Horrible customer service everytime I come in here. This is the one store I dread coming into because of how poorly trained the staff is. Everytime I ask for help I'm greeted by a noticeably annoyed worker who never answers my questions and leaves me waiting like 10 minutes to get an answer. Customer service is horrible at this store. I almost exclusively shop at AE, mostly online, due to the poor customer service in this store. Although I do have to go in to the store when returning an item and I am ALWAYS disappointed by the staff here. I tried returning a pair of jeans and I had to go online and bring up their return policy in order to try to even return them. They had no tags, which is within their policy, I was then refused a refund as the item was purchased almost a year ago, but again, their online policy states there is NO time frame for returns. I had removed the tags when I bought the item then they sat (folded, as they do in the store) in my closet for nearly a year, un-worn and un-touched. I had just began a weight loss journey and honestly forgot about the jeans and found them recently after losing 55 pounds and trying to basically purchase a whole new wardrobe as I am down 3-4 sizes. I have cleaned out nearly 20 pairs of AE jeans, all with visible wear, which I would never even think of returning, but this pair was brand new and I figured I could get a new pair, in my current size. I was ultimately told that they have the right to refuse a refund if they suspect fraud or abuse?? How is there either of these if I am returning a brand new (without tags) pair of jeans?? The manager Anahi was extremely rude and completely embarrassed me for stating this reason in front of several other customers. I will never shop or return in this store again. read more

The staff in this store were incredibly helpful and sooo nice. I walked out of the store feeling actually better than when I left. I went in to exchange a pair of jeans for a smaller size. One guy helped me by answering all my questions about sizing and fit, offered suggestions regarding to Covid related shopping experience and was so pleasant. The guy who cashed me out was equally as pleasant and courteous. Overall the best shopping experience I've had in a very long time. read more

Hector is AMAZING!!! He works there, I think he may be the manager. He helped my daughter and I out while we were shopping. I've recently started shopping here again and am thrilled with the customer service I've received from several different sales associates, on several different shopping trips. I never stopped shopping here for a particular reason, I just got in the habit of shopping elsewhere and thought they had styles that were more fitting when I was younger. Although some items in store didn't work for me, the associates are able to order from the website and have items shipped to your home. It's a very helpful service. I'll continue to stop in when I'm browsing the mall, and a huge reason I'll be coming back is due to the fantastic customer service I've received. read more

*11/19/18* This is an amazing store!! I've shopped at a few locations but non compare to this location! This spot has it all. I came for an event and was blown away at the customer service and attentiveness especially so close to the holiday. The staff had been properly trained on customer service making sure each customer had what they need, so much so they'll look up stock in other stores or order if for you & ship for free. The management team is on top of what's needed & when. I had a return & they went out of there way to find my order number unfortunately for me I couldn't find proper documentation to process the return but the fact they went above & beyond makes up for it. Mindy was especially amazing I needed help and she swooped in like Wonder Woman and handled it in a second!!!! Thank you Mindy! If you're like me ( which would be insane!), then you shop at American Eagle only for sleep gear. I'm not the type that dresses like the mannequins/models/associates on a regular or non-regular basis, but I do indulge in sale shopping every so often. My favorite rack is the sale rack. Here you may choose from a wide array of t-shirts and sweaters with necks that have look to be stretched out beyond repair. You could see the top of your shoulder in some of those things! But not to worry, after a wash and a session in the dryer, the neck will snap back...somewhat. And this is why I only purchase lounge wear from here. We all know what AE sells at full price and I'm just not into that. But if you're looking for some uber comfortable sweats and tee's to lounge around your house/apartment/cardboard box in, then this is where you need to go. Extremely unhappy with the service. I placed an online order for pickup and it said it would be ready in 2 hours. When I went to pickup my order, the lady who was working said they don't check online orders and had sold my item to someone else. She was extremely rude and insensitive about the whole situation. I love, love, love this place. I will not shop anywhere else! They are expensive but they are always having deals going on such as buy one get one half off. I really like how they have super cute clothes that fit up to size 12-16 and L/XL. Most clothing stores don't offer young adult clothing in those sizes. read more

Several times I have been in this store in the last month and didn't receive any help until I got to the back of the store. Once I received that help the associates were usually pretty nice and very helpful. However, once I get back up to the front of the store there always seems to be a person standing at the register who for whatever reason cannot ring me up, EVERY TIME. This person always calls the other person who had helped me find things in the first place to come check me out, and that person just stands there, there's been two different ones, and I just can't understand what they could possibly be doing. There definitely needs to be more people available to help customers. I love the clothes and there are some real good deals there too. read more
