I've used this company many times for service. They are always fast and friendly and honest about whether the item is worth repairing. Recently my husband and I were shopping for a specific oven. Not only did they have it in stock, which no other store did, we were told it would take 3 months to get it from other larger stores, Koch's also had the same model 500 dollars less. Then, we saved because Koch's does not charge for delivery, take away and installation. Koch's also converted the gas to propane at no additional charge. We saved about 1000 dollars by supporting a local business and received excellent service. read more

We've never been disappointed by the service at Kochs Appliance. Our washer and dryer was from them years ago and everytime something was wrong, they'd be out in a jiffy to get things back up and running. Well, when the washer finally kicked the bucket, we knew it was time to just upgrade the pair of them. We called and spoke to them over the phone to let them know what we were looking for, went the same day to put down the deposit, they called that same day and said delivery would be the following day. They called within the timeframe to let us know they were on the way, got everything up and running and took the old ones away for us. They even gave us some pointers on the new equiment. I called Bosch Customer Service because my dishwasher is under warranty and is not working. They gave me Koch's TV and Appliance as a reference. First my husband called and they told him that they could not service it because we didn't buy it there. Their website says that they have excellent customer service and have been in business for many years, so I called and asked to speak to Kevin or Tim (owners) because of their kind business motto. The owner I talked to was completely RUDE, OBNOXIOUS, TALKED OVER ME THE WHOLE TIME, SEXIST, and SARCASTIC basically yelling at me and then asked to talk to my husband which proves how sexist he was. He then hung up on me so I called the Bosch Company and told them about my horrible, degrading experience. No one else should ever have to go through this treatment. I am following the lead of the several reviews by customers who posted before me. After buying a refrigerator, paying for it in full at time of delivery and then having it delivered piece meal, I had a technician who was rude to me during a follow up visit to complete installation. He had been here several times and each time he was less than cordial. Because of his behavior I called Whirlpool directly about the problem who, in turn, instructed me to call another company to come & look at the issues I was having. The manager of the second company as well as his technician couldn't have been nicer. The receptionist at this store (Koch's) asked that I have their technician come one more time so that they could help me work things out with Whirlpool. This same tech came and because I was and had been upset about this for quite some time suffering through several service calls, he picked up his bag and stormed out. I called the store asking to talk with the manager and was told he would call me. It's been a week today, no call. I called to check on what was going on and this time, the woman who answered the phone (who also knew how upset I've been through all of this) curtly hung up on me because I began to raise my voice. This is NOT the kind of customer service you give to a customer who paid in full upon delivery. After multiple visits for a Whirlpool appliance they sold me with design flaws, they think it's okay to ask a customer to suck it up without helping resolve the issues. first let me say, purchased a refrigerator form lowes, 3 times, they came, and left said to hard to deliver to apartment ! lots of angery phone calls to them , canceled out! Called Kochs, explained situtation on phone, they were so very nice, took trip to look at apartment and set up plan, order fridge, set up date, and awesome the delivery people, came out when they said they would, and with out issues, what so ever got the fridge in, the apartment, removed old one. i have talked at least 3 people, from the store, always, always, so very nice, so happy, to see a company who does there job, and it was a bit harder delivery, and they did not, back out, they were awesome , totally recommend, this business . more people should have this work ethic. read more

We just had a double oven installed in our home. Kevin came out and measured it first. Then showed us what was comparable. When the installers came today to install the oven they were very professional. The small adjustment they had to make, they had the knowledge and proper tools to do it. They cleaned up after the installation. Would recommend them to you. read more

Whirlpool dispatched this company for service to my oven that was purchased only 8 months ago and stopped working suddenly. They told me someone local would be out in 2 days and gave me an 8 hour time frame and said the company would call before they came. Later that day I got a voicemail from Mrs. Koch from this appliance place, this was the company that Whirlpool dispatched.  When I returned the call She then proceeded to be incredibly rude and unhelpful... Lecturing me for buying this appliance from Home Depot instead of their store. (I'm from a town 25+ mins away) she went on to say that she didn't know when they could possibly service my oven because they service 30,40,50 calls a day and it could take a week or 2 weeks or even more, and she had no way of telling me when that could possibly even happen! I told her it was only under warranty until November, we are living in the time of covid 19, I live in an rural area and need this oven fixed really as soon as possible because it's how I feel my family. She kept going back to lecturing me about being a bad consumer for purchasing this oven from a big box store and she said they'd call me AT SOME POINT, if they were able to come out and service my non functioning barely 8 month old oven.  I understand that small businesses are suffering and I totally empathize with that BUT if Whirlpool is using this business to help fix their products that only last 8 months, I think they should fine a friendlier, easier to deal with company that doesn't treat you like crap for not buying an appliance from them. Frankly a pretty crummy way to do business! I will be telling all my neighbors and friends to stay away. If I could give no stars I would. read more

1 month outside of warranty on equipment that they personally "refurbished and guaranteed," and Koch's wants $250 to replace a $20 heating element. They screamed over the phone when we asked them to try and work with us!!! Great way to treat a family expecting their second child in less than a month! Koch's opened their business the year that I was born; 1963. In that time, we've purchased 2 stoves 3 dishwashers, clothes washers, dryers, chest and upright freezers and 3 refrigerators, and in addition, 4 air conditioners. They do not sell at drastic undercutting discounts, but rather, fair prices, just the same as the fair, honest treatment with which they conduct their business. Their service dept. is second to none. Older woman on the phone was horrible. Said they wouldn't service my appliance because I bought it at a "big box" store. That their establishment is "more expensive" but they won't service appliances bought cheaply somewhere else. Wow, I will never buy anything from them. The woman was downright rude about it. Obviously they are losing business to larger stores. I understand why. read more

One of the worst around. The techs do not know what they are doing, and the service manager has a terrible attitude. I and three of my friends have all had issues with inexperienced techs actually breaking parts on the items they are supposed to be fixing. So unprofessional in just about every aspect of the experience. They cannot seem to actually make an appointment, and thus like to call you when the tech is around the corner, or stop in unannounced.
