Stopped in after noticing the handwritten "Hand Krafted Happiness" board outside and instantly understood the vibe this café is going for. This shop is located at the bottom of The Maven Luxury apartments. The space felt calm, bright, & intentionally curated without trying too hard. What stood out most was the creativity of the menu. Instead of the usual generic coffee lineup, they had drinks like a Honey Lavender Latte, Strawberry Matcha, Toasted Coconut Latte, and even blueberry lemonade. It gave the shop personality. I ended up trying the hot Tiramisu specialty latte one day and returned the next day for the Toasted Coconut latte. Appreciated the flavors being balanced and handcrafted instead of another overly sweet drink. The pastries and sandwich specials also were solid -- especially the croissants and breakfast brioche options. This feels like the kind of café you stop into for "just coffee" and accidentally stay awhile. Definitely a nice local find if you enjoy boutique coffee shops with seasonal flavor combos and a relaxed atmosphere. read more

I really wanted to give this place a try after hearing so much about it and to my dismay I have to give it a three. A very nice small intimate coffee shop, quite clean inside, but for my first experience it was an odd one. The customer service energy was off. Although the staff were friendly they seemed confused and disoriented. I had to say more than three times when asked what I wanted. Then after purchasing what I wanted, a the gentleman came over to me to tell me that they didn't have anymore croissants only bagels and brioche bread that was like a croissant. I know they both were create in France, but they are not the same, because a croissant is flaky and brioche is very firm and soft. I've would have liked to known this before I made a purchase, so I settled for the brioche. Now while waiting on my order, the same girl who helped me with my order asked me again what did I order, (fourth time) because she forgot what my drink and wasn't sure if the drink the guy made was mine or someone else. It was only one person who ordered a drink ahead of me. My sandwich was served to me and it was just ok. It was supposed to be a hot one yet the meat was cold and everything else was warm. It just didn't come together properly. The sauce that was served with it, maybe a chipotle mayo, that added some pop to it. As for my latte, although it wasn't giving social media vibes that I saw had whipped cream and chocolate sauce, it still made my visit a happy one. As a matter of fact, it would be the only reason I would return if I'm in this area again. It was so yummy, so cold, and so refreshing! On my way out I purchased a lychee juice and they had no idea what the price of that was until I they rang it up for me to purchase. They didn't have a long list of products that were available, they could at least have an idea about the pricing of what they had available for purchase, just seem clueless about everything. Not sure why the overall Yelp rating is so low? My first experience was a great one. We were greeted with a smile upon walking in, and the gentleman behind the counter wasted no time explaining all of the food options, both in and out of the pastry case. We ordered our usual--vanilla oat milk latte--and decided to share two items: a bacon, egg, and cheese on a toasted croissant, and their ham and cheese danish. My husband and I both agreed the espresso was not only good, but you can tell they know how to properly pull a shot. The food was very tasty and fresh. We would absolutely stop in again! read more

Not sure what time this place closes, but I came in around 2:40 p.m. and there were no pastries left. The shop looked like it wasn't even operating. Customer service was just as disappointing. The man behind the counter was talking with another person when I walked in. They both looked at me but said nothing no greeting, no acknowledgment. Even when I looked back at the empty pastry display, the staff member still didn't say a word. Honestly, not being greeted as a customer feels worse than the store looking closed and the floor being dirty. Honestly such a great addition to the neighborhood, the ladies were so friendly and sweet. The frittata was so flavorful and made with love. The bagel was so good idk what was in the bread but it hit haha! Worth every penny. Nice vibe and very cottage core decor. I had an iced matcha and my friend got the iced latte, pretty good. Cute coffee shop tucked away. My barista was very sweet and kind and made a suggestion when they didn't have what I went to the cafe for. However .... I love matcha and I could absolutely tell preparing matcha was not her forte. My matcha was kind of gritty and didn't have the best flavor. It just tasted like a cup of oat milk. This place was on my list for a while. I went on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and it was empty. I was surprised but also happy since I wanted to get some work done. The service was fantastic. They were helpful and quick although I thought the menu would have been a bit longer, a bit more creative just based on how many times I'd seen it on tik tok. It has all the essentials. Nothing too fancy. I got a caramel iced latte and it was good. I also ordered a BEC on a croissant, which was delicious, topped with plenty of chives. I saw one outlet and sat nearby I'm not sure if every table has but it didn't appear so. Parking was interesting, I parked where I could see my car under the underpass just in case but I wasn't sure where I should park. It's tucked in such a little cozy nook. I would absolutely recommend as a place to study or work though. It gets a ton of natural light and the music selection got me into a groove with work. Around 10:30, it got packed really quickly. People hanging out and another group doing Bible study. At the time I went they had a promotion of free refills for posting about your visit which I thought was cool. read more

Almost in the middle of nowhere a hole in the wall coffee Café I thought it was up top where the new Pilates studio is and a couple of restaurants, but it is not. It is down below which if you didn't know, you would be like confused and a little bit sketched out by but I found it and it is a SMALL BUT CUTE coffee shop I got a hot French toast latte with a bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich my total came out to $20.00 and I tipped like $5 so in total I paid $25 for 2 item. Now I do not wanna blame this on them because it was most likely my mistake but I always order everything iced. It does not matter the season or weather and I accidentally got a hot French toast latte and I ordered a small and I got a large again that might've been my fault because this is my first time ordering and I didn't have my order altogether with that being inside. The latte did not taste anything like French toast and it just personally was not up my alley also because the shop is so small. The seating is literally right next to another person so you do not have any kind of space you were literally sitting right next to somebody at all times so unless the shop is not busy, maybe two or three people can spread out between the tables and not feel as though they are sitting on top of somebody but if it was a very busy day, please do not get your hopes up that you are not gonna be like squished right next to somebody And maybe if I would have gotten the iced coffee it would have tasted a lot better and I can only try again the next time I come back now moving on the sandwich the sandwich was absolutely amazing 10 to 10 recommend if that's the only thing that you're gonna get I would highly recommend just getting the bacon egg and cheese croissant sandwich It came out perfectly hot fresh buttery soft and they have the perfect chipotle aïoli mayo to complement it on the side and it wasn't too spicy it was honestly perfect. I would come back 100%. They also have a cute little accessory store on the side where they are selling books and coffee mugs And just really cute other like decorations that you can buy like stickers and ornaments so I would 100% recommend. I was really close to buying something but the glass straws threw me off. The Bronx is definitely turning into something that I would have never guessed it to turn into and I absolutely love it and will be back read more
