I've driven past this place a bunch of times and didn't give it a second thought because the giant coffee cup above the sign looks pretty worn and beat up - looks can be deceiving! Inside is a warm, cute diner with plenty of booths and tables and nostalgic decor. I've been here twice now for breakfast and was very impressed with the food, portions, and price both times. Country fried steak smothered in gravy was excellent, and the Country Breakfast was wonderful too with a little less food. Eggs were cooked perfectly, bacon was nice and crispy, and the home fries are just the way I like them. I would give this place 5 stars if their outside presentation was better, but definitely check it out for great food! read more

Arrived 07/30/2025, Ordered My Usual On Mondays & Tuesdays at 7:20am. Different older Waitress Said not until 11am. I replied I always get a tuna melt or grill cheese & fries. She rudely replied not here. very Rude And probably hates her job. I left after drinking my ice tea with no refills. this waitress ruined it for the others as I was a good tipper. Seat yourself and pay up front at the end of your meal. Food is decent but standard breakfast fare. Service is good and quick but not overly engaging. Ambiance is basic strip mall with some booth seating around the perimeter and tables in the middle. I would really only recommend this place if it's convenient to your location as there are many other equal or better spots all over town. I love hole in the wall type places, especially when it comes to greasy spoon type places. Even though the first day that I went to eat there, they almost gave me someone else's order, but I corrected them right then and there. I ordered an omelette with a biscuit and Home fries I believe is what they call. They almost gave me someone else's, which was eggs, grits, and toast. Our first time there. I found it when I went to the barbershop next door for a haircut which was also my first time there. The restaurant turned out better than my haircut. The first thing I noticed was that the inside of the restaurant looked very clean. We sat down in a booth and the waitress came over to our table with menus and asked us if we wanted coffee which we answered yes. The menu covered everything you could want for breakfast. My wife chose a Denver omelette and I ordered eggs over easy with home fries and sausage patties and a homemade biscuit covered with country gravy. We waited a little over ten minutes for our food but we were enjoying our coffee and chatting. The food arrived hot and looked good to get right into eating. I ordered sautéed onions to be added to my home fries which were delicious together. The country gravy was generous over the homemade biscuit and very tasty. Overall, we recommend this restaurant for cleanliness, good food, and good service at a very fair price. read more

The only good things i can say about this place is the decor is lovely, the western omelette is always good and you get good sized portions for the price. But--the coffee sucks, half the food you order you'll be taking a chance on and the waitresses attitudes are HORRIBLE! Its clear that they hate their job. I happened to mention to my boyfriend that I had bacon and eggs for breakfast and he decided that for his lunch he wanted breakfast food. So this is where we ended up. I of course did not get breakfast for a second time, so I went with some chicken fingers and french fries. They were your typical diner chicken fingers and fries. Nothing special, but they did the job. My boyfriend seemed to love his breakfast because it was all gone before I ate half of my food. I think he ordered "The Mess". The server was great and very attentive. The prices seemed pretty reasonable on everything. We have been here a few times, and we have enjoyed every time we have been here. Today was a bit different, my wife ordered a chicken sandwich with fries. Everything was fresh and warm. I ordered The Mess, with bacon and biscuits. My problem was the biscuits were not fresh, I could tell they were old and microwaved. Terrible customer service went in as a new customer asked for a menu after sitting for s few minutes with no greeting. The waitress practically threw the menu at us and never acknowledged us with any type of greeting . My family got up and left the counter. I used to go here all the time. I moved away and now I'm back. The place is way smaller than before and service is just as fast. I have a few tweeks for them. One - the sausage gravy was so hot I had to wait until last to eat it and even then it was still too hot. Two - no one ever refilled my drink nor offered to do so. Three - the biscuits actually tasted different than I remembered. They used to be so good. The sausage biscuits used to be the highlight of my meal. This time there wasn't enough salt and pepper on the table. I started going there because you always saw emergency works there all the time (always a sign of great food). I didn't see one in the place. Get them back!!!!! Go back to the original recipes or find someone to follow it correctly. I will try again in a few months to see if it changes. read more

Oh the "Koffee Kup" I went here for the first time a few weeks ago and have been back four times, the place is perfect for my kind of breakfast: eggs, meats, excellent coffee, delicious home fries, and close to perfect sausage gravy. The servers here our old school "mature" women, who will treat you like family, make your laugh (even at 8am), tell you great stories and provide excellent service with that old diner feel sassy-ness. I highly recommend the "Koffee Kup" if you are looking for an old school breakfast that will get you ready to go for the day and not drain your wallet. read more

My dad was in town visiting so we went here for a late lunch around 12:30pm on a Tuesday. The waitress said sit wherever you want when we walked in the door. It has a very comfortable, homey feel. There is a whole section for kids with toys and games, though there were no children there at the time. I ordered 2 eggs, bacon, grits, wheat toast. The food was good, though I don't like the yoke and they said they couldn't do just egg whites because it was bike week. My dad ordered the vegetable soup which smelled delicious. He said it tasted just as good as it smelled. He also had a BLT which he said was great. There is nothing fancy about this restaurant, but it is definitely good home cooking! read more

My uncle and aunt are breakfSt here every day for 20 years. We decided to try it out fo lunch. We did not realize they were only open for breakfast and lunch. We arrived about a half hour before their closing time. An older waitress made a point of loudly commenting the closing time. We were embarrassed and left. A younger waitress retrieved us from the parking lot and appologised for the other servers behavior. She told us there was plenty of time. In the meantime 5 other people walked in and sat down without any comment from the other waitress. Lunch was good. Even after we were served people came in. I guess "granny" was having a bad day. We went here twice but only ate once. Prior to visiting the first time, we noticed that the parking lot seemed busy, normally a good sign. We made a note of it, and came back another day when we weren't in a hurry. Our first visit was good, nothing to get excited about but also good enough to plan another trip when looking for breakfast. Wait staff was okay, had to wait a bit for our check. But, all in all, we were content when we left. Now on our second visit, a totally different story....They were busy but there were several tables empty as well. Certainly, not crowded by any means. We were told to pick any seat so, we did. Choose a both that was in the corner but the dining room is very open. We waited and waited and waited, then some other people came in a sat down in a both just behind us. Almost immediately the waitress came to their table and got their drink order (looked as though they were regulars). This frustrated us a bit but thought that the waitress would then come to our table to take our order. Oh no, she looked at us and walked to the kitchen. We now have been sitting in the open dining room for approximately 10 minutes without being acknowedged in any way, shape or form. We had had enough, and got up to leave. As we were walking out, no one seemed to be the least bit interested in our shortened visit. So that they'd have a clue, we told the cashier that we were leaving and explained why. She summoned a waiter who was standing nearby. Thinking he'd make it right and offer to seat us in his section or at least in a section where we'd get service, he instead said, "Well, so your just gonna leave anyway, right?" Yep, we sure did. Sort of let us know how much they cared about keeping a customer. Never again will we go to this restuarant. read more
