Eugene did excellent job, he actually listen to me to understand what I came for. He did great relaxing warm up and worked every single tense muscle in my body. I had my massage done at his home studio in Burbank and it was very clean. It's been very difficult for me to find a good massage and someone that will actually get my knots out. I moved to Chicago in 2000 and started a temp job at The Chicago School of Massage Therapy. A highly regarded professional training center at that time. I really thought I'd go into the profession myself, but I can't lie, I feared having to touch unclean bodies. Anyway, I've reviewed many massages here in my Yelp account and I've found myself at 5 stars today. Chris Kriya's services felt different than what I've experienced before. I do have a regular guy here in Vegas that provides me with deep tissue. I also visit Aria and work with someone there that I've seen for probably 5 years now. I also have a home in Guadalajara and have a girl that is my go to each time. When I travel, a massage is always on my list. I had a 2 hour massage at Me Hotel in Cabo San Lucas about 2 weeks ago. I know massages. Chris allowed me to express my pain. That's really the only way I can describe it. Normally, I'm extremely quiet because it's seen as inappropriate to make noises while someone is massaging you. I would say that there's an unwritten etiquette around the service where you are either talking or extremely quiet and expected to not express yourself. I'm a trauma informed somatic practitioner. Helping my clients to use their voice and express their traumas through their body is important for their healing. Read the book, "The Body Keeps The Score", for the best details on this. Having my own experience where stored pain was being released and having the opportunity to breathe deeply and release with sound was magical for me. I know I have stored trauma and I do many things to release it. Blending something that I use often for relaxation and recovery with my own personal healing was quite a beautiful experience for me. I look forward to Chris' return trips to Vegas so that I may continue my personal healing journey, mind, body, and soul.
