I admit I am no wine expert, but Kindred is a great place to sit and enjoy some nice wine and some wood fired pizza, and if the weather is right, you can have an amazing view of the Snake and Owyhee valley below. I usually let the better half order the wine, but everything I have had here tastes excellent. The pizzas are well made and are the perfect size for two to enjoy and not overeat. The owners, fellow once Montanans, are some of the nicest people we've met. For me, I like that this place doesn't have a pretentious feel that I've experience at other wineries. Keeping it real! Several friends and family have come here with us and all have enjoyed the offerings here. If you're a beer person, they do offer a few beers on tap (and possibly in the bottle too). read more

My mom is a member here and we come here at least once per visit when I am out there. Wine is always solid, beer is decent and service is always top notch. Totally going to try a pizza in the near future but haven't gone hungry yet. Heard good things about the pizzas. Good views and love music is always an added plus. read more

We stopped by on a night where there was live music which was so fun! The wine was delicious and had a great story behind each type of wine and also the bottle artwork. The pizzas were so delicious - we got the potato pizza and the meat lovers with jalapeños. Atmosphere and wine were our favorites of our Boise trip. We had the opportunity to sit down with the wine maker and talk wine. Walked the vineyards and enjoyed a fantastic Sunday with amazing wine. If you get the chance, talk to them about the story behind the wines, the labels, and all their history! Was a pleasure visiting this gem, and we will be back when visiting our friends! Nothing makes me smile greater than being gifted a bottle of Mama's Merlot from Kindred. It's an excellent wine! I've visited the tasting room a few times now and always left happy. The live music has always been fantastic and the pizzas are delicious. My favorite is the Pequeño Diablo (tomato sauce, mozzarella, fennel sausage, pepperoni, jalapeño topped with chipotle with adobo). It's pretty damn spicy, so proceed with caution. The Margherita is a close second and much more suitable for those who possess an aversion to spicy food. read more

Very nice winery - wine, great views, plenty of open space, and wood-fired pizza. Went with a group of friends on a recent Sunday. Some of us got the tasting flight, some got beer. We all got pizza! It was the best part if the day. It's always nice when there are other options for non-wine drinkers. A couple of local beers and a hard cider were on tap. And food! I wish more wineries had something to munch on. The wines were fine. The stories behind them are fun, but none of us went home with bottles, so I think that is an indicator. The one wine that wasn't part of the tasting was the one we all ended up ordering glasses of and liked the most (cabernet rose). Service was friendly, but very slow and inattentive. At two points we had to flag someone down for our next tasting and again after our glasses and mugs were all empty for over 10 minutes. Reasonable prices and we were told they occasionally have live music. It would be a fun place to visit they have it and enjoy the setting. Just be prepared to be there a while. read more

This is a really nice concert venue and it gets a little better each year! They only serve pizza with the "show" and the pizzas have gotten noticeably better! Some very nice wines complement the pizza and they started selling a sangria as well! Spectacular! Parking is tight but they advertise two seatings: 6 to 7:30 and 6:30 to 8:00. There is no organization and the seating is just handled terribly! No organization and it's totally chaos. Get there at 6:00 with your reservation and hope for the best! Those who arrive at 6:30 leave, pissed off! It's going to be a place to go after they get the front door and the entry and seating issues resolved!! read more

Go for the wine and pizza. As long as your down wine a kind of clunky setup and super down to earth vibes, you will love this place. Dry wines and very friendly people. Found this place by surprise and what a wonderful surprise it was! We were out to do some wine tasting on a Friday but were also hungry and when I found this on google maps and it said it had pizza we decided to stop. We were the only ones there so we got a wonderful experience with Elisha, Alisha, and Craig. Not sure if I spelt the ladies names right but I know one is pronounced differently than the other. They just opened last year but the grapes and vineyard have been in the family for years. The stories behind the labels of the bottles is so fun to listen to. The wine was delicious and the ideas and goals they have for the winery are so awesome. If your looking for a new winery to try I highly recommend Kindred Winery! read more

Absolutely loved this place. Great wines in a beautiful setting with excellent service. Came for Mother's Day and had a glorious idaho Pinot noir followed by the Oregon Pinot noir (great story about the grapes). My dad tried both the oaked and unoaked Chardonnays -both excellent. Super helpful staff that knew a lot about the wine and processes. Family run and overflowing with love. Mother Earth Beer on tap and yummy Italian sodas for non drinkers and kids. Kindred has some of the best pizza in the area. They have a pizza oven on the property which just gives it more of that cozy, home vibe. Paired with a glass of one of their Cabs, you can't really get any better. They also serve beer here, which is nice for those who are not too fond of wine. Newer winery, but good. When we got there, there was live music which is always a nice touch. Don't sleep on these guys! read more

I'm not normally a fan of Merlot, but this bottle was very good. Also tried their estate pinot noir also very good. The band and ambiance were excellent, and the pizza was delicious. Went with family and friends, and the establishment was very accommodating to our Lil guy. The owners were very nice and helpful. read more

This was a great and unique find! The draw for us was having good pizza along with the wine tasting, since most wineries don't offer food. Our server as well as the owner were knowledgeable and very hospitable. The space was cute and the wine and pizza were good! It's family friendly too if you want. If you ask ahead for them to make it the day before, in your reservation, they were able to custom make us a really delicious gluten-free crust to accommodate one of our party. Loved the history of this place being inspired by Italy and how they let us hang around and chat/chill for a while after our tasting. Highly recommend! read more

Very disappointed in how we were treated. We were told it was $10 for four tastes and pairings. No one mentioned the "pairings" were an extra $10. For 3 of us it cost $60! The pairings were 4 crackers, 2 slices of cheese, 2 small cheese balls, and 3 pieces of chocolate on a paper plate. Hardly worth $10. My husband paid the bill then, as we were leaving, told me about it. I went back to ask for a refund they apologized but instead of refunding they offered only a free pairing next time. The wine was okay. The atmosphere was nice. But I won't be back. read more
