I was so relaxed he didn't bother me, ask to many questions. Not one tug or pain the entire time. I was literally so relaxed closing my eyes. When I was done my toes looked so beautiful. I'm not mad about how my nails came out, but the nail tech was just not very detail oriented. The polish would come out sloppy and uneven without her automatically fixing it. I would ask her to fix my nails, and she always did, which I appreciated. The equipment wasn't very clean. The nail filer had dust clumps on it and the clear top coat nail polish had black specks in it. The service here just wasn't great. My nails turned out great, but I expect more since I'm paying $55+ for my nails. read more

I wouldn't recommend this salon, especially if you're bringing a child. I took my 5 year old daughter with me for a manicure while I got a gel manicure and pedicure. From the start, the experience felt off. They sat my daughter facing away from me, which I was not comfortable with, and I couldn't easily see what was happening or check in with her. She was also discouraged from choosing the nail color she actually wanted. Afterward, she told me, "she wouldn't let me get the lighter purple that I wanted," which was really disappointing. It should be a fun experience for a child, not one where they feel pressured or ignored. While my nails were being done, my daughter's manicure was finished, but instead of bringing her back to me or checking in, the nail tech welcomed another client and left my daughter sitting alone in front of two fans for about 30 minutes. No one checked on her. It wasn't until I asked my own tech to go see what was going on that anyone responded. Even then, the original tech came back briefly, did a little more, and then sat her back in front of the fans again. In total, she was left waiting around for about 45 minutes, which is completely unacceptable for a young child. As for my own service, it was just as frustrating. My cuticles were handled so roughly that they actually started bleeding. After my nails were already painted, my tech used a tool around the cuticle area that I had never seen before, and it immediately made me concerned it would affect the polish. Sure enough, it did. Within two days, my thumb nail peeled an entire layer of gel off, exposing the layer underneath. The same thing started happening on other nails shortly after. I get my nails done regularly, and they typically last for weeks without any chipping or peeling, usually until I choose to change them or they grow out. I've never had a gel manicure fail this quickly. During my pedicure, the tech also kept bumping the lamp into my freshly painted toes. I would try to move back to avoid it, but he would just move the lamp closer and end up hitting them again. It felt careless and rushed. I paid $100 for this experience, and honestly, I don't understand how so much went wrong in one visit. Between the way my daughter was treated and the poor quality of my own services, I left feeling frustrated and disappointed. I won't be returning. read more

I always get regular polish, no acrylics or gel (it messes up my nails) so I seem to get the older gentlemen that seem not as experienced, where the younger guys working are more detailed. Place is new but not clean, table tops are dirty with nail debris and the polish used is thick and old. The workers smoke out back with the door open and the stagnant air fills the room as if you're in the cigarette lounge and not a salon. Perhaps I should have read the reviews as seems Kenny is the go to guy but the person I had did a poor job on the polish. I'll try another place in the future. read more

Service and pedicure was great. Done by Kenny. What I didn't like was some of the customers there. They stared up and down at my mom and I numerous times where I finally said something directly to them! I don't know if it was because we were speaking Spanish but that's when they would stare. I've been coming to this place since the previous owners and never had this issue. No issues with services or techs. read more

The man who gave me a manicure had cuts on his hands without bandages. The place is dirty and service slow. He will randomly stop working on your nails to speak with customers or employees. My main concern is that he had cuts in his hands which I didn't see until half way through getting my nails done. He can give someone germs that way. My nails don't look great either. read more

I've been coming here for years and continued after the new owners took over. The good: Music was nice and it looked clean. The bad: Had Mani/pedi. Very disappointed today. When I walked in, I was ignored at first - there were a lot of people - but no excuse. Finally, I asked when I should come back. The manicurist - one I've never had - didn't say anything when she came up to me when I was seated. The water was cold for hands and feet. One of the best parts is usually the arm massage - after my left arm (for about 15 seconds), I only briefly had my right hand massaged. My cuticles looked ragged on some fingers. She did spend about 4 minutes on her cell phone in the middle of my pedicure - hmmmm. There was only me and two others here - nobody waiting. So disappointed. I will come back and hope I get one of the other people who are awesome. How do you say, could I have someone else please. If not, sadly, I'll go elsewhere. The only other option is to make an appointment - just never know my schedule. I like to support our City. We shall see next time. read more
