My rating for Kohl's is 0 stars but it wasn't an option. I have been a customer of Kohl's for 30 years. Today I went in to make a return. As I was walking in I noticed a woman walking out without a mask. Then when I got to 'returns' there was a young man without a mask. I was waiting in line behind this unmasked man for 10 minutes feeling very unsafe. I mentioned this to the woman at the door who said she had no authority to enforce the mask mandate. Wow! This is the worst week in the country's history for Covid-19 and you have no authority to enforce a mask mandate? I raised my 5 kids on your clothes and expected to do so for my grandchildren. Don't ever shop here. They talked me into getting a credit card with them. I used it for several years not because I had to but for the credit rating. I didn't use it for awhile and they canceled it for no reason dropping my credit rating 15 points. Their clothes are half rate anyway. They always shrink a size after washing. There is some cashiers who are "friendly" others not so much. Very passive aggressive. The manager is just as rude watching everything we do as we checked out. These people get paid max $15 an hr and for them to be snotty asf. They need to be humble and act their wage. LOVE this store... I haven't been a Kohl's fan in the past but I'm definitely on the band wagon for this store. I'd originally gone in to pick up a button down shirt that I'd seen at another Kohl's while on an outing with my girl friends shopping. So while I was perusing the 70-80% off sales racks I ran across a few other things I thought I might like to try on. Well the few other things turned into a heaping pile at which point I was having some degree of difficulty carrying all the items I'd picked up. Enter the lovely, Cynthia, who was so kind and helpful she told me to stay right there and promptly went off to get me a cart. Upon her return, I asked her for some fashion advice on a few of the things I'd picked out. Best of all, there wasn't an item count nazi there to count my many items and make me come out every 5 minutes to rotate selections. I absolutely disdain that about Target or any other store for that matter, where they limit you to 6 items at a time in the fitting room. With that I was off to the fitting room for what seemed like an hour trying everything on. Much to my dismay a pair of pants I'd picked out was a bit too large and I hadn't been able to find a smaller size to take in with me. Once I emerged from the fitting room I found Cynthia again and she told me she'd go check the back. Within 5 minutes she returned with the exact size I needed. Check out was smooth and I even got another 30% off my purchases for signing up for a Kohl's card. Add that to the coupon I had and I saved $191.83. All I can say is WOW.... Not only do I love this store; I'm a card carrying member now! read more

I love this Kohl's. They always have a great selection of everything, the store is clean, the employees are very friendly, and the displays are typically well organized, unless you go in midday then everything is in disarray because of customers throwing things around and not putting them back where they belong. The dressing rooms can sometimes be a little chaotic because so many customers throw their clothes on the floor inside the dressing rooms instead of putting it on the rack just outside the dressing room for the employees to put back; or they do put it on the rack but they just throw it without caring where they put it. Have some respect for the employees who work there, people!!! The only thing I dislike about this location is the lack of employees at the registers and how slow they move whenever they are checking someone out. Like sometimes it actually seems like they're moving slow on purpose and I don't understand why. I've also had employees walk away from the register while they were checking me out to help someone else so lack of employees on the floor is definitely a problem. Overall, however, I do love this location and would recommend shopping here! read more

They have the most unprofessional, lack of customer service representatives working here that I have ever encountered in a Kohl's. My family has been buying gifts for each other from Kohl's for several years because it is easy to do a quick exchange for different sizes, colors, etc. We got some gifts from my mom shipped directly to us for Christmas so we had receipts to get different sizes in the gifts. Once we got to the store, we were greeted by customer service reps that seemingly hate their jobs and working with customers because the lady was whining the whole time about the packing slips I handed her and we just kept getting told to reorder the items on their kiosk out of pocket and then bring them in the store to do the return. Day after Christmas, I don't have $150 to shell out of my pocket to do a simple gift exchange with receipts. So we exchanged two items, returned three for in store credit to order the replacement items online - except the replacement items cost twice as much!! After waiting for two more reps to come help us with this issue we were told "oh, this is the only way to do an exchange...sorry you can't pay for them" what?!? What kind of customer service is this that now to do a quick size exchange for a GIFTED ITEM you have to pay out of pocket and wait a week to get them shipped to you, go back into the store to get a "refund"???? Every other store I've been to will exchange and order the items for you through a HUMAN CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE not some kiosk that barely works. Don't bother trying to rectify the problem with a now lost gift through the 1-800 number because they're just as bad. Now we are down a whole gift and we're given the sale price on a gift card and told to repurchase at full price if we want a different size. Horrible! Lack of professionalism, crappy customer service with return reps whining the whole time about their jobs, and "managers" that can't do anything but poke at a kiosk and tell you you're screwed on a gift. Kohl's is my store anyways... but the re-model they just finished (having their re-grand opening on the 11th-tomorrow) is AWESOME! Amanda T. and I swung by quickly today and I am so happy to say we were very happy :) The entire store just feels so open! My favorite part is the dressing rooms... they have cute stools for when you model. The jewlery section is more organized too. Seriously we could only stay for 10 min cuz it is dangerous (I did end up buying a new purse though) but yes... soooooo coming back (not like I was not gonig to anyways, but the new look is great!)! read more

I stopped by this stole while vacationing in colorado. There didn't seem to be a lot of employees but not once was I greeted or asked if I needed any assistance. The cashier had a "I don't care attitude" and did not care to look into a price difference on a jacket I wanted to purchase. This is the worse experience I've had at a Kohl's store. It's a Kohls. They have the stuff you would expect at mostly reasonable prices. The quality is decent. I mostly come to use the free $10 gift cards they mail out periodically, or to look for some new shoes or underwear. They have good clearance racks where that money can make a decent headway into a purchase - I've had times where I've walked out with an item using my gift card and paying less than a dollar. It's nicer and less crowded than Walmart, and slightly less soul-sucking. read more

Was stopped by a security officer and was falsely accused of shoplifting. I had to wait in their office for half an hour for the police to come and disprove their accusations. I stopped by today to do some clothes shopping. There were zero employees staffing the registers and expected customers to wait in the returns line to give them money. I talked to a manager who said that corporate would not allow them to staff the registers any longer. Honestly if you make it this hard to give you money, I can shift my clothes shopping to Amazon. You need to staff your checkout registers, because if I can order it online in less time than I wait In line I will always take the most convenient and least hassle option. Price is not my primary concern, I value service and convenience above all else. Right now it is not likely I will return to kohls. Kohl's.com allowed me to place an order online and sent me a confirmation email that my order was complete and mailed. 6 days late already, I called to find out where my order was. They said it was never sent and that it was then out of stock. All they could do was refund my money IN 7-10 business days. I am so angry. This was a holiday item. I like Kohl's for household items and less expensive work clothes. This location is probably my favorite. While it's not as big as some other locations, it's easy to navigate, fully stocked and is never too busy. I can get in, get what I need and get out on my lunch hour...but sometimes I'll shoot down 6th on the weekend for a longer (read: costlier) shopping excursion. read more

I love this Kohl's store. Actually, I love them all but this one is closest to my house. Overall I have had very good experiences here. The staff has always been friendly to me and are usually very helpful. For example, when I ask someone to scan a product because I am not sure if it's on sale or not, they cheerfully scan it in seconds, and often it is on sale. The customer service department is also great. They always treat me well and take care of me and get my issues resolved swiftly and courteously. As far as the selection of items, it's great. I buy all my winter socks and long underwear at Kohl's. Naturally I shop the sales and I always end up getting a good deal. If my size isn't in stock, they will order it for me. I also use kohls.com quite a bit. Last year when they were out of my size of long underwear in the store (size LT, large and tall), it was really easy to just order five pairs when they were on sale and even get the colors I wanted. This year I scored big on black Friday and got over 500 dollars worth of items I really needed and paid a total of $157, shipped (free shipping). I also make use of the Kohl's cash and rewards program, and between all of those credits and buying what I want when it is on sale, I not only do really well for myself, I often get free items (last year I got free scarves, a free plush robe and lots of other stuff). The only downsides are that occasionally I will have to wait several minutes if I have ordered something online and chosen free in store pickup, or if I have had something put on hold for me to pick up later. In a few instances I have had to wait over five minutes for someone to come up to customer service from the back because it took them a while to find my items. Also on occasion when I am ready to check out there are no checkers manning the registers, at least not the ones near customer service, and there is only one checker on the other end of the store. In years past it never seemed to be this way. There is definitely room for improvement in these areas, and that's why I only give them four stars. It has happened more than once. But I still love this store and will continue to shop there. The atmosphere is wonderful (clean, inviting and cheerful), the store is well lit and organized and usually very well stocked. And the quality of the merchandise is generally excellent. read more

Well I was a seasonal worker. I was supposed to start black Friday. I got a call back saying I had the job. I waited a week since they said they call me back nope no phone call. I called them back and was told to show up on this day and they kept changing it. When I finally showed up for work they said I showed up at the wrong time they asked me to stay the nite black Friday to work iat first I said yes then remembered I had prier engagements. Not open till 11pm as advertised through apple maps. Only open till 10pm. Barely let us try on the clothes we had when telling us over the intercom they were NOW closed. Since when do clothing stores not give you a 10 minute warning of closing to try items on before purchasing. The manager was extremely rude when I explained our predicament that their store advertised being open till 11pm but was actually open till 10pm. After the third time of telling me they closed at 10pm I let her know I understood and that she should have the information updated. She didnt even want to see which site advertised them being open till 11pm. We were told we could have 5 minutes as they had to close right away. This place, actually the whole company, sucks big time. They say online that they have what you need, but when you get in the store they don't have it and never did. Don't even get excited about the FABULOUS employee discount, because you have to jump through so many hoops to use it, why even bother giving it to the employees. They don't even pay a decent wage. Starting rate is $8.75 an hour. That is pathetic. I started working that the Arvada store and have to have major surgery. I was told I wouldn't have a job after recovery.
