced (main roof plus two porches) as well as 40 feet of gutters across the front because a tree landed on the house following the windstorm in early August. The estimate from Four Seasons was a full $3000 lower than a competing bid for the same work. Four Seasons replaced both my roof and chimney and I can't say enough about how professional they were and how well the job turned out. When the left you would never know that the work had been done as the left everything clean and exactly the way it was before the work was done. A couple of years later I needed the roof on my gazebo replaced which because of the angles on the hexagonal was no easy task but they were able to handle the job with no problem with the same great result as before.
