I printed 8 choices of comforters and quilts from the Kohl's website. I drove all the way to Bleachery blvd and this Kohl's didn't have one single item that I wanted to choose. there were no sales people at all to help me. the only person I saw was at a register. I am not going to order from the website without looking at the item in person. there was one Vera Wang comforter that I saw but it was zippered + locked (?) so I couldn't feel it. Shopped here since they opened ... I purchased $200 in gift cards for two tween grand daughters ....found out 24 later they prefer another store. I called to please ask to return with sales receipts if I could please get a refund to purchase their gifts from the store they prefer. I was honest with a super nice lady who answered the phone. Was told by her the manager said no. Living on a budget sucks; but that you cannot return with a receipt - that's messed up. Do not order from this store! My Visa has been charge twice and the shipment has not arrived (Ordered Nov.23). I expected a delay in shipping because of covid, but I cannot even track this item. I spoke to a Rep from this location and she said she could not process a refund! Even as I write this I have been in an online chat with Kohl's for 1 hour and 55 minutes. I moved here from rural NC. The Kohl's where I lived in the country had way more selection than this one. Maybe ten odd sizes of men's dress shoes. Hardly any jeans with regular sizes. Store is very unorganized compared to any Kohl's I've been to and I've been to many. Will not return to this one. Don't waste your time. If you do go, do so with no expectations.The update at the register for a Kohl's card is ridiculous. If I tell them NO , they still keep pressuring. I am new to Asheville having just moved from California. When I make purchases via Amazon I am directed to return via Kohl's. As a rule they handle as they should. EXCEPT this is not true with this store. They bumbled the return right from the start. After I addressed the issue ( on yet another visit), I was falsely promised that though they were not very good at this???? they would see what they could do. I just called AGAIN & was told the Amazon supervisor was to look into it???? Look into what!? I have the Kolh's return tag. How is it I don't have a refund??? If nothing else, give me back my product. So the lesson here is....if you make an Amazon return to the Asheville Kolh's you might get screwed... Just saying. FOLLOWUP: So I just called Amazon. I would love to shop in this store, but it is just too hot inside. I walked in a couple of days ago, and it was so stuffy that I almost left immediately. I decided to do some quick shopping anyway, as I really like some of their clothing lines. While trying on a few things, I felt like I was melting in the dressing room; who wants to try on clothing while sweating?? I ended up grabbing a couple of things to purchase and try on at home. I'll have to return what doesn't work. NOT the way I want to shop! I would have purchased much more, but I'll shop elsewhere. I understand saving money on energy costs, but come on Kohl's! Khol's credit card charged me a late fee when a payment was posted from my bank on the 20th of the month. My payment is due on the 22nd of the month. This total wrong when the payment was made two days before the due date. Not all Kohls are created equal, as I recently learned after moving to Atlanta. Not only are they far and few between in the ATL, but the selection is lacking. This location, in Asheville, has made me very aware that some are WAY better than others. Most importantly, this one has an excellent selection of Lauren Conrad clothes and accessories. And that's pretty much my number 1 reason to go to Kohls. It's my favorite department store and the only one that carries LC. I know what you're thinking, but go see (shop) for yourself, and you'll see this one is a cut above the rest. read more

Kohl's has excellent sales and exclusives. I like this one because it is quiet. Strange, but true. It is busy, but not enough to turn you off. They have a great selection of clothing. I bought my sexiest dress ever for five bucks and my wedding duds at a Jersey Kohl's for under twenty bucks. 1928 jewelry is there, and I have loved it since 1997ish. Employees are nice. So are the bathrooms. I love the cosmetics, but can only covet and not have. If you miss department stores but can't stand those strange chimes that emanate from somewhere in the upper atmosphere of said stores, then get to Kohl's. read more

I love Kohls and it's nothing against their products but it's how they run their business. I have been a customer with Kohls for years and I've never had a problem until today. I had $60 Kohls cash and it was expired by a week and they wouldn't let me redeem it. Why does Kohls cash need to expire if I spend hundreds of dollars to earn that money back? I find it hilarious that they advertise hassle free returns. Stood in a long line, with as low service. Couldn't even just give us a gift card without the receipt. They offered an exchange but could only exchange for ONE item that was that EXACT price. We've been here for 30 minutes trying to find something else for the $87.99 price even though the original item is listed at 89.99. The staff was so unhelpful. This store needs to close down for a day and clean itself up!!!! The women's department is a complete disaster. Clothes are just shoved on racks without any order of style or size. There are 10 or so shelves of Levis folded jeans that are the same way. You can't go to the shelf that says size 8/10 and find an 8 or a 10. You may also find a pair of non Levi jeans, as well as men's jeans and boys jeans. It's extremely frustrating to shop here. One woman said she was just going to give up because she was so aggravated, so you've lost a customer and she may not come back. Seriously, how did it get this bad?? I expect the clearance racks to be this way, but not the entire store. Please, for the love of shopping, get this place organized for the holiday season!!! read more
