They worked alongside the plumber so he could repair the pipe between removing old ductwork and putting in new ductwork. It wasn't a simple job because they had to remove some dropped ceiling in order to get the ductwork out and in. They also replaced some damaged conduit and replaced the ceiling and trim. Active Heating & Cooling came today because of a very loud buzzing noise coming from our Furnace…read more We selected Active because of their 5-star rating. Alan came today from Active and after troubleshooting the Furnace it was determined that the very loud buzzing noise was being created by too large of a filter, which was completely the wrong size and much too thick, which was causing the motor to overheat and causing the very loud buzzing. My neighbor installed the filter two weeks ago and installed the wrong size. Active Heating & Cooling solved the issue in 15 minutes today and did not even accept a service charge. The entire service call and solving the issue was done completely for free. They said they want long-term relationships and referrals and are not about making a quick buck.
