Probably a good place if you're an Upper local. If not, you're invisible. Waited almost two hours for a to-go fish order. Ended up it was sitting on the counter for 30-40 minutes. Everything was soggy and tasteless, threw it all out. Would not recommend that crap to my worst enemy. $50.00 wasted. Never even suggested cooking up a fresh meal. I sat there with less than a half inch of beer in my glass, NO ONE bothered to ask if I needed another. Just taking care of their buddies, guess they don't need any new business. read more

Erggggg. The potential is huge however.... The bartender lady (mel i think) took our food order while we were having our first round. Welp turns out she completely forgot to put it in and keep in mind we waited for at least 30 minutes. So we paid for our drinks and apps and left. I'm sure we would've enjoyed what we ordered but we didn't have the time to stick around and wait an extra 30 minutes. A sad ending to what we're hoping was going to be our new favorite place ! :( maybe one day we will try again! read more

Ordered a mushroom pepperoni and sausage calzone. 1st one came with raw sausage in it and like 4 times to much cheese. Sent it back and ordered a new one. literally watched the supposed cook microwave the sausage before putting it in the calzone. This person cooking there needs to be fired before someone gets sick . They have a beautiful wood fired oven that he clearly does not know how to use.Cheese is an ingredient not the main part of a calzone. Cooks like this send people to the hospital. read more

We recently discovered this place and so glad we did! We have been twice on the all you can eat wing nights on Wednesdays. The wings are small, but the sauces are great and the wings aren't fatty and have little to no waste. Definitely will be back to further explore the menu. The only knock I can say is that service is poor. Especially on wing Wednesdays. There is only 1 person on "wing duty" and this is not nearly enough for the amount of people and wings that are ordered on a night like this. It's all you can eat, but it takes about 40 minutes to an hour to get a single order. Neat atmosphere with the large patio. Will be back! read more

Grew up in this area and had very favorable memories of meals at the Night Owl. Was visiting the area and went to the Night Owl for Friday fish fry. When we arrived we were told that there was a 30 minute wait for food. We sat and had drinks at one of the 5 tables that were open. Ours drink and food order was made shortly after being seated. After two rounds of drinks and one hour of sitting we asked the server how much longer our food would be. She checked with the kitchen and came back and told us it would be another hour for our food to be served. Given this, we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. As we were paying our drink tab, the owner approached and asked what our problem was. When we shared our disappointment with the length of time (2 hours) it was taking to get our food order, he explained that the kitchen was busy. We told him that 2 hours was too long to wait, he became belligerent and swore at us. We told him we would not be back and he said that was "great." Not a good evening out and made worse by a rude owner. read more

Went here for Fish Fry last week. Had a little bit of a wait but not too bad, I ordered the Italian pork sandwich and wanted tots but got fries but it actually worked out well because my sandwich was huge. It was shreddd pork and very comparable to a pork sandwich from Philly. Very good. Fish was all so good and tasted very fresh. read more

I ordered a cod dinner and an app. The bill came out 30.00 it tacked on a $5 delivery charge. This charge goes straight back to the bar. So if you want to leave a tip it will be on top of the $5 delivery charge. It ends being a large % of the overall food charge. Not again, they clearly don't care about employees! read more

We had the worst dining experience in a long time at this establishment this evening. Four of us stopped in for dinner and it took two hours to get three sandwiches and a salad. Our appetizer came with the meal. The other couple we were dining with received their dinner 20 minutes prior to us receiving ours and the waitress did not seem to think it was an issue. We started ordering drinks two at a time due to the inattentiveness of the waitress. Considering it was a Monday evening we were one of two tables and there were a few sitting at the bar that received their drinks and food well before ours, even though they came in much later than us. When we inquired about the whereabouts of our food and asked for our order to just be cancelled if the chef hadn't begun the order, the waitress seemed disgruntled. We were offered no apology for the late food and nothing was worth the wait. It was an overall horrible end to our evening with terrible hospitality and service. read more
