Check their facebook page for daily specials. Went on Friday for their shrimp special. Comes with 2 sides. Hand cut fries. Great philly cheesesteak. Awesome service.

When I see a sign that says "Scratch Cookin" it always gets my attention especially when it lunch time and I'm craving something fresh and delicious. We stopped in here while in the area and found the parking lot mostly filled but was able to get seated without a wait. The service here is exceptional and is only matched by the food and it's reasonable pricing. This was my first time here but I have been told by others "if you every get the opportunity stop in" After getting the low down on the menu by our extremely friendly and accommodating server we placed our order - A traditional Cuban and a simple handmade 6 oz Cheeseburger and hand cut fries to share pretty simple but none the less amazing. Nothing fancy here but you can taste the passion in every bite, and that's why the locals keep coming, this place definitely makes my return too list...

Tuesday Pork Tenderloin Special w/ extra fries and sides

Affordable and tasty! The pork cutlets are no joke, but we somehow managed to finish our massive portions. I liked their onion cucumber salad as a fresh side to the fried food. Service is fast and friendly. Only downside is the seating is quite rough around the edges-- the place could use a deep clean. But if you are looking for truly no frills that happily serves you good food at a reasonable price, this is the place to be!

    Indiana Style Pork Tenderloin Sandwich

This place is incredible. Probably built in the 50's they feature comfort food that everyone will love. They have a standard menu filled with food that mom used to make and specials everyday. My favorite is the Tuesday special, the pork tenderloin sandwich. It is the biggest pork tenderloin I have ever seen. It is as big as the plate and 4 times bigger that the hamburger bun. It is a must try if you are in the neighborhood.

UPDATE: There are a lot of daily specials. I am forever going for Tuesday night pork tenderloin sandwich (for 11.99) Look below for the pictures ***WOW*** I really don't think I want to tell you about this little gem because you will love it here and I won't be able to get in anymore!!! With that said, FRAZE'S little place is AMAZING If those who remember, he had a small place inside a gas station in OBS We ordered from them all least 3xs a week NOW, if you read my posts you know I HATE to cook The dishes he provided were so different FROM SCRATCH (delicious) that you would get a variety of meals for inexpensive prices and never have the same thing twice Well, the gas station owners were terrible to him and he moved to Holly Hill We found them again on Ridgewood Ave trying to find a place to eat and there they were. A HUGH sign is out front begging us to come in FRAZE'S is a tiny place but there is still lots of room inside PLUS plenty of picnic tables outside. We walked in, they were busy (help was short tonight) so we sat ourselves down, looked at the menu but while looking at the great dishes, The sweetest of family told us there was a special menu for weekends. Again, ***WOW*** They had fall off the bone ribs, New York strip, Brisket, CRAB CLAWS!!! and more We ordered and was told there was a wait because of the short staff I did say FROM SCRATCH RIGHT? But not like your big expensive restaurants, it did come rather quickly While waiting for our food I looked over to different people's plates crude, I know But, that's me. When I see fantastic meals I want to ask what they are having. This adorable family invited me over to explain there dishes. Wait until you see the crab claws...I was salivating. YUM They even invited us over to sit and eat with them (We exchanged #s too) What a great experience, fun, inviting time we had. ALSO, they have karaoke on I think just Saturday's? I will have to get back to you on that If you sing, you will be put in a raffle to try to win your dinner WHAT???!!!! Again, BUT, if you don't get there early, they will be eating out of house and home Did I tell you, they make their meals FROM SCRATCH Anyway, we made plans with our new friends and hosts to come back next weekend. (AND had to pre-order the ribs because they always run out AND they make A LOT) Don't ruin it for me but DO go to FRAZE'S SCRATCH kitchen, you will be pleasantly surprised and delited you did!!!

First time here, and I get everybody like this place. They have daily specials. This was Friday, and the special was shrimp and fish, palock, or Mahi Mahi, with hush puppies, coleslaw, and French fries. We got that, and it was as good as we have had in any place in town, at a much cheaper price. We also got the fried chicken, Buffalo style. The chicken was excellent. Boneless beast, fried, and moist. The servings were pretty huge. The staff were very nice. The restaurant was very clean. It was karaoke night, and the place was starting to get full. Outside seating was pretty large. So, the food was good. The service was good. The prices were very nice. I recommend.

This is a nice mom and pop style restaurant. Good selection on the menu. Started off with a really good and really large iced tea. Fresh brewed and ice cold. Candyce had a cheesesteak sandwich and it was hot and loaded. Her side was waffle cut sweet potato fries. I tried the fries and they were excellent and I'm not a big fan of sweet potato fries. Good flavor. I had the chicken cordon bleubon. Chicken cordon Bleu Cuban style. Super big and filling and oh so good. Potato salad as a side. Seems like the sides are a la carte. Great service and fast. Food was very good. A good find.

Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich-Tuesday only Huge and great tasting

This restaurant I found on Yelp. The Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwich is great. It is only served on Tuesday. Their pies taste just like my grandma used to make. The staff is very friendly

Window is so clean I felt like I was eating outside ..... absolutely awesome!!!!!

I asked to have them made extra crispy before getting tossed into the sauce and that's exactly what I got. The sauce was spicy and flavorful, not so hot that you can't taste the "Zingers" at all. The entire staff was friendly. Great service from my server! The hostess opened the door for a disabled person entering before me and held it open for me as well. The manager opened the door for me as I was leaving and thanked me for coming. Awesome dining experience all around! I've been to this location several times and have not been disappointed during my visits.

My wife and I walked in around 2:45 pm on a Saturday. The place was not really busy. We were…read moregreeted professionally and immediately seated (but were not asked where we preferred to sit). We waited about 5 minutes after being given menus before a "server" came over. This man seemed to think we were there for entertainment. Everything that came out of his mouth was loud and somewhat irritating. He wouldn't stop with the poor humor and refused it seemed to just act professionally. Placing our order was uncomfortable. We ordered a burger and salad for my wife and 12 wings for myself. When ordering, the server kept saying "AND" after we would state what we wanted. He was trying to push us to order more? He continued to a point that we almost got up and walked out. What he failed to realize was that we were out for a simple and quiet late afternoon meal, not a Gong Show audition by him. Almost 35 minutes passed. Yes, 35 minutes. The server stopped by and believe it or not, grabbed the table side ordering device and had to check to see if HE actually put in the order. He left and returned about 5 minutes later with the order. The wings were inedible. The first thing I noticed is they were dried out. Not even warm on the outside yet somewhat steamy on the inside. The sauce was dried out on most of them. And then came the taste test. Have you ever eaten wings that were old? The wings were so salty I almost spit them out. I held back due to being in a public area. The worst. Salt beyond understanding. I tried a second and the same thing. I had my wife try part of another and she gagged. My wife's burger was tasteless. It fell apart, all 1/4 inch thickness. Nothing better than a low end Walmart frozen patty. When I attempted to get the server to raise the issue, he was too busy socializing and cracking jokes with a table a few feet away. He and another server were telling all sorts of stories with people at the table. It took us around 7 minutes to finally flag down a bus boy to go get his attention. When the server came over, he addressed me initially as though I was making a mistake, almost questioning my concern. He asked to replace the wings and I said no. What was served was awful. The items weren't prepared with the wrong sauce or undercooked, these were "off". It took the server over 10 more minutes to remove the item from our bill. As we were moving out of the booth to leave, the manager came over and couldn't care any less. She made a non-serious gesture by asking if there was something she could order for us, AS WE WERE LEAVING. She demonstrated no concern, no apology, no empathy etc. She never came over to even ask for our input from the original issue. She didn't care, plain and simple. She dismissed us as though she was wasting her time even talking to us. I have a gift card balance of around $14 that will forever go unspent. I'm not sure what happened to this place but it's a complete mess when it comes to food and professionaiism.
