Bad communication and was rude in front of the entire store. I texted on facebook and they told me they had an opening, I texted back responding with that works. Showed up for my appointment and they told me I didn't have an appointment. Didn't apologize for the miscommunication on their part and told me I needed to call next time. They made it seem like it was my fault for their issues. read more

I paid $80 for basic French tip nails and they didn't even last 3 days I don't recommend this shop

Just horrible! I paid $62 for a pedicure. Made sure to tell the lady that I have ingrown toe nails. I thought she finished pretty quickly but thought she knew what she was doing. Fast forward to Thursday when I felt pain in my toes and knew immediately that she had not removed them. I had to work all week plus the weekend so I was not able to go back until today 7/17/23. I explained the situation and was still charged $20 more to have someone else remove what should have already been removed. What ever happened to good customer service? I told them I would not be returning but I don't think they care about the customer just the money! Thank you Ni (or Ne) for ignoring me. You are so rude!! read more

0 stars actually. We went here for a girls afternoon, and I knew they had several nail techs to take us all close together. Never again. Go to Mindy's across the street! Much nicer, and they aren't into torturing. I had my kids natural. I'm not a big baby. It's the principle! My real nails were overgrown under the acrylic fill so the man said he would fix them. He proceeded to rip the artificial nails off one by one and truly looking like he was enjoying that he was inflicting pain on me. The price was more to fill and use my real nails as a base then it was for my sister in law to get full new set with cat eye paint. Prices are made up as they go. Tried this place twice, would rather give my money to good people like Mindy and Jessie! read more

I requested the 45$ pedicure, I got robbed. This girl did not scrub my feet with lavender scrub. She skipped that step. All she did was talk to the employee next to her. My treatment was poor. At checkout I told her she skipped my scrub she instantly became escalated. I let it go I wasn't about to argue for 5$. On the slip she wrote Ni. Don't know if that's her name but she was worthless and a liar! read more

My First time to the Salon coming from California. The manicure lasted 20 min. & my manicurist was rude when I told her the water was too hot for my hands & the remainder of the time in the salon. I couldn't believe that all the other customers were offered a drink and I wasn't, maybe because of the time spent... I don't know. Had called in advance to schedule a time for me to go in get there the place was busy so i literally had to sit there 10-15 min before someone got to me .. Then they rushed the job fml..i understand your busy but you still need to do a great job on the customer you are working with at the moment.. You could have had a better tip. read more

According to my friends who arrived at the salon before me, the nail artists were openly complaining about me, despite the fact that I called ahead of time to let the staff know I was late to my appointment AND asked if they still had enough time for me, or if they needed me reschedule - the employee who answered the phone stated they had enough time for me. I received a mani/pedi and stated quite clearly that I wanted one single color for both my fingers and toes (a brown/dark nude). However, the technician (who, by the way, provided both services - mani and pedi - to me) painted my toes the correct color (brown) but my fingers white. At no point in time did I ever mention white while I was at the salon. While she was painting my fingers, my friend had asked me if I chose white, and - because (1)I don't frequently get manicures/go to nail salons and (2)the technician did not communicate well with me - I responded "no, the white must be a base, and she's going to put the brown on top." I definitely said it loud enough for the technician to hear, yet she did not say a word or skip a beat and continued to paint my fingers the wrong color. I only became certain that she was definitely not going to use brown when she began putting the clear coat on. At this point, it was 6:30PM, so she had another hour until the office closed (according to the stated hours KN has on its site), but the staff rushed me and my friends out of the building. They rushed me to the point of asking for me to pay when the technician was JUST starting on my fingers - more to the point, both hands were wet, yet they expected me to dig through my purse to get my wallet and then also sign the credit card receipt. Despite these disappointments, I paid the total $80 AND provided the employee with a good tip (more than 20%). Usually the experiences I have at this salon are good/adequate, however I do feel the staff often rushes through the services and don't take the time to ask questions (e.g. "what shape/length do you want the nails?," "is this the shape/length you want?"). If you don't specify to them about the shape, for example, many of them will often just assume and file the shape they want. It was especially frustrating when I first went to the salon, as I had no idea what anything was or how anything worked, though I did research a bit prior to going. I still did not really know what gel was, which nail palettes were gel/no-chip vs dip vs regular polish, what "full set" meant, etc. I felt naive and did not receive any help or guidance from the staff. At the end of my first appt there, I just chalked it up to the fact that I "didn't research enough." However, I now recognize that I should have been provided guidance or assistance from the staff. If they do not have the time during their day to spread out appts in order to provide that help/guidance and not rush the patrons, then they need to offer more descriptive pamphlets or "menus", place obvious labels around/on the nail palettes, etc. read more

they listened to my request of short nails but they painted them unevenly. My nails have weird lines and patches indented into them and dust or something painted into the nail. I appreciate that they had chrome powders to keep up with new trends but having a good collection doesn't mean they're any good at painting nails. I will not be coming back here ever again. To start, they were rude. My mom, sister and I walk in and they made us wait when I had already made an appointment 5 hours before for all 3 of us. They rush us to pick a color, then while my sister and I are waiting by the nail polish, the worker tells us to sit down. And I continue to stand because I wasn't done, and then I'm reading the pan flit they had and another worker comes to try and sit me down. I was not done! I was being nice, people like this SHOULDNT have a salon or business. I did not get my nails done here and I will never get them done. I could keep going but that's too much. read more

Kevin and his family are awesome people and they care about quality services and customer service. They make you feel welcome and treat you like a friend. I really enjoy that about coming here and it's a very great addition to the Morris area as far as spas go. Pedicures are absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. They really take good care of their customers and are on the cutting edge of what's "in" when it comes to nail art and designs. Love this place. read more

I usually never post reviews because I just figure if I'm not satisfied, I just take my business elsewhere. I first went to this Salon May of 2022 at 37 weeks pregnant wanting to get a mani/pedi before the baby arrived. Let's just say the pedicure I got left me feeling like I could have done a better job at my feet and I couldn't even reach them at that time that's how dissatisfied I was. Manicure was so quick and no attention to detail by either techs. My husband gifted me a gift certificate ( he didn't remember the name of the place I told him I didn't like ‍) so I decided to give them another chance since he spent the money already. Once again I was totally dissatisfied but didn't want to cause an issue. I got a full set this time around and I couldn't believe that no care for cuticles was provided. Spent $53 for the set and simple color and left with dry, over grown cuticles. Then the pedicure. I watched the tech as he used little to no effort on getting any dead skin off of my heel. I told myself that if he just went to nail polish next, I was not going to stay quite. Sure enough he dried my feet off and was about to paint my toenails and I showed him how my heels looked no better than when I sat down. Let's just say this time around he had to actually do the job and make them smooth. All in all with the 2 times I've been there, I couldn't possibly recommend this place to anyone. It could just be my bad luck both times with the techs I got but I had service from a total of 4 different people there and none of them were worth the money. read more

My wife called and scheduled an appointment for 6:30 pm and arrived 10 minutes early for her scheduled time slot. She was told by the owner that they closed at 6:00 pm this evening and he was sorry. But wait, he was the one who scheduled her appointment for 6:30! He again apologized and instead of making it right by fulfilling his commitment to her appointment, he lied and said he tried to call her. We checked, nope, no phone calls from KN Nails today.... Any good business owner knows that when you make a mistake, you make it right. Even if it means you stay over to keep a customer. Anyway, Mindy's Nails in Morris now has a new customer. read more

Trina is super good!!!!! I went in for gel nails and a pedi and came out with the perfect set! The gel lasted for 3 weeks without a single chip. I got a basic pedi but she took her time and I got a really nice foot rub. She took her time, with great precision throughout the whole appointment. Price is similar to most other salons in this area but I got 15% off for my first time (with a little bottle of lotion as a welcome gift) and they give you a card to check off every time you come in, and on the 10th time you get another 15% off, which is pretty sweet. The place is very nice too, they're quite new in town and the ambiance is nice and relaxing. Overall, great experience, I'll definitely be back!! read more
