Extremely Unprofessional Experience I scheduled a spa party on November 15th for my cousin and a few of her friends. Unfortunately, the entire experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. First, the scheduling was mishandled from the start. I clearly communicated that our services needed to begin at 2:30 PM, yet the spa didn't start until 3:00 PM based solely on their own preferred timing. I also explained that our group needed to leave by 5:00 PM for a dinner reservation, but that was ignored. Instead, the staff insisted on taking pictures before letting the group go, showing no respect for our schedule. Several service issues also occurred. My cousin, who is pregnant, shared that her massage therapist's hygiene was noticeably unpleasant--completely unacceptable in a spa environment. Customer service was equally disappointing. When my niece arrived to handle the remaining payments and gratuity, she was not even allowed inside and felt she was treated rudely. In previous spa parties I've done here, guests were allowed to sit or wait in the lounge, so this was shocking and unprofessional. Communication was poor as well. I called multiple times to update the spa about additional reservations, and no one answered. The only return my call after the scheduled appointment time had already passed. On top of all that, the payment policies are unreasonable. Requiring guests to pay upfront for services they haven't received yet is unprofessional. Forcing gratuity for services that were not adequate makes it worse. And requiring the entire group to pay on one card is inconvenient, unreasonable, and clearly only benefits the business--not the customers. For a place that hosts group events, this policy makes absolutely no sense and reflects very poor customer service. Overall, this spa party was an unpleasant and frustrating experience from start to finish. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this spa to anyone. We went here for our bachelorette and I loved it! They let the bride CHOOSE the music to play during our visit! Gave us sweets and wine/champagne for our visit. It was a nice different take on the usual spas which are typically all white or tan, here it's more colorful and playful in the lobby so we can have fun and stay entertained as they assisted all 6 of us at different times. The massage room is a different atmosphere, it's very relaxing during the massages, cut off from the lobby room atmosphere so as to not disturb the relaxation going on. My facial massage was sooo nice, my face felt renewed and hydrated, and I have very dry skin so it felt like a whole new face, I loved it. There was a random customer interrupting our session though, but the staff did their best to deal with the guest and continue servicing us. After patronizing a number of spas in Dallas over the years, I have found what I've been searching for: Koffee Day Spa. The most important element for me when I choose a business is customer service. Koffee leaves the others in the dust! My girlfriends and I drove to Dallas for a relaxing spa weekend getaway. We were eager to try Koffee Day Spa after reading about it online. Initially it was a bit confusing because it's a boutique spa and I didn't fully understand that when I set up the event. However, I was not disappointed. I've been to many spas and my services here were just as good as anywhere else. I had an oxygen facial that was divine! I received so many compliments on my glow . . . it was amazing!!! But most important, I thought the service was excellent. Thai and her staff made us feel really welcomed and appreciated. They really went out of their way to pamper us. I have been to many spas and have had massages at some of the best places in Dallas. I have to add Koffee Day Spa to that list! I am very grateful of the time, effort, and comfort offered to my sister and I. We were spoiled with freshly baked cupcakes, our own bottle of champagne, and fresh cucumber/orange water. I had been in communication with Thai for several weeks planning a special visit to Koffee Day Spa - she was accommodating and communicative. Our services included a foot soak with a foot masque that left our feet feeling so soft! We even had a personalized massage. I love deep tissue massages and I am normally left disappointed but the young lady did an amazing job. Also, my facial left my skin glowing! My sister couldn't stop talking about it all day, too. Wonderful experience! A girlfriend I included this as a part of our "relax and regroup" weekend. We drove almost 3 hours to our adventure and this was our 1st stop after lunch. It was absolutely great! Very friendly staff! Decor is very quaint and earthy. It gives me a Soho, east-coast like feel. My massage therapist (Ivy) was very professional and thorough. I did not feel like he rushed through the massage, as I sometimes do with other therapists at home. I have an old shoulder injury that had been bothering me that week. When I got off that table and even now that nagging pain is gone. I thank God for my healing and Ivy! When my friend and I left Koffee Day Spa, we both felt rejuvenated! Just got home from my first visit at Koffee Day Spa. It's a 45 minute trip from where I live. This was a Groupon birthday present from my husband. When I got there, I was greeted right away, filled out my paperwork, and was immediately escorted to my massage room by the same gentleman who greeted me when I entered. He introduced himself and told me he would be my masseuse today. His name was Will, but said he was also known as "Hands", after my 90+ minute massage, I can honestly say that he should be known as "Magic Hands". He did a fantastic job on me, and I hope to get to go back again. My husband drove me up there and back, because he knows I can't stand driving in traffic anymore. I love love love this quaint place here in Dallas. When I made my appointment the young lady who took my call was very professional and explained the entire process to me and how things would be a little different (safer) due to Covid. That really put me at ease because they took our health seriously. When we arrived for our couples massage the day of, we were greeted with warm and pleasant faces. The place smelled amazing (even through my mask). We were taken right back at our appointed time and the massages, facials and foot massages were all amazing. Wow what can I say! I've been coming to Koffee for 3yrs now and today Koffee proved to me why I should become a member of the spa. The management and service has always been great but today something was different. My massage therapist, Will or "hands", gave me a better prenatal then I could ever ask for. Everything was completely smoothing and relaxing. And when I got up from the table I gave him a more then generous tip. I have to say that Will has to be the BEST massage therapist in Dallas. WOW! WOW! WOW! This is such a hidden gem of Dallas! My husband bought the Groupon and I am so happy he did. The spa is located downtown near the new Lorenzo hotel with easy parking (no meters and there are spots along the streets). The receptionist was so helpful (we were able to schedule our massages within the week--amazing!) and my massage from Will was downright the BEST massage that I've ever had in my life. Thai is amazing. She is a wonderful person inside and out. She is very personable and provides professional, quality service to each of her clients. She makes everyone feels like family. Koffee day spa was such an amazing experience... my masseuse name was Will and he has hands of magic. I really enjoyed the personal touch that the spa has. You feel welcome from the time you first walk in the door. Everyone was so pleasant, professional and Personable. It's like a little hidden gem. I have been trying to get an appointment for a while, I finally got one for my birthday and it was well worth the wait. The person who did my facial was fantastic, my skin feels what can only be described as bouncy. She did a great job and was very friendly. For the massage, when I came in my back was so sore I couldn't even bend over(due to moving and packing), by the time I left there was practically no ache left. Wonderful services! My husband and I just left from our appointment. It was my first professional massage and I was so pleased. Both of the ladies in the shop were sweet as can be and did an excellent job. While my girl was use to giving more firm massages (and I like more of a soft touch) she adjusted when asked and I left feeling wonderful and relaxed. This place is awesome - small business providing exceptional service. I've been going to Thai for 5yrs for facials. She has drastically improved my skin with monthly facials and mild chemical peels twice a year. She's very meticulous and has a provided a skin regime specifically for my skin needs while being so friendly and down to earth.
