I drop off my mower on 04/03/2025 to be repair. I call 2 weeks later to be told the guy is working on a few and mine is included check the next week. I went by about 2 weeks later and to check to see if it was ready. The guy said it wasn't ready. I ask for my mower to be given to me so i can take with me. The guys stated they have someone off site repair their lawn. I left and just purchase me a little mower. I received a call on 04/28/2025 saying the mower is ready. I went to pick up my mower to be tell it would cost 111. and some change because of the manufacturer will not cover bad gas. The same lady didn't tell me this at first. She said you want to take a repair lawn mower for nothing. I said i didn't expect to have to pay because you file with the manufacturer warranty. I said you guy will have to sell then. She stated we will use it for scrap. The lawn mower is repair so they want use this for scrap. They are going to sell it. I'm pretty sure I'm not the first customer they did this to.

It would be 6-8 weeks before I got back. I said that was unacceptable so we packed up the mower and went t lunch. Driving home on Skidaway my wife noticed a Torro Dealer Shop by the name of Lawn Mower Store. We stopped and had a discussion with a knowledgeable young clerk that assured us they could fix it and it would most likely only be a few days. Two days later we got the call that it was done. They did quite a bit of work. Put in a new air filter (I had cleaned the old one), replaced a jet on the fuel line, and sharpened the blade. Altogether, it was $70. A little pricey but it runs great like it did 1 year ago. I might still look for a closer to home person that can do small engine and mower repair but this shop knows their stuff.
