Forcing Kohls rewards sign up to return amazon items. Told multiple people if you don't, "there are other return options to go to". I wouldn't typically care because I know how to get around these things but watching all the older folks fumble trying to find their emails to be forced into a rewards membership just to return items seems shady. read more

I was at the checkout stand when a short hispanic woman was yelling at a sales assiciate right in front of everyone not realizing she could be heard. The other woman sales associate looked dejected and the short lady left. I ask who is that and they replied oh that's Constance the manager and she is like that all the time. We've lost so many employees because of her poor attitude and her terrible people skills. I was shocked to hear 2 cashiers agree with each other. I asked do most employees feel that way and they a big yes! I understand taking an employee aside and talking to them but not loud enough were customers can hear and see the dejection on an employees face. I do no think I will be shoping here anymore. Plus the Joliet store has a wider selection and the Managers nice and has been there for years. read more

I have had Excellent Customer Service experience. For the most part while seeing the cashiers team Asia, Dianee, Ashley and Mgr's at the store are very polite and ask if their's anything I needed that maybe I couldn't find. In addition if their's a discount or Kohl's cash that I might have they check for me. Caring about saving the customer money. I will continue shopping here and will refer family and friends the awesome experience I have at the Kohl's Romeoville store. Keep up the great work team!!! Thank you!! read more

Inconsistent customer service and return policies. Came to exchange a gifted apparel item that was sized too large, and had misplaced the gift receipt. The associate whom I explained the situation to at Customer Svc assured me that it could be exchanged for a like item of different size regardless. "Not So" said the two different (and younger) associates who staffed the counter when I returned with the Medium that fit better than the Large Tall item. She dutifully apologized for the "miscommunication" and proceeded to offer $10 store credit for an item priced at $60. The original associate who promised an exchange was in the back room and heard the entire discussion, but evidently chose to not intervene. I've been trying to support local brick-and-mortar retail stores rather then online competitors that offer fast/free shipping and more generous return policies, but this experience has succeeded in tipping my opinion... Given Kohls' penchant for offering discounts after first marking up their items, and their less than friendly return policies, I'll be actively encouraging family and friends to give their business to other alternatives. read more

This Kohl's is a waste of time. I walked in to only pay my bill. It was around 8pm on a Saturday night. There were hardly any customers. On the ladies side of the store an employee was folding clothes. No one at the registers. So I walked over to the men's side of the store. No one there at the register either although, there were two employees by a table gossiping about their daily lives. This went on for several minutes while I stood at the register waiting for someone to come over. One lady was staring right at me while she talked. Finally, the other turned around and walked over. I decided there to pay my card in full. So it's paid off and Monday I'll be canceling this card. I'm over bad service. I'll stick to Macy's where the employees actually are willing to help. I can see why it's always dead in this store. read more

I would give a negative if I could. I walked in and found a Mickey mouse tee shirt. I had the size I needed in my hand when an associate came up to me and took it from me saying that size was promised to someone on the phone. How could you promise it if you were not sure if it was on the shelf? She should have told the caller the size was gone. Come to find out this person was a manager she was in the jewelry area. My guess it was for one of her friends. I let the cashier know of my experience and she felt bad and said she would let the store manager know. HORRIBLE KOHLS EXPEEIENCE WONT BE GOING BACK TO THAT STORE! read more

We came here on Black Friday. Of course we expected it to be crowded, out of carts and a mess. It was. What we didn't expect was the awful service. Awful service at at jewelry counter: my husband wanted to see a watch. Three woman were standing behind the counter talking. We interrupted them. They asked us to take a number. Take a number? We are the only people at the counter and you three are having a personal conversation. My husband and I both voiced our opinion. A manager then walked over and said "if there is no one in line there is no need to make people take numbers." The people at the jewelry counter lack common sense. Awful service number two: after standing in line for over an hour (we expected it, it was Black Friday) we arrived home with the security tag still on my bra. I am adding a picture as proof. I mean come on...we stood in line as the slowest associates ever wrong up customers and you couldn't check our order for security tags? Unreal. This store hires the slowest employees who don't seem to care are their job. The people at the service desk seem miserable and everyone moves so slow. read more

This is the WOREST EVER kohl's I have been to. Second time in a row have the store been a mess can't find ANYTHING in the children department shelfs with clothes thrown on them. Very rude customer service each time I had shop. Most importantly the store is not handicapped accessible or does it have riding carts. The best part is I checked online and called the store to make sure they had a certain item in stock Bc the website said it was there and I called lady said yes, I get there haha nope not in stock! DONE DONE! read more

So I was feeling a little girly and bought some frames for some prints I'd recently picked up. I ended up here thinking I'd be spending an arm and a leg on frames, but that was not the case! ALL picture frames were 55% off! I made my way to the register with the goods and was waited on by a really helpful young woman, who 1) was chatty and not in a fake kind of way 2) gave me an extra discount... not even sure what I did 3) double bagged the frames since they were heavy, and 4) even opened the doors for me when I was leaving. Wow! I wish I'd kept the receipt so I could send an email to the store. She's given me faith that there are some people working retail that still give a damn. read more

Was very cold and did not pack for the weather. Im from arizona, of course I thought its 80 degrees everywhere in May. So Kohls bailed me out. Was able to find a light jacket and on clearance. Only problem, their service is awful. They're in the middle of bringing in the summer clothes. So there wasn't much choice for a jacket. I had to find someone to ask questions. However made me feel that I was bothering him. Luckily I was able to find it on my own. Kohls is a decent place, usually able to find what I need. Just this place needs better training. read more

Nice store..friendly staff! I believe Kohl's is having an identity crisis with Macy's.. they've gotten pricey.. and the women's department is just plain boring..regardless.. I keep trying. Walked out without purchasing anything the last couple of times. Hopefully things will get better with the holidays coming. read more

They have a nice selection and very nice staff. They've gotten a lot worse about stipulations on coupons. A lot of things they no longer accept coupons on which is disappointing but normally you can always get a good deal on clothes. Love the selection of children's clothes and shoes. read more
