After searching through the aforementioned boxes and turning up empty handed it was time for Plan B: Find someplace to buy a new cartridge before my boss lost his shit and fired me. This NECS is located on the first floor of our new building so it was obviously the first place I tried. When I walked in I thought they were closed because there was nobody in sight but someone popped up behind a wall and came over to help me. He was on a cell phone call and seemed a little annoyed that I was there which irritated me.... but anyway.... I told him my office had just moved and blah blah fax blah blah toner and so on... He had absolutely no idea what I was talking about but found someone else to help me. Jerry. Oh Jerry. I told him my problem and although they don't actually carry products like toner he was more than happy to help. I think he could tell that I was desperate and clueless. He googled office supply places in the immediate area AND called multiple locations to see if they had the toner I needed in stock. Unfortunately I left empty handed but I will always remember how nice and helpful Jerry was.

The store was remarkable in the sense it is smaller yet almost every office set up you might want seems to be on display. We quickly settled on an L shaped configuration ac matching cabinet and well beneath our "guess" at the price. Two things that stand out. We paid for delivery and set up. It arrived on time and could not have asked for more professional a gentleman doing the installation. I had a minor defect ( from manufacturer-they would not have known) on the cabinet. Hard to see unless you are looking specifically for it. I texted Jake at the store, sent a picture and within minutes I had a response saying the part was on its way-that simple. It came in about 3days. Perfect response from a business. I am so impressed I will had Joe's to the list we have of business's we provide to the residents of our association. Very poor customer service.....I needed a replacement pneumatic cylinder for a Steelcase office…read morechair which was sinking. I provided the service person with a picture of the tag showing make, model, SN of the chair to identify the correct part. After the part arrived and I installed it, the chair still was sinking. I contacted Red Thread with the issue and they suggested having a technician come out to look at the problem for which I was charged $153.00 for a service call. The technician determined that the problem was that the replacement pneumatic cylinder Red Thread had sent me was faulty. I requested that either the fee for the service call be refunded (since it would have been unnecessary to have a technician come out had the correct part been supplied in the first place) or the cost of the defective cylinder they had supplied be refunded. They ignored all of my emails.
