i've been on a quest for a good pair of sweatpants for a few months. Old Navy came up in a search and I found some, even though the colors aren't my first choice. While I was shopping, the site kept nagging me about hurry up it's going fast. Very annoying. I was going to buy two pairs, but it said that one of the pairs I bought had already sold out, so I added a third pair. The three pairs were supposed to put me over the total for free shipping. When I checked out with PayPal, it gave a message that Old Navy doesn't ship to my address. This doesn't make sense, as I live in a big city where my neighbors and I get packages all the time. I tried ApplePay, and it opened and closed itself immediately. I decided there was something very wrong here and closed the whole thing. When I checked my email, the order had gone through. I had a confirmation from both Old Navy and PayPal. They did not give me free shipping even though I was over $50, they charged for shipping. Old Navy, please put less effort into nagging and rushing your customers and more effort into making sure your checkout process works and your promises re free shipping are kept. read more

My first time spending more than 20 minutes in this store. I was looking for fleece jackets for my daughter and I to prepare for this winter. The store is clean. The staff was friendly and professional. I had been over charged compared to the sale price. The staff quickly changed the prices and gave us a refund. The fitting rooms are fairly clean. The rack to return clothes to is a bit chaotic but what's a genuine store without a little bit of a mess? The genders are easily organized on two different sides of the store and the kids section is all the way in the back. The store is easy to navigate and there is a large variety of clothing types for all body shapes. I also saw some jackets on sale based on the store email. However, there were no signs at this store about it. I will come back in the future. I recommended to pay more attention at the register as youre being checked out. That will save you some time not to go back for a refund. read more

Everything is organized and clean. I could not find fault with anything. The staff was friendly and helpful. The store is well managed. The store has up to date clothing and sales prices. Love how everything is displayed with the best stuff up in front. Great store I'm able to find clothing easy even their Clearance section are organized. Store is well lit. I can always find something stylish that fits pretty well, and pull an ensemble or two together, without breaking the bank. Very pleasant shopping experience. Always great service.. lines are quick. Old Navy has some nice stuff!! I never really shop here, but for my fiance's jean needs, but now that I have spent some time in here over the weekend, I have become a fan. It's not the most organized store in the world, thanks to the people who just unfold clothes to look at them and throw them back on the table, or worse, the floor. But, it's a pretty cool store. Most of their clothes are pretty decent quality and they have a fairly wide variety of sizes. Perhaps, one day they will consider extending their size range. I barely fit in their largest womens' size and I'm not THAT big. However, I like my clothes a little more loose fitting that most. I don't really shop here for myself, but more for then men's clothing. My fiance is a simple man and doesn't like a lot of flash, so Old Navy caters to his taste being that they are very simple in their designs, but in a clean cut way. The staff and customer service is exceptional. This is the kind of place I would want to work if I worked retail. Friendly people and fun environment. Can't complain about that. I went in with my sis to find her hubby a few things because we had coupons and after checking out, learned of their friends and family special deal that if we had the coupon printed from the internet, they would have given us another 30% off our purchase. So, the next morning, it was my first stop and the gal working the register adjusted my receipt no problem!! Thank you, Old Navy staff!! You rock! Old Navy Bloomingdale IL. I tried to do an exchange on a kid's shirt for med to large. I did a curb side pick up last night at this store. Today the lady won't do an even exchange and charged me double the price of what I paid for originally because she wont honor the price I got the first shirt for. The last time I came here I was in high school, I didnt remember loving it. I was browsing the internet looking for yoga clothing. I didnt want to go to Lululemon as I didnt know if I would actually like yoga or would end up committing to it. I ended up on the Old Navy website and was really liking what I was seeing. I came into the store it was quite busy, understandable, it was a Saturday. I walked straight down towards the back of the store and there I found womens active section. I was pretty impressed, the yoga pants were about $32 but they had a sale going on for 50% off. I ended up buying way more than I needed. I walked out with 3 tops, sandals and a pair of yoga pants for $65. Not bad at all!! I will return when I need more work out clothing. They also gave me $20 Old Navy bucks to use towards my next purchase, I will drop by to pick up some more workout gear or plain t-shirts for a casual weekend. read more

They usually have a good selection of kid clothes and stuff on clearance here, but I've had to order women's stuff online due to the lack of selection at this store. I don't have to get anything dressy, I usually get sweaters or shorts here and they never seem to have my size in the style I want. My usual visit here involves finding something similar to what I like and trying it on and then leaving and ordering online. They have deals every day, so there's no worry about missing out on the BIG sale! read more

I really don't like clothes shopping and try not to go if I could. However this store is a bit different from others clothing store. Their price were average compared with the others. Quality clothes are below my expectations because of the price, "you get what you pay for ". They have variety of clothes from casual to sport, but in the small section. Staff was not friendly, because I might asked them at wrong time. You must keep an eye on the price because I saw advertising price let say $7.99, but at check out was $15.99. I didn't realize about it until we were about to leave the store. I brought my concern to one of the cashier and she didn't show any emotional at all. All she said was this much will be refund to your credit card. That attitude made me wonder if it is common happening to the store, that is why the cashier wasn't surprised. I am not sure if I want to come back to this store again and if I do, then I have to watching out for the price. read more

Ok, writing reviews for an Old Navy is bit of a stretch but I thought this store was notable. First, let me tell you that this is the smallest Old Navy (in sq ft) that I have ever been inside. Realizing this as I walked in, I braced for chaos. But chaos never came. In fact, I was pretty impressed. The store was meticulous. I could hardly believe it was a Saturday early-evening. I certainly expected the place to be much like the other, larger Old Navy stores where you can't find anything and the place is a disaster area. But no, everything had a place, the sizes were in order and the staff -- get this -- were friendly! I was able to get in, find the items I needed and get out with zero hassle. read more

I came on Christmas Eve (crazy, I know, but my Groupon was expiring that day). And one might expect a shop to be low on goods the last night of the year that you can procrastinate and give someone a present on time. So had I come directly here then I might not have been surprised to find the shelves and racks bare; however, I came directly from the Old Navy near Woodfield and hadn't had a single problem. Everything was stocked, there were tons of sizes to choose from and the checkout line was fast with friendly cashiers. But not this one. I spent about half an hour at the store just trying to locate a pair of pajama pants. They had a number of designs to choose from, but all of them were either XS or S and I needed a L. I went through each row of bottoms one by one and checked all the tags. I finally found two pairs of L out of the hundreds I searched through and they weren't even on the correctly sized hanger. I probably would have bought some shirts to go with, but I didn't have the patience. There wasn't much of a selection of anything else. I hate shopping here. Things are jammed packed and there is NEVER enough people to checkout. (I have to find the causal clothing for women online. They do not carry enough here). It takes FOREVER to checkout!! We were 5 deep this morning and one person at check out who was also processing a return. I got fed up and left my items and walked out. read more

To start off I would not even give the customer service in this store and the store manager, Kent, even one star. I waited in line for 20 minutes while one cashier checked out a line a twenty people. Kent, the store manger proceeded to the register, checked out one person then walked away leaving a line of at least twenty more people waiting. She proceeded to fold random pairs of jeans, took out the trash, moved items from one end of the counter to the other, all in an attempt to "look " busy. I don't know what's up with this location. I stopped in looking for Christmas tees for my son (and any other deal I might find!). I found a couple, but one of them, with Buzz Lightyear on it) rang up as $14.97. This seems like a lot to spend on an ON tee for a 3 year old... Also, I was never asked if I needed any help even though there were a ton of workers there. It's not like they were helping anyone else or anything, they were just "there". Just a quick update for this Old Navy location. The deals are great! I've now got my hubby wearing their jeans on occasion which always seem to be on sale when I'm here. I made a purchase one day and a return the very next - both transactions were quick and painless. The service is always good and the staff is always available. The shelves and racks can get messy but it's okay because I can still find what I am looking for without getting too agitated. My only wish is for plus size clothes at this location someday. read more

Went into the Bloomingdale store today to pick up an online order. Beautiful store, laid out well with all Old Navy product displayed nicely. However, if you want anything even remotely resembling customer service, you'll want to look elsewhere. Ordering through the Old Navy website was a more pleasant experience than dealing with the store associate who waited on me. I wouldn't bother going back to this store. Ever. read more

The only reason I stop in this Old Navy is because it is by my house. ANY other location is better than this location. It is always disorganzed and never have the size I am looking for. But, today it went to a new level of dislike. Being newly pregnant, I thought I might stop in to see if they had some shorts or something to help beat the summer heat. I find the maternity section in the back section of the store and it was literally two racks and half a wall display and the rest was taken over by baby clothes. Of the few pairs of short shorts they had, they were all size 0-6 and I asked the sales associate if this is how the maternity section normally was and she told me yes and wanted to know what I was looking for. Then she proceeded to ask me what size I wear. Let's see, I am newly pregnant, I don't know what size I wear, it'd be nice to actually have some sizes to try on that isn't a size 2! I'd give this place 3 and a half stars out of five if I could. I just went here yesterday, and the fitting room associate was really helpful. She kept going back to get me more sizes, different colors, etc., while I tried on the clothes I had piled up in my fitting room, which saved me some time. I will agree with some of the other reviewers; they run out of sizes, and it can be frustrating. However, from personal experience at least, I've found that this is the case with pretty much any clothing store, especially one that frequently has "up to 75% off clearance!" sales. The cashier, on the other hand, was kind of a pain. I wanted to open up an Old Navy card so I could get the 10% off. I told her I did not want the entire purchase amount to go onto that card, and she assured me that I could use my own card as well, but went ahead and did it anyway. When I told her, again, that that wasn't what I wanted, she said she "forgot", and asked if I would like her to void the transaction. No, I just want you to listen to me the first time. Kind of annoying. Overall, this place is average; nothing more, nothing less. read more
