Attempted to pick up an online order that was in two parts. Picked the first part but the system incorrectly processed both parts. Asked for help and was referred to manager Donna. Donna advised the staff who updated the order that day were gone so nothing could be figured out. Then she offered the following: go home and call back tomorrow, assume the 2nd part of the order was cancelled and a credit would be received. Not acceptable. I asked the following: process a return for the item not received, check the store and see if the item is there, at least provide documentation that I was leaving the store without the full order. Response was a hard "NO" to all three. I advised the situation was not acceptable but nothing else was offered. When I persisted she became belligerent and reiterated there was nothing she could do (or was willing to do more accurately). I still persisted and finally she called someone else. It was then quickly figured out the 2nd part was indeed there but in a different location. If I had followed any of her suggestions I would have never received the rest of the order nor a refund. I have been a Kohl's customer for 35 years and this is by far the worst treatment I have ever received. This person should not have a job that includes customer service. read more

I put something on hold November 30 for a 24 hour hold. I told them that I would be back on December 1 and I came back on December 1. The item I had put on hold was put back before 24 hours. This Kohl's location is connected to Stratford Square Mall. The entrances on the upper level are closed for the public to enter into. Customers can only enter via the lower level. I love it when I get the 30% off mailers, I always feel like I've won something! Yes, I've won the opportunity to go and spend more money! Then I get Kohl's cash so of course I have to go back to "spend" that cash. And then I get more cash back! The cycle continues! It's always fun to come home and let my hubby know how much money I've saved him with all the sales pricing, % off mailers, and Kohl's cash. The quantity of items is definitely scaled back but still enough to have fun browsing. The check out line is funneled into one line and then customers are called to the next available cashier. I am extremely disgusted with how I was treated tonight. I'm not from around here, I just stopped in to use the restroom. I looked at a few colognes and was literally on my way out of the door when an associate with teal/green hair, exclaims to me rudely that she's going to have to ask me to leave, if I'm not going to purchase anything. again I was on my way out of the door, me and my friend, who is white. (this is important). I told her, "oh that's fine we were actually just walking out anyways" and she gives me a dirty look. when I leave I can see the woman staring at me, and her and her coworkers laughing. so I walk further away and they're staring at me, and all of a sudden the cops are being called. and I 100% believe it's because of my skin color. I am severely disappointed, I can't even use the restroom or window shop without being discriminated against, I hope that this place learns a lesson. If you're a size zero, this place is for you. If you enjoy sifting through giant messes of mixed up clearance items that are almost a year old, hunting for floor staff, sweating while you shop, and waiting in long lines at the checkout, you probably will love this place. Tons of clothes in sizes 0, 1, XS and S. The person I was buying for usually wears an XL top. I would've bought several items, if only they bothered to carry the full range of sizes. It's July, and I found fall & winter clothes in the clearance mess. It was so jammed and disorganized that it honestly wasn't worth more than a minute of my time to look. Staff were scarce. Only 2 people at registers, yet 20+ customers waiting in line. It was also DAMN HOT in that store today! Turn up the A/C already! I won't be back. Buh-bye, Kohl's. read more

It would be great if they would update the signage and pricing here! I recently went in to purchase toys for my son. I was looking at a puzzle that had the price tag blacked out (presumably a gift that was returned). I had to go to the register to get the price. When I worked retail, we would ensure that returned items such as this got a new sticker, so there's that. The woman at the register told me that the puzzle was part of a BOGO 50% off promo. There was no signage by the puzzles - or even that entire shelf - that indicated any sales or BOGOS. Had I not asked, I would have left with just one item. It would be beneficial for both the customer AND Kohl's to keep their items ticketed and their signage updated: doing so would prevent customer confusion and frustration, and would increase revenue. I would also love it if Kohl's stores had carts that were large enough to hold a car seat! read more

I love to shop at this department store because they opened late at night. During holidays, the store closes at 1am. This time I was here for my daughter's shoes for her law class. My daughter just found out her old shoes did not fit her anymore. We rushed inside and looked for her size. They had a large collection of adults and children's shoes; however, my daughter could not find any shoes in her size. Nevertheless, It was organized and cleaned. I got a tad sidetracked after being unsuccessful in searching for my daughter's shoes and wandered into the women's section where there was a wide range of sizes for all body types. I most enjoy the different types of clothing for all styles. There is also an incredibly inclusive men's section for larger men. I always have a great experience with the staff and I continue to receive such amazing customer service. Sometimes the store may be a bit messy but small things can be overlooked. I will lost definitely be returning. read more

I like Khol's for baby items and occasionally for their clothes. I really like the LC line for women. I always get compliments when I wear her line. What prompted me to write this review was my Friday night experience with the new amazon returns center (which I believe are still Khol's employees?) 1. I am so glad they moved the return center right up to the front. It totally saves me time with my little one. 2. The new area looks very nice. 3. The employee I worked with was SO nice. What a treat during a busy holiday season. He commented on how cute the gloves were that I bought for my daughter and mentioned how it was too bad they were too little for her, since they were so cute. He could've easily stood there and said nothing, but he took the time to have a little chat. I wish all store employees had the attitude of this man. Last time I went, there was one person in front of me and I had a cart full, and it took me almost 15 minutes just to get out of there. It should not take that long unless you are going through my clothes and cutting the tags off them, alright? Then of course at the end of the payment process, you get the, "Please go online to tell them about how happy you were with this experience." Let me tell you something Kohls. I liked the experience on my recent visit here to Khol's. I decided to visit the department store, hoping to buy some good stuff, clothes and all. The store was not super busy, which I really liked, and I was free to roam around as much as I wanted. It is also clean and well-lit. I also like that almost everything in the store is organized and it is really pleasing to the eyes. I was hoping for some good and useful shopping, and I think I did. I bought a lot of stuff for myself. I love everything I bought, particularly the clothes and shoes. I was hesitant at first, but after I saw the prices, my hesitancy lessened because I realized that the prices were fair and reasonable, and at the same time, a great deal. I also like the quality of everything, which is definitely great, especially for those branded items that are very comfortable to use. The quality is just generally great and definitely worth it. read more

If I could give a zero star I would today. I will not be going back to kohl's and I will cancel my credit card. Bad management today at the Stratford square mall store. I was buying two pairs of UA shoes and there was a tag on the shoes one for $39.99 and $34.99. One of the pair rang incorrectly so I told the cashier. She called management and manager checked. The manager came down with the price tag and it was attached to the wrong shoe. Clearly it was done by an employee since you had to cut it off the shoe. You should've done the right thing and honored the price for the shoe I was buying and then remove the tag and make the customer happy. That's what any other store would've done to bring a customer back especially during these times when business is slow. Plus you have limited your coupons to certain items so I couldn't even use it on the shoes because they were UA brand. I've been a kohl's customer for over 20 years. Good riddance kohl's. Store Review: Clothing clothing more clothing. This is a great store when clothes are on sale (not the gold star event) and you can use the 30% off coupon. This location is well stocked and often you can find a good deal if the seasons are changing. Unfortunately the quality is slightly lower than Macy and you are less likely to find as much name brand apparel. For kids this is great though! Went today to buy a few pairs of joggers. Had a couple of questions Waited patiently for some assistance. After 20 minutes of no help, i was staring at security cameras and walking in circles trying to get someone's attention. Got frustrated and walked up to the cashiers for assistance and reply was we don't offer help on clothing items such as inseam ect. Went to Dicks sporting goods, recieved assistance and checked out with 5 pairs. Khols needs to tell there employees that no customers means that you have no job. Beware of jacked up prices, especially on Star Wars stuff you can find for 40% less at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Meijer, or even Toys R Us and Target. During Christmas they have a little island of toys right off the mall entrance on the second floor. You are probably thinking, "Well, that is Star Wars stuff, who cares?" My point is that their pricing on silly stuff like this is PROBABLY a good indication on their pricing for their other merchandise. Single action figures - 11.99. (7.49 at Wal-Mart, Target, and Meijer) Set of "2" action figures - 21.99 (14.99 at Wal-mart, Target, and Meijer) This is gouging, plain and simple. I noticed this last Christmas time also, because the toys were located at the same location right off the mall entrance. This Kohl's just seems dumpier than the Wheaton one. I hit this store yesterday trying to find some jeans for son #2. He is 13, wears a 30x30 size and it's all muscle! So we have to get loose fitting jeans to fit over his thigs and we have to avoid some brands, like Levis. Even though they say loose fitting, they might not be loose enough. I found that most of the clothing in the men's department was not very organized, particularly the blue jeans. It was hard to find them since instead of having all the jeans together, they had multiple displays spread throughout the men's section. I think I got the only 30x30s in the store as most of the sizes were MUCH larger. I'm talking they had several with size 40 waist! Now us women know that it's not that big of a deal to have multiple displays spread out, but it's different for a teenage boy. Have you ever taken a teenage boy shopping? It's like getting root canal without any drugs! Anyway, as far as the rest of the store goes, it was messy. Not as bad as the day after Thanksgiving, but they could have used some refolding and restacking everywhere I looked. Our checkout experience was kind of a pain. Even though there was nobody in line ahead of us, the employee apparently didn't understand how to move faster than dirt. I also had a question about a buy one get one 1/2 off promotion and he had a hard time understanding what I was asking ("Can I get 50% off the belt by buying the tie since they are both men's accessories?"). Yes! So I would have rather hit the Wheaton Kohl's, but was afraid I would have to venture in the mall to find the elusive jeans. read more

I made a return at this location this week and was a bit disturbed by the customer service department. The actual transaction was boring -- not much to tell. But two workers felt it appropriate to hold a conversation by shouting from the Customer Service desk to where the other worker was in a department by shouting like directly in my ear! OUCH! The rest of the store is very typical of a Kohl's. It appears that the staff kept the store up nicely and we were able to find everything we needed very quickly. read more

There is a woman by the name Marilyn working down stairs on June 26th, and honestly you need more employees such as her! She greeted every customer with an amazing greeting while checking out! She was happy to check you out and did all she could to help you out saving the $! With my Kohl's card today saved 263.00!! So my review is 2 parts; 1 for the Amazon return and 2nd is my shopping experience at Kohl's. 1) Amazon Experience: On a scale from 1 to 5; 5 representing the best score. I give Kohl's a 4.5 for my 1st time experience. As soon as I entered the store, (2nd floor entrance by Sears), I was greeted by a sign for Amazon Returns..so i followed the directions of the arrows..make a right __take elevator downstairs __make a right __make a left and then ...at this point is where i deducted a HALF point ..no sign to tell me where to go..thankfully, a nice saleswomen took care of my return. PLUS I did rec'd a 25% off coupon valid for 7 days & the cannot be used on 'Name Brand' items. I didn't use them so I gave them to a friend. 2) Shopping was Okay- nothing made Kohl's stand out. Especially when I walked by a number of employees; NOT 1 asked if i needed assistance!! this visit took place on a Monday, early, afternoon!! the store was slow!!!
