I especially like this option because the staff can be a bit slow at the general register. I love the selection of men's clothes. As an educator, I can rely on Kohl's to have professional and modern outfits. I love fresh button-ups and chinos, Kohl's is my go-to for these items! Prices were a little high today, but quality was excellent! I won't give this location a five-star this visit, as the AC was not working properly! It gets really hot in here fast! read more

I ordered some Mickey Mouse stepping stones and both came broken, very disappointed. And when I returned and asked to get them shipped to store was told that wasn't an option. Then because of the return I losted 10 dollars kohls cash, which I wanted to replace and not return. Not happy However the ladies that helped were great. read more

This is just for a girl that was working the returns in the back for Amazon. Rolling the eyes having attitude etc. when it was totally unnecessary. I'm just returning items if you don't like it then take it up with your store that is doing that with Amazon. Everything at its tags everything was just bought within the last week there wasn't an issue because you have a line there was four items that I returned. She had such a bad attitude about it I was two seconds away from asking her what her problem was But didn't want to make a big deal. I really enjoy working with the ladies and Sephora and everybody else seems great but most definitely the Amazon personnel needs to be better. Usually they're really cool but this chick was really rude chewing gum rolling eyes her face was turning red like she was getting mad it was so weird. Then when I was finished with the four items she's like is that it?! Folding the clothes flopping them on the Counter. There is no one behind me and then when I left there was two people so it wasn't even that big of a deal to where she needed to be acting that way. Three pairs of pants and some camping equipment. Worst Kohls location. The manager is rude. Not helpful. You can't even take the shopping carts to your vehicle. They lock up if you try to take them out the door. I had to make 3 trips. Who needs to deal with this. Won't be coming back here anytime soon. read more

Never been in this store, it was our very first visit. We may have hit up the Murrieta location a hand full of times and did Amazon returns when forced to. I don't find the appeal, I could care less about kohls cash, their store "sales" are not amazing at all. Had a cashier today (Jose) that told us the line started at the back (hard to explain) but, he pointed far off and said "the line starts back there" even though we were at the front, but standing on the wrong side of the stanchion and no one else was around. Another couple that had started walking up witnessed the situation and should have been decent humans and let us go ahead as we were already there waiting at the front and they had a mountain of stuff piled in a cart and I only had a handful of items. There are NO signs directing where to stand in line btw, just so I don't come off as completely clueless. Cashier took so long being overly chatty and the line built to another 4 people behind us and no other cashiers. When it was our turn, no apology for the mix up with the line even though we found it to be very rude. He pushed their credit card way too hard and was off putting, I don't shop here enough to justify getting their credit card. I went here because we had a few Amazon packages that needed to be returned. There was only 1 other person in front of me, so it was a quick return. I did some shopping g afterwards. It was 90 degrees outside and probably 80 degrees inside. It was so hot, I saw multiple people fanning themselves. I waited in the long line to check out at Sephora all the while sweating. The line was about 5 deep with one cashier. I really hope this was just an off day at the store....... read more

My wife was shopping at Kohls today. She had picked out three shirts. And due to every checkout line being so long she put the shirts back. And must have dropped her car at that time. She decided to quit shopping for the day. She walked to her car and found out she had lost her keys. While back tracking to look for the keys a lady asked if she could help her with anything. She told the lady about the lost keys. The lady said she would pray for her to find the keys. My wife went back into the store and contacted a store employee by the name of Theresa who checked lost and found for the keys. None were at lost and found. She helped my wife backtrack where she was in the store. They found the keys where my wife had put the shirts back. We would like to thank Theresa for her help. read more

I do not like Kohl's. Since I don't shop here often, I'm not sure if their layout is the same at every store, but I hate making returns here. They strategically place the customer service/return/online order pickup counter waaaaaaaay in the back of the store on purpose. Marketing tactic to get you to look at every damn thing as you walk the long walk to the back. Hopefully you'll pick up an item or two, or three or four... Ha! Not me... I don't fall for that. Went in, did my biz and walked right out. Guess they gotta do what they gotta do to stay afloat especially during these covid times but I just can't swing with that. Customer service at this location was pretty good this visit. There was only one person ahead of me so I didn't wait long. When it was my turn, the lady apparently had a long day and was all flustered as I tried to show her the code on my phone with the order number. Eventually she got things moving and I got my refund. Last time I came I had to wait long, but they are usually friendly here. Not a fan, but if I see something online for a good deal, I might pick it up. I have found it's simpler now days to order online and then return the sizes, colors, and styles that don't work. Every time I go in I browse to see what's new, but typically end up ordering online and repeating the process. They just didn't seem to have what I need in store. SEPHORA review: I had been going to Ulta forever for my makeup but I was on a time budget and happened to be at Kohl's so I wandered into the Sephora department. I was instantly greeted by a salesperson. I don't remember her name but she has red hair and is SUPER nice and helpful. Sephora doesn't carry the foundation I had been using so she took time showing me options that would fit my skin type best. I ended up getting the Best Skin Ever foundation and it is AWESOME! She also told me about a 30% off sale for Sephora products so I stocked up. I now go to Sephora only. I love my new makeup but honestly this review is specifically to mention the salesperson's customer service. When shopping for makeup, I have become used to being ignored or offered products that totally don't work for my skin. It was so refreshing to have someone actually care about finding what works for me. Great job! read more

I was just in this morning 4/7/23 to return a few Amazon items. The little unpleasant girl with glasses that was working needs to not be in a customer facing position. No hello, thank you or even have a nice morning. Just handed me my return confirmation without a word. It should be noted that I was the only one in line and she was not overwhelmed. Nope....she just seemed unhappy. Perhaps it's because she is working retail, but she is clearly underqualified to be working a retail position where she has to interact with the public. I usually do alot of shoping at Kohls over the holidays, and it never fails that holiday purchases at Kohls brings major headaches. They have great sales, and I want to buy alot of stuff, but they dont have enough shopping carts. They have very few, and the bags they supply, don't hold much. Secondly, the wait times to check out during the holidays is horid. You have to line up and the line can be 25 people deep. The cashiers could move faster. I was there today, and it was on Veterans day, and folks were really complaining in line.. It makes you want to do all your orders online. read more

This is our local Kohl's and we've had nothing but good experiences here. I do admit that sometimes, the lines can get long, but that's at any place and for the most part, the cashiers are moving along the fastest they can, while still providing great customer service. I've returned items here without any hesitation as well. Most of my items are purchased with our Kohl's card, so even if I don't have my receipt, it is found in our card history. On our last trip to Kohl's, there were plenty of associates walking around, trying to keep everything in order and we were asked if we needed any assistance. At the checkouts, our cashier was telling my wife how she made cute choices on some baby clothes we were purchasing. It's good to see them interacting and providing feedback on good items as well as what they see being bought often. Thank you Kohl's. read more

My Aunt bought me a pair of shorts from here they were $46. A little steep for Lee brand shorts but were to big and I have that color. But without the receipt but had all the tags on; I had to exchange them for the same brand shorts and had to be $46.....,, not $36-40. $46.or they will give you $5. I don't like the people that work there. It seems little ke your bugging them. And believe me people weren't exactly knocking the door down.I for one will not shop there and will let my Aunt know. It's pretty ridiculous that with how bad things are going right now with this virus, there were so many people walking around without a mask. Nobody enforced anything and even cashiers ringing people up without a mask on. I for one will not be back. Went to kohls to do a price adjustment due to items that I purchased online going on sale after I bought them. I was told by a manager with acne scars all over his face that they could not do price adjustments for online orders that I had to call online only to do that. I told them that Murrietta and Temecula both do it. And he said well they have been known to brake the rules LOL and he flat out refused to help me and he had the nerve to tell me to go to the Murrietta store then! So I went to the Murrietta store they were most gracious and very helpful and the even gave me 40% off for my trouble plus the price adjustment. What a bunch of rude ass. Holes. With the new shopping center in Menifee, having a local Kohl's is a nice addition. This isn't a high-end fashion store by any means but the prices are competitive. This gives local shoppers some choices, along with the nearby Super Target and Old Navy. The clothes they carry are not too bad. I can find decent stuff for work and not break the bank. They have a large selection of other decorative items, house/kitchen wares, small appliances and even a small toy section for the kids. It's a good alternative to check out. I got beef though with the way they have people pay at the register. Notice I said "register", meaning ONE register. I may be exaggerating a bit but man, it sure seems like there's only one person working it and there's like a bunch of empty stations!!! They should probably invest in those self service registers because I shouldn't be in line for 15 min to buy a pair of socks! Management should take note of this problem and put more people on the schedule. Sometimes the wait is just a little more than it should be and really unnecessary. read more

I love this location the most out of all the Kohl's locations I've been to. It's always so clean and well organized! I've always had such great customer service provided each time I shop here, it makes me feel comfortable. I've done a couple Amazon returns here as well and they make the return process so easy. They also added a Sephora inside which is nice so I don't have to drive too far anymore and now Kohl's sells the brand Calvin Klein! Definitely my favorite Kohl's location and shopping area. read more

Not sure if this location is still in transformation (redesign)?? It was pretty bad tonight. A mess, everything picked over, no rhyme or reason to the layout..jewelry section was no more. Meh, So i walk in, glancing around to see if I spot any possible last minute gift ideas for people before Christmas. Walked around for awhile, glancing at this and that, you wanna know how many people asked me if I needed help? ZERO (it's cool, didn't need help anyway). DECEPTION BY THE RESTROOMS!! There are restrooms in the back right corner of the store (the sign for them is kinda small). Some people were standing near the front of the restrooms, just chit-chatting, and some people -thinking there was a line for the restroom- got behind them to wait, then another group got behind them. I figured they would eventually figure out they were waiting for nothing haha. Plenty of Parking in the lot because it is a huge lot designed for all the other major shops in the plaza. Lot seemed clean and well kept. Overall, just a regular retail store. Nothing special about it. THEREFORE i give it the anti-climactic "meh." read more

The not so good reviews are so spot on. 1st time EVER buying a few things from Kohls online. The products were misrepresented online go I brought them back to Kohls Menifee. Let me back up .. The nightmare begins with trying to pay my bill online (this should be a 3 step process) Pay Bill tab - type in amount - paid. NO! you are directed to a different website to reregistered .. why reregister? I'm already registers! Ok then I was asked, several times - name - birthday - zip. And nothing worked. That was just to register. I called. Auto loop - name birthday - zip .. Transfer to another - name - birthday - zip! JUST TO REGISTER to pay!! ... Got a human -name birthday zip. Really?? Does Kohl's want my money? Finally registered. Then .. Kohls doesn't take credit cards for payment online. WHAT? That's nuts. 28 mins later, I finally paid my bill. And like I said the products were advertised wrong. Vowing NEVER to buy anything from Kohls again, I brought the boxes to Menifee. I paid CASH, I want CASH. No can do. Kohls store credit or wait 3 months to request cash. 3 months. Kohls will hold your CASH for 3 months. WHAT?? No NO .. and NO!! I was too exhausted to fight . Nothing is simple with Kohls. This location is the closest to me in Hemet. I love being greeted when walking in to shop, thank you. We came here to get some father's day shirts for the hubs. Their staff here are very helpful here and mostly easy to find. After picking out some cool new shirts we perused the home essentials section. I was looking for a specific fan for my room and a hand infuser for the kitchen. We couldn't find any employees in the back area where they are needed. I bribed the hubs to be patient while I looked through the women's clearance rack, but didn't really find anything I liked. I also wanted to check out the women's flip flops as it was time for some new ones. An awesome plus to this store would be they try to have everything in the same area no matter what location you are visiting, that makes shopping so much easier. I love Kohl's! Our cashier was amazing explaining how if we spent $5.00 more dollars we could get a $10.00 discount based on my points. So cool! I wish I had written his name down, Kudos for great customer service! I purchased a bit over $200 in clothes & shoes online and got a 30% discount due to an online promotion. I took my receipt to the Menifee store for an exchange in size, I was not returning anything. They didn't have the exact item, so I upgraded and got an even more expensive one. Because it was not an "even" exchange, the store took away my 30% off and my Kohl's cashback. I didn't understand because I was paying even more. I will never purchase from this store or their online page ever again. read more

Worse customer service experience that made no sense. Tried to exchange Addias $48 sweat pants ( with a receipt) for Nike $55 sweat pants. Ok we know there is going to be a price difference (willing to pay) but we were told the sweats had to be the same brand and the same price? Wait....what, I have never been told that anywhere and I work for a high end retailer. Then we were told we had to return in the back and come back up the front cashier to purchase. What the actual hell is going on here!! We left and will return at another location. Poor customer service options if this is what corporate has advised their sales team and cashiers to do. They don't even honor their own prices (sign said 25% off. Manager rudely huffs "oh we don't honor those signs cuz they change all the time".. hence the "limited time sale" lady.
