This store and their checkout process has gone downhill. The store can appear empty but once you go to checkout you wait on an unbelievably long, slow line. They now only have one area for checkout and they also did away with customer service for returns so if you are returning you are stuck on the line. I tried to go on a Monday morning to avoid lines and it was horrible with only 1 register open. I think I am done with this store. read more

This store is Hell on Earth. They've consolidated the customer service, returns, Amazon Hell and regular checkout into one set of registers! Only a moronic moron would do this. Each transaction seems to take 7.5 years, and two registers are manned out of 7. Yet there are countless (7 thousand?) employees wandering aimlessly throughout the store as if they're in a trance. Once at a register, the cashier harangues you into trying to apply for a credit card to save 10 cents. The process takes an eternity, and then there's the pitch for Kohl's cash.... Whomever dreampt up this business model should be sent on that one-way trip to Mars that's coming up, with no way to get back to Earth. read more

Yeah, all the staff are gloved and masked. That doesn't mean the store is doing all they can in the pandemic. They are willing to make their employees take the burden, but the store itself isn't doing the right thing. This store has six registers at each end of the store. I have walked in 3 times since the pandemic started to verify this before posting. Instead of spreading out the cashiers across all 12 registers, they pack six into the same area and create a dense collection of people in one small corner of the store. Yes, everyone is masked, but that only does so much. They could quite easily further reduce risks by spreading people out to the other end of the store. Be careful playing the Kohls Cash game. I spent several hundred dollars on Christmas gifts and also received Kohls cash, which I used on subsequent Christmas shopping over about four weeks prior to Christmas. After Christmas, I tried to return five items and happily take a store credit, but was told that "we don't do that anymore". Instead, I was told that since the Kohls cash was used already, the amount of the "cash" would be deducted from my return. Previously, Kohls used to give a patron the option of either taking a store credit for the amount of the return (so you'd spend the money in Kohls, which was fair since the Kohls cash was used already) and then also keep the benefit of the Kohls cash, or get a full refund with the already spent Kohls cash deducted from the return. Believe me when I say, I was not happy with this. I truly was shocked. At first I thought the girl must be new and didn't understand. Why should I lose money? I was happy to take a store credit and spend the money in Kohls. However, they stopped doing that and expect the customer to take the hit by having the Kohls cash deducted from the refund. A manager came over and repeated the same spiel as the clerk. She said they changed their policy three years ago, which is a lie anyway. I said then that I was changing where I would be shopping in the future because the games that Kohls plays with their sales and Kohls cash is a waste of my time. I saw a flash of agreement on her face, but she was loyal to corporate. She couldn't override their "system", but gave me the rest of my refund by deducting money off another purchase. I stood my ground and threatened to call corporate and complain. I wasted valuable time advocating for my pocket book. I know customers behind me heard my complaints too. If I had been a little mouse and not spoken up, Kohls would have stolen $25. from me, which was so dumb of them because I was happy to take a credit and spend it in their store. Needless to say, Macy's and JCPenny are offering great deals and lots of coupons too, so Kohls isn't going to be my first choice for shopping and their "Kohls cash" deals aren't going to draw me into the store anymore. Its not worth the aggravation unless you are absolutely sure you're keeping the items before using the Kohls cash. read more

The staff here are oblivious to CUSTOMER SERVICE. they spend more time chit chatting with each other than working. Also when I asked a question of a manager she looked at me like I was a bug on her shoe. (and I know I was dressed appropriately I work in an executve office and came from work) I am not sure what I interupped her doing, but she was NOT happy to assist me. I was directed to what I was looking for, but I felt I was putting her out just to do her job. On my next shopping trip, my sisters was picking up items she had put on hold, they lost them. so she had to spend an hour finding all the things she had asked them to hold for her, it was 2 days later. Why offer to hold items if your not going to be able to find them 2 days later? This store has alot of items, but finding what you need at the cost of a plesant shopping experience makes this a store I will pass up. read more

Nice. I was just leaving the Sheraton when I realized I had absolutely nothing to wear to a Halloween party I had been invited to. In addition, when I was at Incontro the night before, one of the valets had kicked out the left matching pair of my flip flops, so I was sporting some nasty blisters from walking around in heels all day. Not to mention the sudden bloat my feet experienced on the plane. I pulled into the Kohl's here, all business, since I was on my way to work. The nice thing about these stores, is that the layout is the same. Be it in MA or CA, I had no problem finding a cute pair of crimson patent ballet flats that were priced around $30 by Natural Sole by Naturalizer. I decided to go as a Japanese school student, since I already had one part of it going. But the tartan plaid skirts here were wayyyyyyyy too short and there was no way I was walking out of the Intercontinental looking like that, since I was staying there later that evening. I decided on a cheesy red plaid romper that I could wear over a white oxford with pigtails. That came out to around $15.00. The sales staff was not too smiley, but I was in no mood for expectations or assumptions. I was out of there in under 30 minutes and ready for the party that night. read more

I am absolutely in love with Kohl's in Milford. I live in Westwood, and if you have any sense of where that is, you'd be able to put two-and-two together that I used to shop at the Walpole Kohl's due to the convenience to my house. Unfortunately, even after lots of renovations and upgrades, that store will NEVER even come close to this one and is why I make the long trek down Route 109 to the Milford Kohl's, whenever I have Kohl's Cash to use, see something "stellar" in one of their many ads, or have a spectacular coupon to use. If you haven't been to Kohl's in a while, it's really a great store, and one of, if not, THE best clothing / housewares store in the Milford area. Kohl's has tons of rewards programs, such as Yes2You Rewards (a regular rewards program) and their Kohl's Charge (a Kohl's Credit Card). They give out "Kohl's Cash" often. Normally, they give either $5 for every $25 purchase or $10 for $50 purchase. If you have ever shopped at Macy's, it's similar to Macy's Money. What makes the Milford location outdo the Walpole one any day is the staff, the size of the store, the renovations, and the crowd. This plaza has lots of parking and isn't EVER as busy as the one in Walpole. During anytime even relatively close to any holiday they have lines tailing throughout the main right aisle in their store. No joke. I have observed it literally be at least 10 people long. Here, in Milford, there are two checkout areas and never have I seen either one of them be longer than 4 people in queue. I also prefer how this Kohl's has ONE set line. At the other Kohl's they have individual lines per each individual register. Here, there is one line so it is fair and fast. The store is large, much larger than the others, has much more inventory, and isn't ever as picked over as the others. The layout can be sort of difficult to navigate at some places, but overall it works. Also, the staff at this store are outstanding! Annie, one of the cashiers is super friendly, kind and helpful, and John, the manager is hysterical! He always puts his customers first, and brightens up their day with a positive attitude and plenty of energy! He does an incredible job running the store and makes me continuously make the drive to Milford. Love this Kohl's.... hopefully it's always this way, because right now, there is no way this store could be any better. Look out Walpole Kohl's.... you have some MAJOR competition! read more

I actually have two complaints on the same day. (bad day for me)...In the morning I called customer service to correct my account. It seems that they have set my husband up with an account. He has never even been into a Kohls store nor has he purchased anything online from them. When I try to use my account, my husbands name keeps popping up and I cannot access my account. I asked customer service to assist me in my quest to use my account. I was told that they could help me. I also stated that I did not have access to a computer at this time. He assured me that this was "not a problem." "Now, log into your account..I'll wait." Did you not hear me just state I did not have access to a computer? "Then we cannot help you. You must be on a computer." I hung up. Later that morning I went to Kohls in Milford, MA. I asked an employee if she could direct me to the men's big and tall department. She led me right to the department. I was looking for mens' slacks. I searched (I thought) everywhere to no avail. A supervisor saw me and asked if he could help. Then he asked a clerk, Leanne, to show me the pants. The jeans were on the bottom two shelves of a display of I think of shirts. Behind that display was about 8 pairs of slacks amongst some mens shirts. I mentioned that this is why I could not find them. They were not easily seen. Whereas Leanne proceeded to say "did you want me to put bells and whistles on them?" This was certainly uncalled for. She was extremely rude to me, a potential customer. I will think twice before shopping at this Kohls again. Very unsatisfied customer. read more

Let me start by saying, I went in rather upset. I tried and tried to order chairs online with no luck or success. Grrr I even tried to get help with their customer service online, again no joy. So I trot my backside to the store fully expecting to get the: You need to order that online because we don't have it in stock. Boy was I smacked with a dose of surprise. I got to the store and waited in line, the store was moderately busy. I was thinking oh goody another reason for them to blow me off and push me out the door. (Side note, I've had several negative experiences with this store already). Well, it's my turn and I'm next. I walk up to the counter and speak with Julie. She smiled and said let's go over to the kiosk. *Still in my mind I'm thinking she's going to just point and say go there dummy. But she did NOT. She stayed with me and asked what kind of chair and how many she was working the controls at the same time instructing me if for future visits I need to find something here is the place to go. But for this visit she was doing the driving. I was impressed to say the least. Never lost her smile, patience, or professionalism. Did I say I was impressed? Well, I was floored by her approach. After she couldn't find the chairs, I was about to give up because she did everything but make that machine sing the Star Spangled Banner. WOW Nope, Julie did not give up. She asked that I walk back over to the service desk. There we met Annie (the miracle worker). Now at this point I THOUGHT I couldn't be more impressed. Oh boy was I wrong. Annie scanned the tag I had (see I already bought 2 chairs and wanted 10 more). She then started working her magic. Within minutes she was on the PHONE calling another store. WHAT? OMG! She found the chairs and turned to me and said: What color? My thought was: Are you freaking kidding me? Not only did she find the chairs but offered a color choice. At this point I was thinking: I want to hug this woman. But don't want to get arrested so.... I gave her my choices and she started writing on a pieces of paper. The address, The SKU, The colors, The POC at the other store Her name and contact info just in case there was any issues when I got there. So, off I went and picked up my chairs with no hitches or hiccups. Kohls, you have two amazing people working for your store: Julie and Annie. To all future customers: If you have an issue at this store - ask for one of them. They are amazing angels. read more

I went here with my wife one day. She wanted to look at some clothes and went to the dressing room and I sat outside the door... The dressing room was not labeled man/woman by the way. Then a woman who works there, some older woman with blonde hair came in and yelled at me and said "this is a woman's dressing room!" She embarrassed me and made me feel like I was a creep, when really I was sitting where everyone could see me. My wife came out after hearing this woman yell at me and she said we will NEVER go back to the kohls in Milford. That woman was the rudest, most horrible employee I have ever seen. Good thing my wife got us out of that store or I would have told her off and embarrassed her like she did to me!!! read more

I am speaking specifically about their selection for boys clothes 10 to 14 range. The choices are so limited, save for some Tony hawk. They really have a hard time with proper trends for boys at that age. And teen girls don't fare that much better. They should work on that. read more

A review on Mattel Hot Wheels - Wall Tracks Product, purchased at Kohls. Avoid this product. It is usable by only certain Mattel Hot Wheels cars. The adhesive provided is strong enough to adhere to the wall, but too strong to take off/reposition easy enough. An adjustable mount would have been preferable to account for angle/speed adjustments. The 3M Command adhesive strips provided are super strong and aren't so friendly to take off/reposition. Repositioning will be necessary to achieve the appropriate angle for the cars to maintain speed to finish the course. I am hardly a novice with kid's toys as I am the go to Uncle for setup ages 2 - 10. It ships with one vehicle that Mattel has been kind enough to stipulate as being the proper car to use and that the system is not for use will all Hot Wheels. With a franchise the size of Hot Wheels, any car should be suitable to use on these tracks. We tried approximately 50 cars, out of which four would work on this wall system. The last time I visited, my nephews had at least 100 of these cars. The plastic connector pieces for the standard orange tracks Hot Wheels has always had now includes a plastic nub to secure the tracks in place. These nubs and the length of these pieces render them useless to secure the other pieces as the guides on the underside are shorter. If you have already purchased and your child has decided it's his favorite toy, I recommend angling the mount brackets downward slightly more than the template calls for. You'll get it upon opening the product. Another fine display of corporate/proprietary disclaimers forcing the consumers to buy certain for this, only for that resulting in a mish mash of toys usable only with certain toys. I've seen this also with Thomas the Tank and their various track sets. A comparable purchase would be the drive up the wall set. It's smaller, the concept is simpler, is portable and will result in less bad moods overall. read more

Returned clothes/shoes in various sizes purchased for my grand daughter. Got home, checked through the returned items on the receipt, 2 of the items taken back were not credited. Called the store; they have the items; will credit, BUT I must go back to the store to do this. I live 30 minutes away, so 1 hour drive. They WILL NOT do it over the phone! It's a credit, not a charge....and they were at fault. How ridiculous is that?!?!?! I have not yet gone back.... Customer Service definitely lacking ;( read more

I went here today and got some great deals. Yes, it takes time to sort through the clearance racks since they are not sized and have no rhyme or reason to them, but it can be worth it. I had time to shop at my leisure today so took advantage of the time I had to search. There was no line to checkout and best of all they didn't try to pressure me into applying for a credit card. read more

Worst customer service ever!! Judy at customer service was beyond rude. Forget the no hassle return policy she told me the clothes I was returning looked like they had been worn and smelled like mold and there was no way she could resell them. I had the clothes in their original bag with all tags still attached. I can't believe someone in customer service could talk to a customer like this.
