I was here 2 weeks ago and the Chicken Fingers' "Zingers" with Hot Garlic sauce I ordered was great. I asked to have them made extra crispy before getting tossed into the sauce and that's exactly what I got. The sauce was spicy and flavorful, not so hot that you can't taste the "Zingers" at all. The entire staff was friendly. Great service from my server! The hostess opened the door for a disabled person entering before me and held it open for me as well. The manager opened the door for me as I was leaving and thanked me for coming. Awesome dining experience all around! My wife and I walked in around 2:45 pm on a Saturday. The place was not really busy. We were greeted professionally and immediately seated (but were not asked where we preferred to sit). We waited about 5 minutes after being given menus before a "server" came over. This man seemed to think we were there for entertainment. Everything that came out of his mouth was loud and somewhat irritating. He wouldn't stop with the poor humor and refused it seemed to just act professionally. Placing our order was uncomfortable. We ordered a burger and salad for my wife and 12 wings for myself. When ordering, the server kept saying "AND" after we would state what we wanted. He was trying to push us to order more? He continued to a point that we almost got up and walked out. What he failed to realize was that we were out for a simple and quiet late afternoon meal, not a Gong Show audition by him. Almost 35 minutes passed. Yes, 35 minutes. The server stopped by and believe it or not, grabbed the table side ordering device and had to check to see if HE actually put in the order. He left and returned about 5 minutes later with the order. The wings were inedible. The first thing I noticed is they were dried out. Not even warm on the outside yet somewhat steamy on the inside. The sauce was dried out on most of them. And then came the taste test. Have you ever eaten wings that were old? The wings were so salty I almost spit them out. I held back due to being in a public area. The worst. Salt beyond understanding. I tried a second and the same thing. I had my wife try part of another and she gagged. My wife's burger was tasteless. It fell apart, all 1/4 inch thickness. Nothing better than a low end Walmart frozen patty. When I attempted to get the server to raise the issue, he was too busy socializing and cracking jokes with a table a few feet away. He and another server were telling all sorts of stories with people at the table. It took us around 7 minutes to finally flag down a bus boy to go get his attention. When the server came over, he addressed me initially as though I was making a mistake, almost questioning my concern. He asked to replace the wings and I said no. What was served was awful. The items weren't prepared with the wrong sauce or undercooked, these were "off". It took the server over 10 more minutes to remove the item from our bill. As we were moving out of the booth to leave, the manager came over and couldn't care any less. She made a non-serious gesture by asking if there was something she could order for us, AS WE WERE LEAVING. She demonstrated no concern, no apology, no empathy etc. She never came over to even ask for our input from the original issue. She didn't care, plain and simple. She dismissed us as though she was wasting her time even talking to us. I have a gift card balance of around $14 that will forever go unspent. I'm not sure what happened to this place but it's a complete mess when it comes to food and professionaiism. read more

Yes, we're back again!!!! another great milk at Miller's house. The Cobb salads were very good. The chicken and shrimp cooked perfectly and a salad that you could probably share between two people. Service was great. We were always checked on to see if we needed anything else. A casual dining with sports glare for the sports enthusiast.. more than you can count with every sport you can imagine. And if there's something that's not on that you want to see just ask and they would be more than happy to change the TV for you. It's really crowded over here by the outlets, bucc-ees and Sam's club but the millers is always a good choice when you need a lot of options and want to make everyone happy. I tried their new Orlando inspired dish (Mimi's fiesta bowl) which was like a burrito bowl. The one downside is that it was meant to come with two different sauces and mine came with neither. The only reason I noticed was because a friend at the table also ordered it and hers came with the sauce. Her order was delayed (not the restaurants fault) so by the time I realized I had eaten 3/4 of mine. It also felt small for the plate. Ordered a French onion soup and a bacon loaded burger. Very pleasant atmosphere on a Sunday at 2pm. Some games were playing on the screen but irrelevant for me. The French onion soup was large but ordinary. It had a lot of cheese which was great, but not a high quality cheese. It was over-loaded with bread, which was not so great. My burger was good but nothing exceptional. I guess Hunger is the best chef, 'cause I ate it all. I would give a 6/10 to the soup and a 7/10 for the burger. I'm gonna just go ahead and write this. Casual dining at best. Sat at the bar and the bartender was great. Bar backs up to the kitchen so get ready to hear the line cooks arguing and screaming. It was so loud I actually looked up to see what the commotion was. Got the chicken fajitas. With a whole onion and one pepper strip that was barely cooked. They offered to get me more but between the line cooks screaming, I really just wanted to eat and leave. Not much flavor to these fajitas. David was super apologetic but not his fault. Long time Ale House fan. Lived 20 years in Jupiter so very familiar with Ale House. I have been in the Daytona area for about 5 years now and frequented the prior location on International Speedway and the newer location on LPGA. For some reason the food and service seemed better at the previous location. I haven't been impressed recently and haven't been going as frequently. This last visit was worse than normal. I get sat at around 7:30 at a table and then no service for 10 minutes. It's not extremely busy and there seems to be plenty of staff. My waiter finally approached and greets me very weirdly. Not friendly at all. I give him my drink and food order and off he goes. 5 minutes later he comes back and says we are out of salmon. The interaction is once again odd. We started with a small salad $7.49 which was just fine. They play up the "Raving Fans E-club" online and in store, which we tried to sign up for a couple of weeks in advance, with 2 different emails, but nothing ever came with an offer. We let our server know but her response was "call corporate." Really. There are reasons we avoid chain restaurants. Ordering beer, based on their menu prices, and "discounts" available require some type of road map. When we asked our server for pricing on "drafts starting at $4.29" we were told she'd "have to ring it up to check " Really? Just bring me a cold Yuengling, any size, to start. Tonight a group of 11 went to Millers Ale House, after standing at the bar for 9-10 minutes decided we would just order from our table. The drink's took a while to get everyone's drinks, but we finally all had a drink of some sort. After all the food was finally delivered, mine had to be taken back to remove the cheese off a Medium cooked burger. When the burger came back out it was "very, very raw". The majority of the group ordered Osso Buco, or the special Prime Rib and had a very small baked potato. The only complaints I heard was that one persons Prime Rib was a little tuff, and two of the Osso Buso's tasted different from what they had in past. They also thought they were a lot smaller. But it all worked out, I came home to cook my burger which tasted good. I would say this place did very well with a walk in group of 11. Thank you to the waitress, that did very well. read more

We were driving home from Orlando on Saturday around noon and decided to stop here for lunch. It was a pleasant experience. Our friendly and sweet waitress, Pumpkin, quickly came over to take our order. The menu has plenty of options for everyone. I opted for the zingers salad. It came with about 5 pieces of chicken tenders in whichever sauce you wanted. I chose Buffalo sauce, and it was just right. The salad also had greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and shredded cheddar cheese. It was a good-sized salad. My husband had a Philly cheesesteak with broccoli as a side. He also enjoyed his lunch. We chose this new location to use a gift card from Christmas. After reading several mixed reviews and not expecting a lot we were pleasantly surprised by great service and good food. We arrived at 4:55 pm on a Saturday to be told there was a 25 minute wait. We were seated at 5:25 pm then soon greeted by our server Markeysia (aka Stoney Baloney - her own introduction) who quickly brought water, then took the order. Our selection included the Classic cheeseburger, the Cue Bacon Cheeseburger and for dessert the signature Captain Jack's ice cream cake. Everything was delivered hot and flavorful. Our burgers were ordered medium and medium well but were slightly undercooked, however not enough to send back. Fries were seasoned well and served hot. The star of the meal was dessert, a must have! I have been to the south many times and always passed Miller's thinking it would be good. I was highly dissatisfied with my trip here. To start, the food was not good like I was hoping. The zingers mountain melt was gross, the cheese and fries were soggy (like they were sitting in the expo window too long) and not tossed in the sauce that I asked for. The salad was okay, a lot more lettuce than toppings which left the end of the salad to be not so appetizing. The kitchen was directly in the middle of the bar top, which isn't an issue, but the woman who was the expo was screaming and cussing at the kitchen workers and hitting the countertop where everyone in that section could very clearly hear. I have worked in restaurants and I know how the kitchen gets stressful, but this was a lot especially being in the center of the bar. Very unappealing, and the restaurant was not that busy. I have heard great things about Miller's but I won't be returning, at least to this location. I may give another one a try if the opportunity comes. read more

This place was very lively and bustling on a Sunday afternoon. Everyone was interested in the various sporting events (NFL games) that were going on! Our server was delightful and the food came to our table in a timely manner. Most of the food was okay, but my grilled chicken was as tough as leather. I really didn't enjoy my meal at all. The bacon on the grilled chicken BLT was tough and chewy too. At least hubby's meal was okay. I really liked the variety of the menu. There is something for everyone. The amount of calories are listed for each menu item too. That way, you can make a low-calorie choice if you need to. Vegetarian items are also marked with a "V". Just coming down from PA and with some time to kill, we opted to get off and explore the ever expanding and burgeoning in/on/around LPGA Blvd shopping complex. Tons of chain dining and shopping options galore include the ever omni-present Buc-ee's. We rumble in about 45 minutes after opening on a Thursday and the place is packed. We got seated at a table in the bar area and to a degree we really should have left or asked to move. We might as well have been standing on the deck of an aircraft carrier when they scramble the jets because it was loony-loud. Multiple TV's - piped in music and the area itself was full with a lot of people who were sounding like they were doing a good job having a liquid lunch. Whatever. Service was actually the one really, really bright spot. She kept the refills coming and when it came time to go the check was presented and processed with minimal wait considering she basically had the bulk of the bar area seating. Zingers Mac & Cheese and Chimichurri Steak Salad Thankfully our server mentioned right away when I asked about the Mac & Cheese that even though the menu mentions it being bite sized (and the pieces sure as hell are more than small enough to be called bite sized) pieces of medium sauce chicken, they'll be more than happy to make it with any sauce they offer and that she wishes the corporate menus/website would reflect that. Anyway, the salad was good although nothing about the chimichurri sauce was zesty and the portion size on the M&C is definitely on the smaller almost what you would call a lunch portion except no such thing exists, it's just Zingers M&C. Overall this was a perfectly acceptable middle of the road corporate chain restaurant lunch that neither offends but also doesn't overwhelm either. It only serves to remind that while it was a means to an end, I don't really ever go to the Miller's near home and I doubt we'll be back here again. Meh. read more

This is place just opened up not to long ago un our booming outlet center off of LPGA. Heard great things about this place but...so when you first walk in its a very small waiting area, so if they have a line for seating and you're trying to get out of the restaurant, it's almost like I4, you're stuck! Lol. The hostess was very nice and we got sat immediately. We were sat at a high top for 6 by the bar. The bar area is really nice and has several tvs playing a little bit of everything. They have a mega selection of craft beers, we tried a blue boy beer which was absolutely delicious. It had a hint of blueberry that paired perfect w the beer. I had a Moscato which was very good. Our server idk her name but she was good but overly attentive like every min on the min she would come and ask are yall ready yet lol. I wasn't annoyed but my other patrons were. I thought it was funny. Now to the food, definitely NOT impressed. We ordered a mini nachos and loaded cheese fries. The type of cheese they used was shredded and it was like they threw cheese on it and threw that bad boy in the microwave. The nachos, they could of done better, there was hardly anything on the nachos. The loaded fries looked like they had sat for a while. Then our main course came out, again not impressed especially for the price. I ordered the prime burger which has white American cheese, shaved prime rib(which tbh looked like it was a few weeks old), onions, gravy and crispy onion tanglers. I ordered it medium well and got it still mooing . I ate it anyways cause I hate one sending food back and two I just hate complaining. I ate maybe 3 bites. My husband got chicken fajitas and he said they were very bland. Overall I won't be back to eat here but definitely back for a cold one on game day. read more

My four star review will not make much sense by the end of my review. Just had to put that out there. I am not a fan of spending money on dinner at chain restaurants, I like independent family owned places. We went out to dinner at Miller's Ale House with four friends on Thursday. The space is your basic sports bar, the menu is also mainly bar food. That being said, the salad I ordered was the Zinger salad and was quite good. Zingers are boneless chicken tenders with your choice of sauce. I went with sweet chili. Loved it! One friend had the Cobb and also loved it. My husband got the daily prime rib special. It was woefully overcooked. I would have sent it back-but he didn't. The person who got the quesadillas really enjoyed it. I do like the fact that they put calorie totals on everything. Some meals were in the 1600-1800 range, which is crazy! The service was what you'd expect, pretty average. In short, I'd go back, and could find something I like, but I won't be the one suggesting it. read more

Of course a meal at Miller's is not complete until you share a Captain Jack's Buried Treasure for dessert. The prices are fair and reasonable, with large portions. Went on Thursday and got the prime rib dinner which I ordered medium. Steak came out more like rare and also only came with a baked potato and not the vegetables like it stated on the menu. When we asked the waitress about the vegetables she said they did not come with it but you can see for yourself on the menu, it says vegetables AND a side. Steak was mostly tough and I think it's because it wasn't cooked. Also got a Guinness stout beer and it was quite bitter. Not impressed with the visit. read more

My family and I ate at this restaurant after an afternoon and evening of shopping. We had a terrible experience! It took forever for our order to be taken and when it was taken, we sat for about 7-10 waiting and the server comes back and says they didn't have any ribs which was the evening special. She did apologize and we settled for other menu items that we really didn't want. I suggested leaving, however everyone else in my group was really hungry and didn't want to go somewhere else and have to wait for food so we stayed. We waited another 30-40 mins before our food came out. There was never a visit from the manager, she just kept walking by our table but never offered an apology! On Monday night, it's very clean and was able to sit right down. We went so my husband who loves the Osso Buco, ($20+), could get it. Although it was a just a little fatty, it's pork and understandable. I always get the Cobb Salad. The only mix-up was I do not eat cheese and asked for it on the side and the communication got lost, my salad was loaded with it. The blue cheese crumbles and dressing was on the side.
