Our first week he set up a group access on the notes app. As I found different interests in lighting, tile, flooring, etc. I'd add links to the notes. He'd make important observations and suggestions helping me before I made purchase commitments. This saved so much time and allowed for quick communication. Was a brilliant idea. Liron also works closely with Maya, a truly incredible Forperson. She really, really knows her stuff. No nonsense, get it done. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. He responded back that it's between $300 and $450 a square foot. So I told him, "Okay, if my calculations are correct, if I go with $350 a square foot so I'm not at the rock bottom, and I multiply that by 600 sq ft for a small ADU, that is roughly $210K for a price starting point with your company?" "Well no it's not exactly... "Then what did I miss?" "Well there's all sorts of other things blah blah blah..." Overall the tone was condescending and he made it clear that I didn't know what I was talking about, when in fact I have 15 years experience as a home designer that designs and budgets facelifts on houses that are about to go up for sale. The new stairs also came out beautiful and solid. Benny used quality paint that exceeded the one that I specified as a minimum standard. Along the entire process Benny was on top of communicating the status and responding to my questions. There were a couple of issues that came up and Benny took care of them promptly and to my satisfaction. I enjoyed working with BK and would use him again.
