Sadly my Mother died in a matter of weeks of becoming ill with Covid-19. Once my Mother's death was near I reached out to David Griffin to see what type of arrangements were being held at this strange time, since everything was shut down. David was so comforting to talk with and understanding of our situation (which also included my parents pre-arranging & paying for their funeral ahead of time at a different firm). David assured me he would make every accommodation he could to honor what was done with the other firm. About a week later my mother passed peacefully in her sleep. We called Griffin Funeral Home early in the morning to make arrangements to bring my mother into their care. The person who answered the phone was extremely pleasant and transferred us to Larry Griffin. Larry assured us Mom would be brought into their care within an hour. We made arrangements with Mary Bartlett over the phone later in the day and scheduled a time to come in and finalize things on Monday. Mary was exceedingly kind, compassionate and helpful during our meeting. We scheduled the Funeral for Friday Morning with my mother being buried after. My Mother looked beautiful. The Funeral Home was spotlessly clean and comfortable. The Staff all kind and comforting. Larry Griffin handled our service on Friday and was very personable and professional, David Griffin made a special trip to come by and greet us, Mary Bartlett did an amazing job coordinating the service and details and Barbara in the office helped answer mine and my father's many questions. Everything was handled perfectly and is much appreciated. I could not think of anything more they could have done! Thank You just seems to little for all you did.

Now when they cut the grass in certain sections they leave all that grass they mow out there and do not rake it up. I noticed it in baby land. Those are babies out there with headstone you have to dig to find them under all that grass. I don't know when they started getting so lazy with the lawn care. I am so disgusted with this cemetery now. Also, every year my veterans relatives NEVER have a flag. Every other veteran I saw out there had them but not my family members. I always have to ask for one. This year I ask for 2 to place in my veteran family member graves and was told they only have 1. I took one from outside the front of their office that was on display. I was told if I come back Sunday they will have more. My response was I am here today not tomorrow. If you can take your love ones elsewhere do so. This cemetery is garbage now! I am thinking about reaching out to the news station to show them the pictures I have with their crappy lawn care.
