Went to Men's warehouse to get fitted for my friends wedding. Associated acted like he didn't want to deal with us and stated that it would be a 30 minutes wait. Didn't make us feel welcome at all. I would suggest finding a place where your business is more important. read more

If I could I would give 10 stars! James came to our rescue when we needed a last minute suit for a wedding. We arrived right before closing at 830pm. He was incredibly informative and respectful as we needed education about the different styles of suits and accessories. James gave us the VIP service even when we spotted a fun suit on the back clearance rack. He showed no judgement of our bargain suit and continued to guide us in how a suit should fit and how the sizes work. I highly recommend going to the Franklin Men's Wearhouse and look for James to help you. We had the most relaxing, pleasant experience. read more

Went in for a prom tux rental, got taken care of right away, the staff was awesome and super charismatic, and I got a great pickup date and return date on a great tux, would definitely recommend, I don't know what people are talking about the customer service but it was awesome read more

Went to the Emerald Square location and the service was extremely poor, not even a hello when you walk in. My husband was looking for a suit for our son's wedding and we actually left and checked out JCPENNEY, which was also awful and we came back and still got no attention. Multiple thumbs read more

TERRIBLE SERVICE-Start to finish!! I went to go get my suit in the on a normal Wednesday at around 1pm. Walked in... staff of at least 5 on and many people were there. After being told just a few minutes... I waited about 25 before a woman said I'll be right with you just fill out this form and I'll be right back. 15 minutes later she came back and said I couldn't be fitted today as it was busy. She took my information on the form after I told her I could come back on a Friday and set up an appointment time. I go on that Friday and they hand me another form. I told the woman I had filled one out the other day when I made the appointment. She said that they don't save them and there was no reason I should have filled one out before. I finish that process and head home. I go 3 days before the wedding to pick it up. There were multiple people working at the desk. The boy who helped me took me to the fitting room and told me I could try it on. After putting it on I went outside to find him and after a few minutes of waiting he looked over after I yelled "I'm all set" and he said it looks like it fits from his chair in the other room and said you are all set. I take it all off and head to the hallway and not one person helped to put my suit back in the garment bag. I had seen them do it for the person before. I walked out without being acknowledged by anyone and was told nothing. After the wedding I didn't know how long I had to return it. I heard nothing from the store and no one told me about the date to return, how much the fees are if late, and what that looked like. I go in today and the man that helped said "your late fee is $200.00." I told him that's more than the suit rental cost. And he said "that's why we tell you to return it on the date." I told him no one told me the date. He said "it's on the form. I tell everyone the return date and that it's $20 a day." I told him the gentleman didn't even help with my fitting and didn't even put my garments in the bag. And he said "we all tell our customers that information." I told him... he didn't and this is outrageous. My wedding party I was a part of had so many problems. This man had no care that his peer didn't do his job correctly and made me feel belittled and quite frankly like I was stupid and beneath him. The training of these associates is not good if they can't give important information and the charges are ridiculous. Never again with this location. However, Mens Wearhouse customer service did reach out and fix this problem. Thank you for your help. read more

On May 11 I placed an online order for a tux rental for a prom on 6/1. The tux was supposed to be delivered to the Franklin Massachusetts store on 5/30. When we went to pick up the tux, we were told they couldn't find the order, it never processed, despite having an order number and having a visa card inputted. Online customer service apologized and assured us they could get the tux the morning of the event. Now we are being told they have no idea when the tux will arrive at the store(the event is later this afternoon) So my son is left without a tuxedo rental for prom today. Go elsewhere. Men's Wearhouse may leave you stuck with no rental rental for your important occasion. read more

Went to a local MA Men's Wearhouse to rent a TUX/SUIT for my son's Prom in 2022. Upon pick up of the TUX (day before the Prom) Men's Wearhouse gave us Gray Pants with the Navy Tux/Suit that was ordered and fitted. They could not find the pants in his size so substituted the Navy Pants with Gray Pants.....Instead of searching other Men's Wearhouse Stores for the correct pants and color they suggested another TUX/SUIT. Back in December my father-in-law passed away and I needed a suit for my 23-year-old. The salesman was great. He was friendly and a great conversationalist with my son. Unfortunately because of my sons tall slender but wide shoulders and long arms, we couldn't get a matching suit at that time . He found him a suit jacket ant pants that could later on be converted into a more dressy suit. He suited him up with everything he needed and wasn't pushy about adding anything on. I recently had two terrible experiences at this Mens Warehouse location. The Staff members I interacted with were 'Michelle - sales assistant' and 'Florame - manager'. My Dad, brother and myself went in to be measured and fitted a couple of weeks ago. Upon arriving and explaining we were interested in renting suits for a wedding event taking place on November 30th it seemed as though we were inconveniencing the 4 staff members that were there. Michelle treated us with what seemed extreme distain, resentment and was very unprofessional. She took our measurements after a long wait and I asked which suits we would be receive. All 3 of us requested a full package-Suit, shirt, waistcoat, tie, shoes. She showed me the floor model and she said we would receive a call once they arrived in. No phone call came and I called in on the 29th. My experience was even worse this time. My shoes were missing from the package and was told I didn't request them.. My jacket was too big, a bad fit, terrible quality compared to the material on the floor on which I was told our suits would be. I requested slim fit pants the day of ordering- the pants I received were like balloon pants, My shirt was way too tight at the collar. I even wonder if my measurements were written down the day we ordered. When I spoke to the sales assistant (I didn't get his name) an tried to explain, another sales assistant came over shouted in my face that the jackets are all the same quality and that was that. The manager Florame told me that I had two options, take it or leave it. She said usually they wouldn't rent to such a small party, 'I asked if she was somehow saying she was doing me a favor'. I requested my refund and didn't accept the clothing. My brother shirt and waistcoat were too tight also-he was told he had no other option. The staff at this location have absolutely no idea of what customer service is. I have been a business owner for the past 10 years and would never dream of treating a customer in the manner they did to my family a I. I would seriously advise to avoid this store, I have written to BBB and hope that some changes are made by corporate once they received the complaint. I hope that Corporate management take this complaint seriously as it reflects the company as a whole. You are only as strong as your weakest link and from some of the reviews, complaints, stories and dedicated websites to issues I have seen about the operation and customer service flops & fails- this may only be the tip of the ice berg. Long lasting companies change, adapt and rectify issues when they arise. Hopefully changes will be made. I am not one for making a fuss usually but there is a legitimate problem here. read more

Bought a new suit here for a funeral this week. Avoid going to to the tiny little man with the diamond earring. This guy couldn't measure a suit to save his life. I look like my hammer in the 90's. Got tux rentals here for my best friends wedding and there was a whole slue of issues. The first time we all went for our fitting it seemed pretty quick and easy. But a couple guys went back to get refitted as the wedding date approached and the sizing was so off they recommended the rest of us go to double check. 7 out of 9 of us had major changes in sizing without any notable weight fluctuations. Imagine if we didn't get refitted until we picked up a whole order of ill fitting tuxes? When it came time to pick up the process was fine but the pants were pressed real terribly. The crease was angled and railroaded. The tie they gave me was ready for the garbage it was clearly very well worn, and the groom described it as "well seasoned"... lol. I had to work the day before the wedding so my grandfather offered to go back for me to try and get the pant situation sorted and exchange the shoes for 1/2 size bigger and he said he was treated rudely and the person helping seemed uninterested in helping. When we returned the rental we asked for the store manager. I don't remember her name but she was friendly and very willing to listen to our concerns. She offered us a $25 gift card for the issues which we were not expecting, we did not ask for reimbursement or anything so that was appreciated. Had she not been there at the time this would be a 1 star review. read more

First time dealing with this branch for a tuxedo rental: 1.) Never got a call that my tux was in and ready to be picked up. 2.) Forgot to pack my shirt after my final fitting, my groomsmen had to go and pick it up on wedding day. I never bothered to check because I assumed it'd be packed, but guess not. 3.) Pretty sure they ordered the wrong sizes for me. I had a refitting and dropped down a size in a couple items and I received sizes from my initial fitting. Overall, everything worked out and they were nice in store but execution was very poor. Hopefully I have better luck with another branch in the future for any rentals or purchases as I'll be going to other Mens Warehouses for any suit/tuxedo needs. I did learn my lesson though, never assume that people do their jobs correctly and always double check their work. read more

Had a great experience today with Greg. Super helpful with my needs- but my only complaint was that he was unsure if he could fill my volume order. A chain of this size should have no supply chain issues filling small (ish) orders. But I'd recommend Greg and Co for your needs. read more

Just visited the store. Few customers. Multiple staff. Absolutely no greeting or interaction from anybody. Customer service is a small price to pay, particularly for the opportunity to purchase overpriced clothing purchased from a store that is located just three doors down from a Marshall's (for which I have no professional affiliation). Does not reflect positively for Men's Wearhouse. Would recommend anyone in the area consider Spallone and Sons in Milford instead. read more

She was very patient while tracking down 2 out of state orders and 1 last minute change the bride made to the shirt color. I rarely write reviews, but I feel compelled to express my disappointment with this store. I went in recently to find a shirt and tie to match with a pair of patterned dress pants. The sales associate was rude, and completely uninterested in helping me and wow, what an attitude. I told him what I was looking for, gave him my size and he said those shirts are over there-pointing to a wall of shirts. They were having their usual by one get one free sale, I asked the sales associate (since I didn't need two dress shirts) if I could get a casual shirt instead. I was curtly responded to with a NO. When I asked why, he said that dress shirts are dress shirts, casual shirts are different. (mind you they are same price or less). In my haste to get out of the store and when I returned home, I noticed that the tie I had purchased there had a significant pull in the silk. I returned it to the store and was told that the tie was no longer in stock and that it would have to be ordered. Since it was a return I requested that they mail it to my home and they refused saying that it would have to be picked up unless I was willing to pay for shipping. I find their store description quite interesting. Here is what they promise their patrons: "Men's Wearhouse has been offering quality and personalized service for more than 35 years. The story of the Men's Wearhouse is a story of customer service. Our wardrobe consultants go beyond a customer's initial request to make sure he is truly satisfied with his shopping experience." Really? This may be the case in other MW stores, but certainly not in Franklin. I would agree that in the past MW would go above and beyond to assure a positive customer experience. Unfortunately, things have completely changed ever since they ousted George Zimmer. This will certainly be my last trip to the Franklin MW. There are many more options for (better quality) men's clothing without the attitude. read more

Extremely disappointing. I went in with my fiance, his best man, his father, and his mother looking to rent 7 suits or tuxes for our wedding. I was appalled at the service that I received from Michelle (who is supposed to be a manager). At the beginning she kept insisting that all they had was $250+ and when my fiance asked about the online sale she said it was non-existent and that we couldn't get anything cheaper than $250. When he pulled up the $99 example on his phone she said "oh, well that is for tuxes, not suits" so it was obvious at that point that she worked on commission (at least that's the only reason I can think of for her attitude through the rest of the appointment). Once we decided on a tux, she insisted that if we were going to return them two days after the wedding, we should buy instead of rent. She kept saying "trust me, you need to buy if you are not returning them the day after the wedding". We told her our wedding was 3 hours away from the nearest location and our guests would be staying at the venue for 2 additional days and she told us there was no wiggle room with the returns and that we definitely needed to buy, never mentioning the price difference at all. Side note: Joseph A. Bank, which is owned by the same company, told us that they would give us an additional day for free, and that it's only $20 extra per day after that. When we asked what tuxes were available she gave us two brand names and pointed to a row of 5/6 mannequins without bothering to come around the counter and point to the correct styles or tell us about the differences. I had to ask "which ones are you talking about" to which she told me the color of those two and still did not come around the counter to help us. This type of service went on and on. She seemed extremely disinterested in our business from the moment we told her we want to rent, not buy, and we wanted tuxes, not suits. When we told her we couldn't choose between two colors and I asked if my fiance could try them both on, she replied "here's the thing, men don't play dress up like the girls do. We just measure them and then we place the order. They don't try them on". I had to hold my tongue at this point. Girls don't "play dress up" when looking at what to wear for their wedding. They shop for a beautiful dress for the most important day of their lives. I felt belittled and offended. Everyone knows the bride makes the decisions so I would think she would want to treat me like an important customer and not some girl who came in to "play dress up". I then asked if there were similar styles that they could try on for size and she told me that they didn't have anything. I'm not sure what other people do, but I was not willing to commit $1,400 in rentals without even being able to try anything on for size. Everyone with me was surprised at the lack of professionalism and assistance at a company that is supposed to pride itself on customer service. The motto on their website says "For over 40 years we've been helping men like the way they look. We've been able to make good on that promise thanks to the world class customer service delivered each and every day by our dedicated employees" and it could not be farther from the truth. We walked into the store excited to choose outfits for the whole wedding party, and needless to say we walked out of the store disappointed, and drove 5 minutes to Joseph A. Bank in Bellingham where we received exceptional service. In short, if anyone is looking to rent a tux from Men's Warehouse, I would recommend either going to Joseph A. Bank instead, or at least asking to work with any associate other than Michelle. Maybe it was because she works on commission, or maybe she was just having a bad day, but I don't think it's worth spending your money at a place where the managers do not respect their customers. read more

Rented suit pants and a white button up for a friends wedding. Was measured and everything. Had to travel eight states away for this wedding. Picked up the cloths and tried them on at home, pants were 2.5" too short and shirt was two sizes too big. Upon returning them, I was told that I am trying to get the late fee waived when I complained. I had to have the pants tailored eight states away and buy a similiar shirt from a store nearby where I was. read more

A few months I decided to buy a two suits for business and the experience at first was absolutely pleasant. The first guy I forget his name he was a middle aged man and was absolutely awesome. A very high pressure salesman but not to the point of being aggravating. Got my suits and he worked a deal with his boss that I could get my tailoring for free on one suit and discounted on the other. I spent just overr $1000 for two suits. It was buy one get one half off or something. Sure fine that works for me. A week goes by and I get a call to come pick up my suits. I go in and want to pick up my suits. I try them on they fit they are great. The kid working there gets them ready and tells me I have to pay $65 for additional tailoring. I show him my receipt and he keeps telling me I have to pay it. Manager comes up and tells me I do not have to pay. Gee thanks for wasting 20 minutes of my irreplaceable time.... fast forward to mid June. I'm getting ready for a business trip. I decide to wear my Tommy hilfinger suit I have worn once before when I tried it on in the shop. I put it on and to my surprise after around an hour the stitching in the crotch falls out. As in a very noticeable very large hole. Great so I have an hour or so to kill before I need to drive into Logan. I call the men's warehouse and I'm told there is nothing they could do. I paid list price on a suit and the tailor did a pisspoor job. I had to pay out of pocket a kings ransom to get a local tailor to do do a quick emergency job before my trip. When someone spends four figures you treat them good. Next time I need a suit I'll find a small mom and pop type shop. I know I will pay a little more but when it comes down to it I'll have better quality. read more

Terrible service!! I've gone three different times to buy a suite. You would think after 1 hour they'd notice and try their hardest to help you. Recently I (bride along with father and fiancé) have been to your Franklin, MA location for our Bridal Rental. We picked up our Vera Wang Tux rentals last night 04/15/14 and I must say I am a disappointed in the way we were spoken to and handled. There were issues with one rental that clearly stated no shoes at the original time of rental, however the charge was listed with the shoes and the "manager" had no idea how to handle this. (A Sales associate was able to assist and get it resolved) We were then pushed on the fitting room where a young man immediately gave off an aggravated vibe by shaking his head and slamming the chair in behind the desk (which he did once he sent the 2 gentlemen into the fitting room. I am guessing at that time he did not know I was part of the party). When my two parties came out of the fitting room with their Tux's on and had questions the young man could not answer any questions on how they were suppose to fit or even how to tie the back of the vests! He called in the "manager" who just repeated "these are rentals they are made to fit all bodies" Which everyone can understand, however he was extremely arrogant and repeated over and over how they are only rentals and stating these are not Calvin Klein shirts they are rentals. They will not fit like the "Calvin Klein". When I asked him for an honest feedback on my fiancé's pants (whether it was too tight in the front) he simply said "what's it suppose to look like" "they aren't low risers" I am not sure what kind of training is done for people to be a manager but speaking from personal experience, his arrogance and repeated "rental" lines were rude. Whether it is Renting or buying a Tux it is a big deal. I have purchased my wedding gown at David's Bridal so yes, we did get a discount however we are still spending a lot of money on rentals through Men's Warehouse and expected to receive respect and help in a professional manor instead of leaving there feeling like "its just a rental and there is nothing Men's Warehouse can do". One of our vests still is not tied correctly, but I will be sure to look at it closer and fix myself. We have purchased suits at this location in the past; however going forward I will not make any other purchases or rentals. I suggest Men's Warehouse looks into their staff's body language and knowledge of tux's and suits. I understand we all don't love our jobs, however when you are at work, you work and if you're a sales person, be a true sales person not an arrogant one and always remember customer service. this is by far the worst store I have ever been to after a dozen visits to fix screwed up problems that the staff, manager have casued I have yet to hear the words "sorry" for any of the grief they have casued before my wedding. Great suggestions but let us allow our personality to shine through and he had a great sense of humor. Only reason we give 4 stars is because we have to wait for a couple items to be ordered. Brought my son to the Franklin store last weekend to get fitted for a tux for his first formal dance. He is extremely shy as he has high functioning Autism, barely makes eye contact and speaks as quietly and as little as possible in public. I was worried when I saw the young men associates (close to my son's age) that they might treat him inferiorly or just coldly. They were extremely kind and patient with him and treated him with the same sense of casual but respectful "young guy camaraderie" that they would to a typical peer. I'm sure they do not even realize that they did anything special that day....which is what is most special about it... but they re-ignited my faith in humanity and in my son's generation (after many years of bullying in the public school) to be treated respectfully as an equal, such as he deserves, without me having to advocate for him to be treated with decency. We left the public school years ago completely shut down from horrible treatment by peers. He's continued to recover socially and has been thriving in his private school for bright students with social disabilities..... just him taking the leap to go to a dance.... and to tolerate the experience of a stranger measuring him for a tux blows my mind. If the associates hadn't been kind and respectful, my son would have left and I'm sure not attended the dance and subsequently taken many steps backward in his social recovery. They had no idea that they were part of a critical social recovery milestone for him, I'm so grateful that they gave him this positive experience in return for the social risks he is bravely beginning to take. i read the reviews and found that I was not alone stating that there are two very rude salespeople in the Franklin Store, Two of my family encountered disrespect when asking questions about clothing .
