Very well done desserts! Almost Everything we ordered…read moretasted great (and I'm very Familiar with desserts - just ask my waistline haha) : pecan bar, the bigger puff pastry with cream filling ( I don't recommend the smaller puff pastry which was dry from lack of cream filling) , mocha cake, and baklava. The only item that I would not reorder ever is the Turkish coffee. If you want strong and addictive coffee, try the Vietnamese coffees.

We ordered several different individual cakes online for pickup and while I appreciated the ease of…read moreonline ordering, I was disappointed to arrive and find out some weren't in stock. Specifically, the slice of tiramisu for the birthday boy wasn't available so in a haste, I ordered the full tiramisu in the display case. The tres leches I ordered wasn't in stock and was replaced by vanilla rolls. I read so many positive reviews, I assumed any cake should be good. Sadly, the vanilla roll was inedible. The cake part was dense and dry. It seemed like the type of cake they'd use for tres leches but of course, without the milk which made it taste really bad. The red velvet was equally dry and wasn't made with cream cheese frosting. It was bland and actually tasted like cheap ingredients. The worst part was the $30 tiramisu for birthday boy. It had the same dense and dry sponge cake and was nothing like traditional tiramisu. I was really embarrassed and we couldn't finish it. I don't write these reviews lightly but I was extremely disappointed, will not return, and will not recommend.

The host had organized everything with the staff. The store was kind enough to teach our class after store hours. Thank you staff you rock. They have candy mold, chocolate melts in many colors, cake toppers, an array of cookie cutters. I even bought bulk pretzel sticks. With the clear packaging I could see that the pretzels were in perfect condition none were cracked for the treats that I wanted to make for a Halloween camping event. Because I don't live in this area I made quite the purchase that included the tools to make the cake pops we made in class! The instructor and assistant, Danielle and Vivian were outstanding and patient with our group of ladies. We got to meet Wendy another team member of Pila's and also got to meet the wonder. Great customer service with each of them. I would love to take a look at some of the other classes they offer! I would definitely make the drive. The vibe in this store is awesome, yes I will be back. Oh, and they offer tasty and beautiful candied apples! I forgot to take pics. Trust me they're pretty delicious looking! We got one, but I had forgotten it. But I was told by some of the gals in the group that it was tasty.

In the past Pila, herself helped me out with a picture of a cake I had and let me know it was an image on edible transfer paper. I was amazed how she could tell just from the picture. Today I had another picture. Bev helped me with ideas on how to search images, then Marla came in, as Bev needed to help another customer, she had Marla take over. As I was asking my question Marla already knew that the picture was a layered picture. She worked her magic and got me the image I needed. My family and I stop here on our way in or out from Las Vegas for a little break and treat. We were…read moreso happy to see that Megan was still working here! She helped us out before and she does so much to ensure my youngest will be safe, since my youngest has severe egg and nut allergies. She recommended some of the fruit flavored soft chew candies, called medallions. They're like gummy candies. I was concerned that they had food coloring the moment I saw the bright colors, but much to my surprise they're all colored naturally, like with elderberry juice, grape juice, turmeric, and annatto extract. Megan was so kind to get some samples of those strawberry and fruit medallions for my youngest to try, and extra for my two older kids to try also. She made it a point to wash her hands and wear gloves and put the medallions on fresh pieces of wax paper to make sure there was no cross contamination at all from the other chocolates to the medallions. She goes above and beyond when it comes to allergy concerns!!! We ended up buying a bag of strawberry medallions and two bags of fruit medallions along with some chocolate for myself and an orange creamsicle pop, which I noticed on the ingredients would be safe for my daughter as well. Megan was also so patient and informative of what's in the chocolates and gave really great recommendations, too. She was so nice to let my two older kids try some samples and even recommended a chocolate I thought I wouldn't like that much, and I ended up really loving it! She knows everything about everything in that store! The store also has premade gift sets that are put together and set up really nicely, along with a huge tower of greeting cards, birthday cards, anniversary cards...really any type of card for any occasion! Everyone that was there was so nice and understanding of how kids can be... My two older kids thought it was fun to spin the tower of cards around when I was focusing on my youngest when she was getting curious with the treats that were displayed, and I quickly stopped my two older kids as soon as I noticed, but not once did any of the employees ever make me feel like we were being a nuisance with the kids. I feel like this is one of the best See's stores I have ever visited in my whole life, and I grew up going into handfuls of them because my mom is a fan of them. This store is clean, the displays are beautifully set up, the staff that I met there that day were really kind, and Megan is absolutely amazing, knowledgable, considerate, thoughtful-just overall the absolute best!!! Thank you so much!!

I needed to get my cookie fix so I stopped in to see what they have. When you walk in, there is a glass case full of cookies and things, and next to it are shelves that have little bags packaged with treats from the previous day at a discount. The store is small but cozy and has plenty of options. They can even make an ice cream sandwich with their cookies, too! Maybe another time; I just needed something small this time. I was offered a sample of something and chose the Rascal, which is a peanut butter chocolate cookie. That was delicious, so I ordered one and also grabbed one of their discounted treats from the previous day, which was a cranberry orange scone. This is one of my husband's favorite pastries so I was excited to get one for him. It was also delicious! Not at all dry like scones can sometimes be, and it was full of flavor. The woman who helped me was so sweet and so helpful (I'm sorry, I am so bad with names and cannot remember her name!) But I grabbed a business card and shared it at work with our client relations person who likes bringing treats to other people we work with. We will definitely come back, both personally and professionally! I'm always happy to support a small business, and this is a good one!

I'm excited to find a bakery that makes haupia treats, AND IT'S DELICIOUS!…read more This is not your typical bakery. They serve Filipino and Hawaiian influenced desserts and snacks. The way it works is you place your order online during the week and choose which weekend to pick up your order, Eastvale on Saturdays or Eastvale and West Covina on Sundays. They're closed during the week. It's not a storefront like I initially thought; it's a house! We ordered the Okinawan Sweet Potato Haupia Mac Nut Pie and the Kona Mud Pie. The haupia pie reminded me of the one my uncle used to make in Hawaii. It's very similar. It's a macadamia nut shortbread crust topped with the purple Okinawan Sweet potato, then another layer of the haupia on top! I can eat this entire pan by myself. I honestly don't want to share it. ;) The Kona Mud Pie should be called the Kona DREAM Pie! This was so good! It had just the right amount of coffee flavor, and the chocolate cookie crust really added to this dessert. Again, MINE! I don't want to share this one either! It's light and refreshing on a hot day if you eat it like an ice cream pie! The owners were so sweet and easy to work with. I highly recommend this bakery! It's truly a treat!
