Then our manicures began, my friend chose a regular manicure and I chose a no chip. These seemed rushed as the salon was getting busier and there was no on else working. My friends regular manicure looked great except for some uneven strokes across the nails. My no chip wasn't done with much care or consideration. The nail polish was applied in uneven coats, thin layers, rushed curing under the lights, and very rough work around the cuticles. I would not return back to the salon based on my experience with the no chip. I am used to the no chips lasting at least 2 weeks, this has already begun to chip. I wasn't asking for any over-the-top design; I just wanted a clean look. The first technician not only neglected to ask if I wanted my nails trimmed down, but also barely filed them. Therefore, one could see my prior French tips. Then he started the French. He got so frustrated with the design that he asked me to just pick a color; I should have just done that. Instead, another technician took over and attempted to do the French style. She even pointed out to another technician the poor job, and told me she would fix it- BUT SHE DIDN'T. Worse, I left with white smudging that I had to remove myself when I got home that she neglected to fix from her own work. So, so disappointed. The tips are thick, the fill is sloppy, and I'm out 60.00, because I know these won't last. And I thought there was a discount for paying cash: NOPE! So, the sign they have on their counter is false.

Everyone is always very friendly and I can tell they go above and beyond making sure their customers are happy. With so many negative reviews, it leads me to believe some people just cannot be pleased no matter where they go. I highly recommend them as your place to get your nails done. If you have a negative experience, give them a chance to make it right as I am sure they will make every effort to remedy the bad experience. I have posted an additional picture of my most recent dip powder French manicure I had done this morning as proof they do hr I have been here several times now and each time I have gotten great service and my nails came out looking great! I have gotten pedicures with no chip, manicures with no chip, acrylics, and dipping powder. I have found I personally prefer the dipping powder as it seems to last the longest for me while keeping my nails underneath very healthy still. I have gone a couple times and had to wait 20-25 mins but it was very busy. Even with that being said, the technicians who did my nails on those days took their time and did a great job. I am very happy with luxe nails and will continue going there. It isn't cheap, but you pay for the quality you are getting. You can probably find a less expensive nail salon, but you are probably risking issues like poor quality or unsanitary conditions. All the work that has been done for me the technicians have always gotten brand new sterilized still in packaging tools to use on me. I have never seen the salon dirty and see the employees there cleaning all of the time to keep it near even during busy times. I also like that they have baked goods, coffee, and water to enjoy while you wait. I definitely recommend luxe nails!

It was extremely crowded for a weekday morning, but I decided to wait. A male nail tech greeted me and said the wait would be about 25 minutes. I picked the colors I preferred and took a seat. The wait was about 30 minutes, just like I was told. The front area of the salon felt cramped because it was so crowded, but it was reasonably comfortable and quiet. Most of the customers appeared to be middle-aged housewife types and/or college-aged kids. All the nail techs were polite, but most of them didn't seem eager to engage with customers, which is fine. Anyway, the male tech that initially greeted me eventually told me I could go to the back. A sweet young lady ended up working with me. I don't recall her name, but she appeared to be younger. She did a nice job on my nails. She did my pedicure first, and when it was time to do my manicure, we couldn't find the color I'd selected. Someone had picked it up and walked off with it, so I ended up having to pick another color. The nail tools that were used were sterilized, and the salon appeared to be clean. The manicure and pedicure cost $55, which is fairly reasonable. I didn't have any cash on me, so I was able to tip my nail tech via Zelle. I tip generously when the service is good, so I sent her $20. The young lady took her time, and the service didn't feel rushed, which was appreciated. I'd definitely return to TLC Nails in the future.
