I had to use the amazon return desk right before closing. The person there was so nice and did not seem upset I was in with 3 minutes to spare. The store was clean and organized. The worst dot com experience. They're unable to resolve an issue regarding delivery to wrong the address. I called and tried updating my address 10-15 minutes after the order was placed online. I had to deal with customer service that spoke broken English from their overseas call center. This is a direct quote from their site, "We may be able to make the following changes within 30 minutes from when you placed your order: Cancel your order." I was not able to cancel my order, I couldn't update my shipping address with Kohl's, and I updated my shipping address with OnTrac as soon as I got the tracking number and they still screwed up. The payment was made using a Kohl's credit card. I can't do a chargeback, I didn't receive my order, and now I'm obligated to pay for this since it's tied to my credit report. The cashiers are as slow as molasses. I waited in line for over 20 minutes when there were only two customers at two cashier lines. I dont understand why cashiers take their sweet ass time? I want to get in to make a payment on my kohls credit card and I want to get out. She sent me to customer service where the kind ladies (that I regret not getting their names) helped me with my need. I usually enjoy coming to this location but recently I was put in a very uncomfortable position. I was shopping for jewelry for a trip I was gonna take and the person in the jewelry department was kind enough (older lady), she couldn't help me find a necklace that I saw a mannequin wearing but allowed me to have the one on the mannequin and I really appreciated that. I had two 5 dollar cash rewards to use and asked if I could use both for the same purchase. She said yes I could. She said that "..aside from other sales this is the one promotion you can stack." At the register though it was another story. I explained that I was told differently by the lady in the jewelry department and the cashier got visibly uncomfortable and told me fine but only this once.... now I know I'm young but I don't appreciate being made to feel like a child. She gave me that look like I was only doing this to get my way. I told her never mind that's fine I don't need to use both I can come back. And she still took both and said "no ill do it this once because she said so." I'm sure your employees deal with crappy customers but don't make a customer feel crappy because we've been told different things. I know for a fact that you can stack cash rewards because I've worked for kohls before but I specifically asked before going to the register because I had a feeling there would be a problem. If your company has changed its procedures all of you need to get on board with the rules and don't make a customer uncomfortable. I was being beyond nice because I know it can suck working in retail but I really should've been a Karen and confronted the manager because the treatment and looks she gave me made me feel like I already was. Kohls is a good store. However, I DO NOT like that they raise the prices in order to give you discounts off. And if you get the bonus bucks you have to come back to use them. The scratchers have an average of 15 percent off. Shop till you drop. Additionally, I love their return policy. They really don't have one. Lol. read more

This is the first poor review I have written on yelp but I am soooo frustrated with Kohl's Online Customer Service. This is the complaint I sent in to Kohl's... "I have just spent the last 48 minutes on the phone with your Customer Service line. On order 12XXXX I ordered 2 sets of 4 placemats sku 95024357. I received 2 placemats. On order number 117XXXX I ordered 1 Gusto Bowl sku 88176190. The bowl arrived broken. I simply want the items shipped back out to me. I spent 38 minutes on the phone with a CSR who told me that I would need to call back in 8 days to replace my order. This was not my error it was yours. Why do I need to waste additional time to fix your error? I then asked for a supervisor "Carlos" #6828 who stated that their policy was to issue a credit and then reorder the item. I would need to wait for the credit and then waste more of my time calling in all over again to reorder the items after 8 days. This is ridiculous! IT WAS NOT MY ERROR, IT WAS YOUR ERROR! I asked to speak with his boss and he said he was not available and would not give me a name or a number of his supervisor or of someone that I could call. I asked him if he was the top of the line as far as registering a complaint and he said yes, he was it. In an effort to resolve this I suggested to him "if this was your policy perhaps you could call me back in 8 days to replace the order so I didn't have to go over everything again and waste my time with another new person". In response he said "We don't follow up with customers". Again, IT WAS NOT MY ERROR, IT WAS YOUR ERROR! WHY WOULD YOU BE UNWILLING TO ASSIST ME BY FOLLOWING UP? I then told him that my next 48 minutes would be spent posting on facebook and registering a poor review with YELP unless he could help me. He said "Good for you, you do that.". I was in the customer service field for many years and would NEVER have treated a customer in this fashion. Your company has shown the lowest level of customer service I have experienced and I will not be doing business with you again. I will be posting to facebook and issueing a poor review with both YELP and google reviews. I am extremely unhappy...." I am very disappointed with this company and their extremely low level of customer service when they have made an error. I realize broken dishes happen and things are accidentally shorted but my expectation is that they would fix the problem immediately and apologize rather than be unhelpful and make things difficult for me. I wish I could rate them 0 stars. Beware, Kohl's is a good deal.... until you ask them to fix one of their mistakes.... This was a complete waste of my time! read more

Wow, placed an online order for store pick up of 2 items, 6 hrs later still waiting for pick up email. Yes, 4 hours ago I did get an email saying my order has been delayed but seriously when you say delay you assume one extra hour, especially when you advertise "READY IN 2 HOURS" you don't expect to be waiting over 6+ hours. Guaranteed the next email will be "sorry we no longer have these items". I understand it's the holidays, but seriously if this is what you advertise, hire people to work strictly on online orders. What a crock of S#!% this store is!! My wife was returning a blouse that I purchased. The tags are still on and they say 36.00. The blouse is CURRENTLY on sale for 24.99. We all know how Kohl's marks up their merchandise to a ridiculous price so you think you are getting a deal but imagine my surprise when they only offered to refund us 2.99 for a blouse that has never been worn, still has the original tags on and is currently being sold for 24.99! Nice Kohls store conveniently located right off the 15 freeway. They have a good selection of home goods. Customer service is excellent.

Never have problem here. Don't always find what I'm looking for, but when I do it is as a great price. Staff always courteous and helpful. I work in retail and know they can be short handed and don't mind waiting in a line like most. Ppl should not shop when they are in a rush in my opinion. As far as employees asking if I want to apply for credit, I don't mind.. it's part of their job and is a requirement. I just say no! Store can be a mess at times, but it didn't get that way on it's own. It is usually because guests don't put items back in the right spot, or wherever they feel... the associates can't be behind those guests every 5 minutes, straightening up...I personally enjoy Kohl's on the whole and shop there frequently... read more

We walked in looking for boots for my daughter. We encountered a girl putting items away. We asked her about the size we were looking for. She told us that it was not her dept but would try to help. She looked them up, searched the back twice, and found the boots that my daughter wanted. Alicia is an asset to a very large company. I went to customer service to ask how much available credit I had and I was told they do not have access to that information. Although this may be true, she didn't greet me, she didn't apologize and she could have said...let me get you the number....anything but turn away from someone as they're standing there asking for help. I have been going here and there with my best friend since she loves Kohls and yesterday I finally had enough and told her this is why I don't like Kohl's and why I don't shop here. The manager overheard me telling her that and offered to take us to jewelry to pay for our things and gave us an additional discount. His customer service was excellent. Thank you, Kameron. I'm not sure why the girl at customer service was not able to ring us up after she made a payment. After all, she does have a register. She said she had to ask because they stopped ringing people up there! Mind you there was NO line and no one behind us. The manager said he was going to talk with her because she absolutely can take care of us there. He said "she's customer service, she can help you". Oh why do I torture myself with this place? Vowed never to return here but they now have Amazon drop-off so I came for that and they gave me a 25% off coupon, so I decided to mozy over to check out a shirt (big mistake). Ended up TRYING to buy 2 shirts. I say TRYING because the first thing the very unfriendly cashier did was scan my coupon and then ring up prices that were way higher than what I expected. I had just put my card in their scanner and said "Wait, that's not the prices." So, here comes the fun (again). "Sir, the first one is a buy one get one half off. It's $50 because you only got one of those." Well, excuse me but the price says $29.99, not $50 or BOGO 1/2 off. So she goes to the intercom to call a floor girl, which takes forever, line backing up as usual. Floor girl comes, is told to go look, comes back 5 min later and confirms YES it's $29.99 just like I said. Ok, so how about that other $50 shirt that I used the coupon for, that's 25% off right? "Um, no sir, that coupon doesn't work on Nike shirts." Ok, so why didn't you say that when you scanned my coupon, dummy? You just scanned it and never said a word. So, strike the Nike shirt. But wait, my card was already in the scanner, so back to the intercom to call a manager to "void" the transaction, another 10 minutes waiting, line getting very long now. Finally, everything is reversed, re-run, and I get 1 shirt for $29.99 that is of questionable quality and not worth the hassle of this nightmare place. Never coming back! read more

Every time I visit this store, it is completely thrashed. There's merchandise thrown everywhere, you can't find sizes and nothing is ever organized. It is so hot in this store that I sweat while I'm walking around, and literally drip while trying on clothes! I asked the employees if they could lower the ac and they said (with a sad face) they have no control over it! Are you kidding me? They said corporate in another state controls it. These poor employees whenever I see them are sweating. Why does another state, who doesn't even know how hot it gets over here, control their air? I want there a few days ago and spent $200 and I got $30 Kohl's cash, so I went last night 2 use it when I got up to the register she said it was only $20 I said why my receipt says 30$.. she called over lady but she appeared to be some type of supervisor right off the bat she said I remember you she said the reason why you not getting your full Kohl's $30... FYI people watch closely how they ring up your items... my encounter prior to last night ...after I paid I look at the receipt and I told the cashier why is this one not 1/2off she didn't ring up the item was behind her scanner she didn't see it I said we'll bring it up I want the 50% off. She said I had to take it over to customer service which I did immediately and waited 20 minutes the lady there said I need to return the item I paid full price for and then I could repurchase it and get the 50% off the second item. I said okay so we returned the first item I bought the two items of got the 50% off the second one.. I was like cool we're done so when I went back there yesterday like I stated above they would NOT honor my kohl money because that item was returned and repurchase on a different receipt due to their error... Staff had me going from register ,to customer service ( and while at CS I waited for 15 min hearing a manager and a staff member arguing with another kohls associate about discounts associates should receive .this was happening while several valuable customers were in line hearing the commotion between associates !!! So unprofessional . They have no consideration for their customers ) back to register then to jewelry department . They had no idea what they were doing and I still couldn't exchange my items in store . I am very upset and disappointed about the service and difficulty of the whole exchange process. Excellent place out to come. Friendly staff and it's always well organized just like the upland location off the 210 and Campus. Just stay away from the Ontario location. Come to this location instead or the upland one. Always always check or sign up for there email you will receive discounts. Kohl's online customer service might as well not even exist. I am having a problem with UPS delivery of order. UPS keeps changing the date and I think they have lost the package. I have contacted Kohl's customer service and all they do is look up the tracking number and tell me the date is scheduled. Duh, I have done that. I need assistance with them contacting UPS and finding out why every night the date gets changed to the next day in their online tracking but the package never gets delivered. I have tried email and I get the same stupid response. read more
