Pila's Pantry is the place to come check out if you are into any kind of baking or candy making! I came here for a cake pop class with a group. The host had organized everything with the staff. The store was kind enough to teach our class after store hours. Thank you staff you rock. They have candy mold, chocolate melts in many colors, cake toppers, an array of cookie cutters. I even bought bulk pretzel sticks. With the clear packaging I could see that the pretzels were in perfect condition none were cracked for the treats that I wanted to make for a Halloween camping event. Because I don't live in this area I made quite the purchase that included the tools to make the cake pops we made in class! The instructor and assistant, Danielle and Vivian were outstanding and patient with our group of ladies. We got to meet Wendy another team member of Pila's and also got to meet the wonder. Great customer service with each of them. I would love to take a look at some of the other classes they offer! I would definitely make the drive. The vibe in this store is awesome, yes I will be back. Oh, and they offer tasty and beautiful candied apples! I forgot to take pics. Trust me they're pretty delicious looking! I can't give enough praise to Pila's Pantry Cake & Supply. All the staff are so very helpful each time I need help. In the past Pila, herself helped me out with a picture of a cake I had and let me know it was an image on edible transfer paper. I was amazed how she could tell just from the picture. Today I had another picture. Bev helped me with ideas on how to search images, then Marla came in, as Bev needed to help another customer, she had Marla take over. As I was asking my question Marla already knew that the picture was a layered picture. She worked her magic and got me the image I needed. Great service as far as ordering, pick up and presentation. I ordered cupcakes for a birthday party. The cupcakes were great, but the frosting tasted off- maybe because of the dye that they used- but my daughter said the frosting tasted like soap. I was finally able to go here to pick up some last minute items for our Halloween cookie decorating party during my lunch break. They had everything I needed and price was pretty reasonable! The employees were really helpful & after walking around, I noticed that there's plenty of things to get if you need it! A lot of different cookie cutters and molds/ boxes and cake stands. All the dyes and glitter you need! And of course, the variety of colors for chocolate melts! It's a bakers heaven. Haha Overall, this is basically part bakery and part shop and it's just nice and easy to find things. It's quiet once you enter, which is nice. Parking however is tight and on a hill but there's additional parking in the back. They also have caramel apples and cupcakes to purchase too! I couldn't resist and got 6 cupcakes! They had me by the coconuts! Haha All were delicious! Bonus is that they have a rewards program and you can enter your phone number to receive points each time you make a purchase and those points can be redeem for free items. Passed by this bakery/bakery shop on a whim and once inside we found a group of kids around a large counter top table busily making some treats! Turns out this shop provides classes where you learn to make various goodies. We signed our kids up (7 and 9) for their Christmas class. Each kid had their own work station set up with wax paper and a box of ingredients they would be using for each treat. They made 6 different holiday themed sweets made of Oreos, chocolate, and cupcakes. My kids had fun and loved it. Baker Paul was great with the kids and kept the pace moving along. He also had a keen eye on kids keeping their hands clean throughout the class! I was amazed how easy it was to put these great looking goodies together! They even decorated a grinch cupcake! We also ate the chocolate cupcake when we got home and it was fluffy and not overly sweet. Yummm! Took a chance and went with this place for my wedding. I'm picky but they did everything right. From the samples to the final product, I was happy with everything. I went with a few other vendors initially but other cakes were just dry and I was charged money for lackluster samples. Pila's did not charge me anything for samples and were very friendly every step of the way. I gave ideas about colors and the cake is so much more amazing than I imagined. My daughter wanted to have a cupcake decorating party here for her 10th birthday and it was amazing! Paul was absolutely wonderful. I called ahead and made reservations for 14 guests (maximum amount of guest). He was very helpful over the phone explaining the different types of things they could decorate such as cookies, apples, and cupcakes. He also sent a brief description of the class and tentative schedule of the party. My daughter wanted to decorate cupcakes only so he had 6 cupcakes ready for each guest in a cute container. We had enough time to eat before (we were able to bring our own food) and take pictures after. The sitting area isn't much room so I would recommend limiting the guest that aren't participating to less than 10. Paul was very patient, kind, and fun. The guests had a great time as well. We asked Pila to make our wedding cake and it was an absolutely amazing experience. They had us come in for a tasting, enjoyed every flavor and topping, but had to narrow it down to 3 layers, so we went with red velvet/creme cheese, a marble cake with rasperry filling and a vanilla cake with the srawberry.
