If I can give zero stars, I would. Customer service at this location is horrendous and the employees are disrespectful. I was standing in what I thought was the checkout line considering that I have never been to that location before, and the whole entire time that I was waiting 5-7 minutes or so; the male cashier glanced at me multiple times and not once did he let me know that there is an actual checkout line on the other side of the display. (Which mind you, you wouldn't have seen unless you walk to the other side of a display) As soon as the male cashier became available, I walked up to him, he points to the left and tells me that there's a checkout line, which he failed to tell me in advance and services another customer instead. Of course, frustrated and upset, I walked over to the other side of the display and then he calls me up now to check out. At that moment, I told him that he could have been courteous and let me know that there was an actual checkout line instead of telling me last minute. Instead, he gave me a poor excuse for not letting me know. I also explained to him that I was trying to reach way above the shelves that were out of reach and the female employees on the floor also didn't assist or bother to help when I asked them if they had a jacket in a certain size. Instead, the female employee told me all the sizes were out and that was it, so then I asked her if she can move the rack of clothes that she was stocking to be moved aside so I can be closer to be able to grab the jackets from the shelves up high. The male was rude and so was manager of the store, Staci. Staci was extremely unprofessional and rude considering she told me directly that it's a matter of how I speak to the employees, when I was not being rude at all. I was letting them know that if a customer needs assistance, then they should be aware of the situation and be courteous. Once I asked for her name before I left, she told me her name with a smirk and said to go ahead and report her. I hope the GM of this location addresses Staci's terrible behavior as well as her male coworker that also worked at the cash register with her and rectifies this problem. I would advise against visiting this location unless you want to be talked down to. I hope no one has to experience this type of bad behavior and poor customer service from the employees of this location. read more

I do not have any kids, so I am pretty clueless when it comes to baby shower clothing. So many different sizes and function of clothing and baby stuff. For me i just get the deer in the headlight look. I guess the staff saw the wide eyed look and offered assistance. I told them I was shopping for a newborn and they showed me the sizing chart and month chart for basic sizes. This was very helpful. They had a large selection of baby items and clothes. I picked out a couple cute outfits labeled NB (new born) and wallah... all done. In and out in under 10 minutes. Score! read more

Today was our first trip to the Carter's outlet. I found it thanks to the all knowing Yelp! We live 15 minutes from the Mills and we were so happy to find out this place existed. It was a lil messy but its an outlet, I dont know about you but I have sifted through worse at Walmart hunting for a deal! Lets be real, the clothes are too cute and the qaulity is great for the price. As for employees no one bothered me, by that I mean followed me around asking if I need something, if they can find something for me...I personally cant stand that! Im shopping , Im wondering looking at everything enjoying my time. Overall I liked it, Ill be going back. I got 2 p.j.'s, one onesie, one pair of pants and a lil monster beanie for $28.00 you cant beat that. Dont care what anyone says it WONT STOP ME FROM SAVING MONEY!! read more

Horrible customer service. I felt very judge trying to checkout of this store. I had opened my store credit card here and shop at this store probably 4x a month. I have never been asked to show my id when making a purchase, especially a 20 dollar one. (They had also asked for my phone number for rewards, which I gave and they found me. The odds of someone stealing your card and knowing your phone number are pretty slim.) I was told they always do, which is not true I guess it depends on how you look or are dressed that day. Shopping at a Carter's outlet can be a good bargain - espefcially if you are looking for gifts to get a pregnant friend stocked up on baby clothes. Keep your eyes open for their 'special' racks - kinda like 'clearance racks' and priced similarly. You'll only save $2 or $3 per item - but if you buy 10 items... there's $30 saved! read more

Damn I Love Buying Kids Clothes Here!!! The Clothes For The Carter's Line Are Slightly Larger Than Any Other Brand And This Is A Good Thing Because Children Grow So Fast. The Quality Of The Clothes Are Also Great. They Don't Wear And Tear As Fast As Some Other Brands. The Prices Here Are Awesome!!!! You Spend Half As Much Here Than Elsewhere For The Same Brand Name And Quality. They Don't Sell Seconds Here, They Sell The Same Items That You Find At JC Penny, Kohl's Etc.... So Why Spend More Elsewhere For The Same Thing Just Come Here And Save!!! They Also Always Have One Sale Or Another Going On, It Is So Worth It To Come Here. This is the worst Carter's I have ever been in to!! Worst customer service ever, stood in line for 15 min while the cashier rang up this one couple literally reading coupons & playing with her nails it was so riddicolus we put our stuff down and left! I've been to lots of Carter's but this reminded me of Kmart with cashiers who get paid min wage and don't care of they have a job or if customers are happy. I usually love carters and their customer service . Have never been to this location before so I can't say if this is normal for them or not, but I was just in there with my toddler--I was kneeling on the floor with my little one picking out pajamas and an employee came out of the back carrying a box, not looking where he was headed and kneed or kicked me in the lower back. I'm 6 months pregnant so my back is already in pain. He apologized, asked if I needed anything, but never even put the box down to check on me. I stayed there for a couple of minutes in pain and crying. No one else came over to check on me. I went to go tell someone else just to document it and she was not compassionate at all. Just said, "ok--I'll let him know." I wasn't looking for anything other than a little kindness and not one employee there seemed to care. And my real concern is that employees aren't looking where they're walking...in a store where a lot of their customers are under 3 feet tall. I'm glad he ran into me and not my little girl cuz he would've knocked her to the ground. I had a LOT more shopping to do there, but I put my stuff down and we left thanks to the lack of care on the part of the employees. Nice to know they care about their pregnant customers. read more

My wife and I love to shop, especially for our children, and this is our favorite place to come. The manager is quite knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We made a decent sized purchase on one of our recent visits but forgot to use a coupon that we had. When we went back a few days later the manager not only adjusted the price for us, but to our surprise she was very nice about it and even helped us shop. We saved money and used it to buy [you guessed it] more clothes. There are a lot of Carter's around, but this one has earned our loyalty with their exceptional customer service. If you order from Carters.com and have your package shipped to the store, don't expect a phone call nor email to let you know you're order is ready for pick up. .com says store calls you to let you know and store says .com is responsible to let customer know. This Carter's store never lets me down, and what I mean by that is that the customer service is EXCEPTIONAL! A young woman named Natalie has helped me out during several of my visits to this store. I purchased a very large order online, and to my misfortune, everything went on sale the next day. So what a does a bargain shopping mom do? Of course I went into the store to get a price adjustment. On my most recent visit, Natalie helped me and I cannot stress how helpful and patient she was. She looked up every single item and compared the prices, online vs. in-store, so that I could get the better prices and deals. Retail associates like her are what make businesses successful, and they are a reflection of the company. I live in Riverside and I always choose to come to this store because of the customer service; you guys are doing it right! There is a closer Carter's store to my house that is on Limonite and I do not shop that at that store because of the poor customer service, so that should say a lot. I just really wanted to write this review because sometimes we only write reviews when we have bad experiences, and this shopping experience was definitely A+! read more
