Simple but perfect. We needed one night to stay while passing though and I was pleasantly surprised especially for the affordable price we paid. It had everything we needed for our short stay. It was very clean and even smelled clean, no scent of smoke from other rooms. The rooms are spacious and have a good atmosphere to them. The beds are comfortable and the staff is kind and accommodating. Breakfast is simply cereal but we didn't need much more. I'd definitely stay there again and recommend this place to others. read more

Stayed here last night of our vacation so low on funds. This place really is run down, toilet ran on and off all night, beds/ mattress very old, and no smoke detector in room! Free breakfast was cold cereal, toast, and coffee. Let girl at desk know at check out about toilet and either she did not understand or did not care. read more

Do not give this management the time of day, just as they treated us. It was late, we were getting tired and thought we could make it to Wendover. We called this hotel and made a reservation. The man we talked to (his name is Nick, apparently) was very short with us, took my card number and hung up the phone. No confirmation number, no policy explanation, nothing...just hung up. When we realized it was going to take us much longer to get there than expected and we were already super tired, we opted to stay in SLC. We called the hotel to ask if we could cancel. The man we spoke with (same as before) said there was no cancellation fee. We said we'd like to cancel. He said "okay" and hung up the phone. With less than stellar cell service, it was tough to call back. Later that night when we got to our hotel in SLC I noticed a charge on my account for the hotel room at Knights Inn. Deathly tired, I decided to wait until morning to try and call. Come morning, I called and the same man was there. I kindly asked him about the charge and that he told us there was no cancellation fee. He kept rudely interrupting me telling me "I'm not going to give you refund". I stopped trying and called Wyndham to see if they could help. They had no record of our reservation existing in the first place, so there was nothing they could do. When I spoke with the man that morning (Friday), he said the manager would be in on Monday. I called Monday to speak with the manager and lo and behold, the same guy. I asked him to speak with the manager. Naturally, the manager wasn't there. I said that I was previously told that the manager would be there today, so I asked when the manager would be in. His response was simply, "I don't know". I asked if there was another number or something I could call to get in touch with manager. His response was, "no". With Wyndham having no record, I had to dispute the charge with my bank. I've contacted Wyndham and requested they contact me about the matter. I hope you don't go through the same issues :( read more

For $46, you get what you pay for. The room was clean, and the staff was efficient, but those are the only positive things I can say. Sheets were threadbare, pillows were flat, tv was broken, and the walls are made from paper. read more

There should be a "0 stars" option. Yes, the price is good but I am disgusted. The walls are dirty, the floors have stains and have clearly not been vacuumed in the past month. The sheets are threadbare and there is substantial dirt on the bathroom floor. The shower has a grey, streaky film in it. A previous guest apparently chose to use the bathroom door as a place to practice their punching skills. Gross and undesirable all around. read more

Man....giving zero stars doesn't even cut it. I know you get what you pay for and I agree 100percent! It's unfortunate that my stay fell on a weekend in Wendover with absolutely no other availability . Sucks for me. Idk, pay a cheap ish rate or sleep in my car that I know is clean, safe, and probably more comfortable! The place is sketch for sure, not clean by any stretch of the imagination. I literally have one thread barren towel for 2 people to use??, the toilet paper on the roll is covered In idk what, trash on the bathroom floor, pretty sure the carpet hasn't been vacuumed, dear God I can't even tell you the condition of the bed linens themselves. Someone else's hair, black soiled spots, not stains, gross like linens weren't changed. I'm not sleeping in this dive. Basically just not sleeping for a cheap only room left rate. My window doesn't even lock, ok?? It's just insane. When it's the only thing left in Wendover, DON'T DO IT!! The pictures online are totally misleading. The age old saying "you getting what you pay for" certainly applies here. Arriving at this hotel didn't provide any assurance I'd be safe. Very sketchy!! It looked abandoned from first glance. If I hadn't seen the faint glow of a tv from the lobby I wouldn't shave known. U Parked to get the stare down from bikers at the next door hotel. Ya screamed it's safe. But as I already made the reservation I tried to keep a open mind. And I was in a great mood from the drive from California. Even though the lobbyist guy looked a bit sketchy he was nice at least. Granted no attempt at small talk which didn't ease the mind. So checked in and well the room "suite" was a dump. Got hit by a wall of smoke residue. EVERYTHING in the room reeked of cigarette smoke. Lots of mystery stains on the walls that looked permanent. Everything just looked old and not taken care of for many years. Tub was old yellow stained from many years of use. read more

Stayed here late Aug 2013 en route to Burning Man. Price was great (35 during week), room was clean (1 iron burn on floor was not big deal) and staff was friendly. Complimentary breakfast in the morning. We liked it so much we stayed there on the way back too. It's not the Ritz and you should ask to see the room before you check in ( that's at any hotel, you are not being a pain and if they don't want to show you any rooms, don't stay there) but it was decent for the price. read more

My visit to this place was horrible the place is filthy there were bedbugs in the beds and the guy at the front desk was no help then we just slept in the car until morning and I just went to the best western plus. If I could give this place no stars I would just stay away from this place as it has bedbugs and they never keep anything clean just go to the best western plus 3 block down. If I could if I could give this place no stars I would. The knights inn has horrible service to stay here and always check the reviews before going anywhere as they could help you choose. read more

The lights didn't work (had to ask the clerk to come and "fix" them...apparently they were all left unplugged but were hard to access.) The bed wasn't very comfortable and there was a bedspread doubled as a blanket with obvious holes in it. Didn't stay there on our return trip....kept driving to Wells, NV The "continental breakfast" was BARE minimum, but what can you expect for off season rate of $50.? The room smelled like smoke and the carpets were stained, woodwork was chipped, needed patching and painting. It's not that much further to Wells, if you're going West.......keep going, don't even slow down. read more

I needed a room in Wendover on a Saturday night in November, but the hotels were nearly full. I had a choice of paying a lot at a top-end casino or looking on the Utah side of the State Line for a cheaper room. I should have spent the extra money at a casino, or just kept driving to Wells or Elko. Once I checked into the Knights Inn and entered the room I was overwhelmed by an intense odor from carpet cleaner and air freshener. The room was so dirty I put all my bags on top of the table and a chest of drawers to avoid having any bugs get into them. I also couldn't see real well since only two lights worked in the room, but there was enough light to see that the bathroom was filthy, and there was what appeared to be a bullet hole in the sink. Outside in the parking lot there were three young men drinking and smoking something. The whole experience made it feel even more like I was in a cheap motel on the wrong side of town. At that point all I really wanted to do was to eat dinner, and then get some sleep, When I returned from dinner my clothes went on top the chest of drawers and I wore my socks to bed. Although I was dead tired I didn't sleep well, and after waking up at dawn there was a deep relief in knowing that I would soon leave that place. I took my shower immediately after waking, and once dry I dressed standing up. I had put my dirty socks back on after the shower to avoid walking on the carpet, and those socks were discarded in the trash when new socks were pulled on, my feet going directly into loosely fitting and unlaced shoes. I grabbed my bags and left the room as quickly as I could, tied the laces on my shoes when safely in the car. I am sure there are cleaner rooms at the Knights Inn. At least I hope there are. However, I will never stay there again to find out. And unless someone is looking for a unique experience and a challenging night in a dirty room, it''s a good idea to stay someplace else. read more

Our room was pretty dirty, toilet wasn't cleaned. The breakfast is just a bowl of cereal with non refrigerated milk and terrible juice. Cheapest price we could find, but I would pay a little more to not stay here again. Would not return. read more

It ain't the Ritz, but it's a perfect place to stop and rest. Border of Utah/Nevada pretty cool! Very friendly, reasonable, comfortable beds, welcomed our dogs, & the Montego Bay Casino close by has a great buffet. read more

$70 ... Adequate at best. The bed was fine, but generally the room was bare bones and not very clean.

Stayed here in December a few years back, 20 degrees outside. No heat in the room and no hot water. They moved us to another room since we complained of no heat, that room had no heat either. Creepiest place I've ever stayed in, left ASAP to go to McDonalds so we could warm up before heading out. Still call it the Bates Motel when we remember this road trip. read more

This is the most disgusting, dirty, moldy, hotel I have ever tried to stay out. It was so bad I couldn't stay and when I asked for a refund, they refused because I had "checked in" and it was past the cancellation time frame. I booked this through Hotels-Rates.com and they were not helpful either. "Lost" or couldn't find my reservation even though I have 2 emails from them with all their phone numbers, etc. And, Wyndham will not stand behind this either. They tell me I have to go through Hotels-Rates.com in order to try and get any refund and Hotels-Rates.com told me when I called them the same day I was at this hotel that unless the property agrees to refund the charge, there is nothing they can do about it either. This hotel should be condemned! Worst hotel and worst service ever. I will also never stay in any Wyndham hotel. I have pictures if anyone would like to see them. read more
