I texted, but received a text back saying that I was probably looking for the person's son, and should text this other number. I texted the other number, and after some back and forth, Mike (or Mike's son? I'm really not sure) he described what he believed the dryer's problem to be, quoted a price, and we scheduled an appointment. The communication/scheduling process was quite strange and overly complex. However, he was prompt, worked quickly and efficiently, and was very kind and considerate. The dryer's working again! He said that he would text me a payment link at some vague time in the future, which was once again strange. I mean it certainly worked out, but it's an odd, disorganized way to conduct business. Really odd to be on two extreme ends of the service spectrum like that.

We are now in September 2026 and A1 appliance is unable to locate the receipt for the purchase in order for us to submit it to GE for a refund. They "have no record of the purchase." We have waited more than a week now and have received no word from A1. In the meantime, we have a repair company coming, and we have to pay a diagnostic fee. Would simply like A1 to stand by this product and repair it, but it is very difficult to get A1 as their business hours are extremely limited and when I could reach them, their ability to respond to concerns and needs seems almost nil at this point. They have not been responsive in standing by their product or work. Would never do business with this company again. There is no "deal" here unless you receive a new appliance from them that has no problems.
