Dean answered my questions about current decorating trends and assisted me in finding just what I needed to help me blend my aesthetic with potential resale value in a couple of years. The price was also better than I expected. My only two suggestions for improvement would be, 1) add signage to show there was floor tile in the center of the store. I saw the sign for "decorative floor tile" but did not realize there was other, less expensive, floor tile elsewhere in a separate area, and 2) have people on the floor ask customers if they need help. I was wandering in the wrong area and 4 different employees either stood talking to each other or were putting new samples on the wall who basically ignored me.

Mr Amison at the Aurora store knew return policies and courtesy to customers who are following the corporate return policies. I felt reassured that my shopping at the Aurora store was valued. Not so at the COUNTRYSIDE store, where aggressive nastiness is a norm and where the MANAGER decides the return policy. I will have Floor and Decor LAST on my list of places to shop, but if I do return, it will only be to the AURORA store.

He put quickly put together a quote and plan showing where all the pieces should go in a very easy to follow diagram. We had issue when one of our cabinets that came in and the drawer units where different so needed two additional pieces and without asking Shawn ordered the two pieces and got them to use quickly so as not to slow down our project timeline. I bought an 8x8 shed from Tuff Shed and was told it would also need anchors which are required by…read moreNaperville. I was told the anchors would be installed by the crew when the shed was built. I was given also given a recommendation for somebody to prepare the shed base, a guy named Tony. Tony quoted $1,200, which seemed very high to me, so I got 3 other quotes from Angie, which ranged from $600 to $800 and included 4x4 lumber frame. Tony agreed to $800, but argued about the 4x4 lumber. He wanted to use 2x lumber, but finally agreed. The only reason I wanted to go with Tony is because he was recommended by Tuff Shed, and I wanted it done right. I told Tony it needed to be big enough so anchors could be put in and he said he knew about that. I asked him to contact Bill if he had any questions. After the shed was built, I saw that there were no anchors put in. Bill said he didn't understand why, but would check on it. Tuff shed then told me I would need to pay an additional $220.00 for the anchors, even though I was told it was included in the original price by Bill. I paid, and when they came to install them, I was told there was not enough clearance around the shed base to put the auger type anchors in that I paid for. Instead, they put in these flimsy wire type anchors on the outside of the wood frame, into the dirt. Tuff shed would not credit me with a refund for the cheap wire anchors. I then realized just how bad a job Tony did on the frame. The entire back of the shed 4x4 is floating above the ground. You can put your foot under the 4x4 in the back. It seems to be nailed in to the 4x4's on the sides. I wonder how long it will be before this thing collapses and spills the gravel out? I let Tony know I was unhappy with what he had done, and he claimed he would take care of it. Weeks later, no word. Now I see, the cheap wire anchors are loose. There is a lot of slack in at least one of them now. Maybe the base is starting to collapse? I do blame Tuff Shed for at least part of this problem, being that Tony was their recommendation. I'm really aggravated with Tuff Shed. Yes, Bill is "Nice", Tuff Shed is "Nice". All the "Nice" people that can't seen to do their job. The strange thing is, I really like the shed. I put on the second coat of paint they left for me, and it looks good. The build seems sturdy, which is why I went with Tuff Shed to begin with. That being said, I so regret going with them. I should have just gotten quotes from Angie and had a qualified person do the base and the shed. Good luck to you if you are looking to have a shed built. Try to find a place that stands by their work, and takes responsibility for the base and shed. I will probably need to go with Angie to find somebody to fix this mess. Ideally, I would like to have the base redone, so there is room to fit the proper anchors in, and the base is not floating above the ground.

Most establishments prices were much more expensive so we were getting discouraged. Enter Lumber Liquidators. They didn't have a sample in stock of the style we were interested in. But they sent one FedEx no charge, which came very quickly! We loved it and called to make sure they had enough in stock. They made sure we had the rest of the supplies we needed, and helped load it into our vehicle. I will update on the quality once we get it installed, but it looks comparable to any other brands.

Finally, after nine long months, my furniture has arrived! Yay!…read more I ordered the furniture on New Year's Day 2022, and today was the day. What brought me here was two-fold: the immediate reason is that they had a daybed on clearance and I needed a guest bed; I had been looking for a full-sized daybed since it could serve multiple purposes. In addition, I had been looking at sofas for months and noticed in their catalog a couch with arms that had a pleated arm, which I have not seen before. Usually in couches I see a standard track, sock, or some other similar arm, but I loved the look of the pleat. I had intended to only purchase the daybed, but decided I might as well just get it all. I didn't realize how backlogged they were so it's good I did. The process of ordering was... for me... involved, but others I am certain won't take as long. I wanted to make the perfect choice for me, so I looked at basically every fabric they had. You might think that's hyperbole but I honestly think I did. The only thing I knew I wanted was for it to be very firm and for it to have pleats on the arms. I spent 3-5 hours at the store that day viewing couches, fabrics, deciding on pillow fabrics, and so on. There actually was a big snowstorm that day and they sent a few people home and by the time I left I had to drive like 40 miles per hour home from Glendale Heights to Ravenswood, but Chris (who no longer works there) was very patient and the other folks who work there were great too. I need to get an ottoman for my new couch, and I'd be happy to work with any of these designers. However, my review is a bit mixed, unfortunately. Whilst working with the designers was good and they were very helpful, the delivery wasn't as good. I decided to err on the side of a higher review so that I don't give too much weight to this somewhat small thing, but the delivery was a problem in two ways. One, when I asked the guy if he could lift the daybed slightly so I could adjust the rug that was underneath, he gave me a look like I had called him a slur and grudgingly moved it a tiny bit. His reaction made me not want to ask him for help so I just struggled with it later on my own. Secondly, I noticed when I returned upstairs that they had gotten some sort of brown goo on my brand new (fewer than two and a half weeks) painted walls. I tried washing it off but only got so much. So now I have to correct that, which is really, really annoying.

We went to specifically select tile, but was open to view counter material in stock and if we liked something else from what we already picked somewhere else. Walking in, the woman at the front desk "greeting" you, doesn't look up or at you when speaking, rambles off where to find which kind of tile, while continue working on whatever engaged her more than potential customers. We came prepared with cabinet samples and ideas and started browsing around for nearly 15 minutes. Not once, did anyone come by to ask if we need help finding anything or if we have questions. I went to the front desk to inquire about a tile I liked on their website to see if they have it in-store to view. Again, the front desk representative, continued working on whatever was more important, without looking at me, and "explained" where I could find it. When I repeated the location back to her, she spoke over her shoulder without making eye contact, and said "It's somewhere between the 3rd and 4th rack; just look, you'll see it." We decided in that moment, that we'd prefer to NOT buy tile here. To the Management - the people you employ, represent you and your company. Either, training is lacking, or your employees do not value your customers in the same way you do. To the Front Desk employee - when you have a job, that is customer-facing, you need to be engaging and actually look them in the eye when speaking to them. If you do not feel comfortable doing so, you are in the wrong position, and need to apply for something that's at a desk, where you only interact with a computer.
