Super great distillery in the Sunny Slopes area of western Idaho. For anyone interested in good spirits, would highly recommend. They serve a number of whiskeys, brandys, vodkas, and gin. It is a beautiful location set in green rolling hills and orchards (of fruit that they make their vodka and brandy from). Good flight options, but hard to choose from the options since Idaho law only allows three 0.5oz tasting pours. Super nice staff, beautiful open seating area with games and a relaxing vibe. Also great merch! You can also take yourself on a tour of the distillery and barrel room. Would definitely come back again when in the area.

Did a tasting, but it's somewhat pointless. You can only do one tasting, and only three small samples of each item. So, there's so much you may be curious about but can secure no answer for. Only food option is fish and chips truck. Great if you love deep fried things, like fish. We don't, preferring fresh fare such as cheese, fresh greens, apples even. Or toast tips. We bought a good deal of huckleberry vodka, a logo sweatshirt, and more. Recommend that you eat prior to coming. You can order a small mixed drink, such as old fashioned.

Koenig distillery was a fun visit! We were seated and ordered 3 tastings of various liquors. I enjoyed all my tastings - huckleberry vodka, peach vodka and the honey bourbon. Service was great! It's a beautiful spot. They had a food truck available if you wanted to make a picnic! This was the first stop on our wine day so we moved on. I will return!

Tried three of the whistles, they were all amazing. Ended up taking home 2 bottles. 1 of the Barrel proof and 1 Caldwell. I wish I could have tried them all. Will definitely have to come back for more

Very nice facility. I went because I am a big bourbon junkie, I was to see the place. They let you walk into the Rick House un-chaperoned and well as their distillery. They have some beautiful still i l life a large column still. I was impressed. The whiskey is good and they will let you try and purchase three for $10. If you more clears, they have an assortment of brandy and vodka both flavored and unflavored.

He arranged a great set of three wineries (Kindred, Sawtooth and Koenig). The comfortable van rides, each wine tasting stop and the friendly interactions could not have been better. We arrived at Kindred just before noon and were first in line to order delicious pizzas from their wood fired oven. All three wineries offered a tasty array of different varietals for us to try. Then as a late afternoon bonus, we stopped at the Koenig distillery where a range of spirits are made. We are veteran wine lovers who have lived in Oregon and California. We were impressed to learn that Idaho now has a wonderful and growing wine making industry. It is well worth a visit and Ciao Bella is the way to make that visit in comfort and style with knowledgeable and friendly guidance every step of the way.

And with the view by the patio, how can it not be the most perfect setting to enjoy my birthday dinner. We just stuck with water since it was on the warmer side today. We just went straight in for dinner. As much as the appetizers sounded lovely, I was ready for the main event. So for dinner tonight I ordered the charboiled salmon with seasonal veggies in place of the salad. My salmon was plated beautifully with nice char marks on it. The veggies were a variety of squash and were sautéed nicely. And you can tell visually that they were seasoned nicely with spices and herbs. I dug right into my salmon. My first couple bites were delicious. I did spread some of the sun dried tomato butter on my salmon. The butter was fantastic! It added a nice flavor element to the salmon. After I ate about a a fourth of my salmon, I noticed that it was not cooked all the way through in the middle. With my new kidney, I can't have rare or undercooked fish. My immune system can't handle a parasite if the fish were to potentially contain any. I shouldn't have assumed that it was going to be cooked all the way since our server didn't ask how well I wanted it cooked. I did have to send it back and have another one remade. While my new fish was being prepared, my server gave me a small salad plate to transfer my veggies to. I got to work on them so I wasn't staring at my family eat. The veggies were cooked perfectly. They weren't overly soft or still raw. It had a nice bite to them while still being tender. Unfortunately, they were overly seasoned and was on the saltier side. I was hungry so I polished them off. But I did have to drink a good amount of water to help with the saltiness. Thank goodness the portion was on the daintier side. As hungry as I was, it would have been bad if it was a bigger portion. All that salt would not be good on my new kidney. My second round of salmon came out. Was it as pretty as my first plate, no but it will do. I'm sure they set the flame on high, let it sit on the grill for a while and then flipped it to cook the other side. I have cooked salmon well done plenty of times and have it come out tender. When you cook for a living, having cooking times for your dishes should be down to a science in your kitchen. Unfortunately, the salmon was super dry and flavorless. As hungry as I was, I ate it. The butter did help with the dryness of the salmon. But I shouldn't have to rely on butter to make the dish edible. For my birthday, I got a free dessert. I chose the gluten free carrot cake. My cousin eats a gluten free diet so I thought this cake would be perfect for all of us. I enjoyed the cake very much! The cake was moist. The spices in the cake were fragrant and very noticeable in each bite. I loved the frosting on the cake. Since the cake wasn't overly sweet, the frosting added a nice sweetness to it. I enjoyed the cake very much! Our server did a mid job. There were times when she would be gone for long periods of time and we had to wait for her. The patio was perfect with its stunning view. Dinner was ok but dessert was fabulous. Overall it was a decent experience. I do look forward to coming back and enjoying the outdoor patio with my husband for a date night. I just know now to make sure I vocalize everything to my server so I don't end up with dry salmon again. I do want to come back and have a better experience.

We had the opportunity to take pictures throughout, the light displays in the neighborhood we drove around were beautiful and our driver Tim was very pleasant. We almost did a trolley Christmas lights tour but I think it's worth it to pay more and do this for the extra special touches and extra room- especially if you are plus sized like myself or extremely tall like my fiancé. There was definitely quite a bit of confusion at first on where to meet our driver. The email mentioned a sears parking lot at Boise Towne Square but there dosen't seem to be a Sears there so they may want to make some updates with the directions. I called Carolyn who told me that the meeting spot was a parking lot behind a hotel that is across from the mall and she stated to look for the classic convertible stating the driver already arrived there... well, we found the hotel lot she mentioned but the car was nowhere to be found so I called the driver whose number she gave us and he said he was on his way and would be there in 5 minutes ..so must have been some miscommunication on their end lol Aside from that though, it was a great experience and we would do it again!

Angela, the head of Indulge Boise, led our tour herself! Her love for the area came through in every story and every stop on our journey. The Greenbelt and Garden City districts were calmly beautiful from the get-go, but she brought them alive with history, personality, and local pride. Henry, who was training to lead the same tour, was also a perfect presence--warm, curious, and already bringing his own perspective and enthusiasm to the experience. We absolutely lucked out with two pros, brimming with hometown pride. We started with amazing tacos at The Sandbar at the Riverside Hotel, then continued through a relaxed, beautifully paced mix of wine, food, river views, and local storytelling. Nothing felt rushed, and everything felt thoughtfully curated. (Every wine stop--Telaya, Proletariat, Dude Dewalt--was excellent and exactly what we needed at that point in the tour. As were the surprise lemonade and RIVER DOGS from PJ's!!) This is exactly the kind of tour I'd recommend to visitors, locals, or anyone thinking about making Boise part of their life. A 100% memorable afternoon--one that set us up for further exploration with a probable move here!
