I talked to Lawrence the service manager who gave us a few things to try so I didn't have to pay so much for a tow. He was so pleasant. In the end those things didn't work. I called him back a couple days later and he remembered me. I did have to have my car towed to Kocourek Nissan in Wausau. This was the Thursday the week prior to Thanksgiving and I had plans to travel to my daughter's house in Illinois on Tuesday. Lawrence kept me updated and pushed my service up and had it fixed and ready to go in time. He was wonderful and this was the second time I've used Kocourek and both times was 5 star service. Everyone I talked to from the person answering the phone to the service department were professional and polite.

I know they do not answer as I was waiting calls were sent back to the Dept and no one picked up a call. Today was the last straw. Gave them one more chance. They never picked up.

In my case, I have owned 2 Outback's since 2016 and drive them between CA and WI. I have experience w sales, service in a couple locations and I find the Kocourek dealership to be a better choice. I have 2 experiences to compare Kocourek to others. 1. Service, last week I brought my Outback in for 60K service knowing rear pads were at 2mm from another location check 3K miles ago. I got a quote for service and breaks from my Subaru dealer in CA and the out the door price was over $2300. Doing the same service here plus rear brakes ran me just over $1400. I drive down from 3Lakes area and wait for the car... they arranged for a rental so I could tool around Wausau for a few hours. all in all a great day. 2. Sales, last week when I was doing service, I reviewed purchasing a 2nd Subaru for the family. having purchased 2 Outback's in CA I found that getting anything less than MSRP is nearly impossible without broker or fleet connections... Whereas here in the Midwest, Kocourek started at $2500 off MSRP. Then when picking up the car today, they said that they had pre-installed "undercoating" but were absorbing it... as a courtesy for the few days of back and forth texts and emails to close the deal. Bottom line, this dealer is over the top in both service and sales compared to the 2 local dealers I am used to in Northern California. Happy to share I am a big fan.

In fact, I also had wiper blades in the car for the front windows. I had not replaced them yet and he offered to put those on for me. However unbeknownst to me that the ones I had purchased earlier in the fall were incorrect and he got me the correct ones for the front windows and installed them. His positive attitude and genuine concern for his customers will keep me coming back for all my automotive needs in the future. Awesome job!!
