I was pleasantly surprised with my last visit to Kohls. I have to admit, I hate shopping, unless it is grocery shopping. I mostly come into Kohl's for Amazon returns, and I have used their store pickup for something I have ordered online. However, I came in the other day looking to finish up some Christmas shopping. My father has dementia and frankly it gets hard to shop for him. He doesn't really go anywhere or do anything and textures can be an issue. Most of the time I end up spending money on something he never ends up using. But I ended up finding some really good deals here after striking out elsewhere. I got him a sweater, 1/4 zip fleece pullover, and some cushy socks. Also a Star wars T-shirt for my nephew. And absolutely EVERYTHING was on sale. I paid a great price for all of these things. Checkout was super quick, and I left happy. I have also ordered several pair of their tekgear leggings and have nothing but good things to say. I'm going to have to come back to Kohls. It was clean and well organized. And I walked out finished with Christmas. I am grateful. read more

I have not been inside of a Kohl's in years and today's visit made me wonder why. I was impressed with the selection and brands that Kohl's is carrying. They had several name brands like Eddie Bauer, Columbia, Adidas, Under Amour, Nike, and more. Much of the inventory here was on sale. Some of the sales were for up to 70% off, though most were more in the 50% range. They have Men's, Women's, Boys, Girls, Toddlers, and Infants sizes and selections I had several employees ask if they could help me, and several tell me hello, so I am going to say their service was very good. One gentleman helped me see if they had a Led Zeppelin t shirt in my size, which they did not, so I opted for one that was one size too big, but you can do that with t-shirts, right?! read more

It's my fault. I keep going into this store knowing it operates at sub par efficiency. At least this time while I shopped I was greeted by a few associates that were cheery and bright. They went out of their way to say hello. Awesome. I bought a pea coat for my son.. This is so minor but such a pain. They forgot to remove the security tag. I didn't realize it until I got home . Again not a big deal ! Given my last review though it is useful to know these associates must be so stressed or not trained that they miss such a routine thing. Store was not crowded and it was the first part of the day. Shout out to them for showing up to work. It's not an easy thing to deal with the public . Southlake store use to be awesome but not anymore. At first I thought it was just me. After two incident with two of employees I said heck no. This is a nice location with friendly customer service. I have been here a couple of times to drop off some Amazon returns and have had smooth transactions. Both times I also ended up shopping because they give you a 25% off coupon to redeem in-store. While I was looking at some shorts, a staff member noticed and showed me some others that looked similar. She even offered to grab me a cart once my arms started filling up. Don't judge me lol. Long story short, her personable customer service really made me feel like I was in a small boutique versus a department store. I also saw her being super kind to other customers as well. I don't know how long she has worked there, but if it's been long, she's still got it! If you like to try on clothes, note that the fitting rooms are still currently closed due to COVID. Me and my son went to shop here on 5-17-24 we were then followed the entire time we were here. I feel they went out of their way to make us uncomfortable. Im 44 my son is 15 I was shopping for my husband. They followed us all over even to the check out I paid for all my things. they has a women in all black standing there and two others behind us. This appears to be an extra large Kohl's. Maybe it is because it has two entrances but it seems bigger than the Irving store. The place is stuffed to the gills with items to purchase. This, unfortunately, can also cause small aisles and clutter. I mean, I love Kohl's, but when it is busy, it is hard to maneuver through the store. I don't shop here a lot. But I like to drop off my returns for Amazon. I went and this guy named Mike was working the counter. Idk what his deal was but he was so rude. I had four items to return. Started off with scanning the QR code and telling me "I only have three items on the QR code. Why is there an extra item?" I said "because I have to return them all, I have another QR" again, being an ass to me. Idk why, I say "idk which ones you have" twice and so I show him another one. Then he was like "you just showed me that one" I'm like "okay." And finally show him the right one. I walk out without saying thank you. Kohls, please do better. I've purposely taken a few days to think on this review. I spent time researching what I needed, a small electronic fitness item, and this location showed to have many of two different colors in stock per their online ordering option. I wanted the one in burgundy so I called to store to make sure it was there. The automated directory wasn't very simple and after 3 tries, I got to someone that tried really hard to help me. It is difficult for someone to know all of the ins and out of a large department store. The person went looking to verify they had stock. Multiple times she came back on the phone to ask qualifying questions over 16 plus minutes. She also admitted she wasn't familiar with the item. She couldn't locate it but since I knew what it looked like, perhaps I should come to the store to search. REALLY?? I did drive the 22 miles in the opposite direction of where I live and work for what I thought would be a quick find and buy outing. I saw they had 12 of the other color so I figured one way or another, they would have something I could use. Once I arrived, one sales associate handed me off to another and then another. I was told where the items should be so I began looking in the 4 possible areas. Organized store is not a description one would use with this location for a lot of their product. I searched and searched and didn't find any. I stopped and talked to a customer service manager and she just shrugged her shoulders. I seriously doubt I will return to this location. read more

Great prices, great sales and you get promotions almost weekly if you get a Kohls charge card. I can always find what I am looking for and more at this store. I love the children's clothing as they have a great variety of name brand clothes at lower than department store prices. I get a 10%, 20% or 30% off coupon in the mail on a regular basis and sometimes there is a promotion where you get $10.00 Kohls cash for every $50 you spend. That's like free money to use on your next purchase. The store is always clean and the salespeople are friendly. The wait to check out is never very long and if it is, they call another cashier to the floor. I had to return a pair of pants and they gave me no hassle. read more

Return a pair of shoes in exchange for a frying pan? Yes you can do that at Kohl's dept stores. That is why this location is earning five stars. I consider Kohl's an average department store that has nicer clothing and jewelry compared to Macy's and Sears. What stands out however, is the customer service. My wife ordered a pair of shoes from Kohl's online. (Apt 9) Unfortunately, the shoes were a size too big. In my opinion you can never tell on shoe size's while ordering online. I guess it really depends on the manufacture and whatever size they feel like aiming towards. Kohl's has a great policy where you can return your online items back to the store w/o hassle. There is a caveat though. If you used Kohl's cash (which you earn by spending $50.00 increments you get $10 back via Kohl's cash) to purchase your item and you return said item, you will lose the Kohl's cash. Normally not a big deal unless you spend the money on something else already. We had $15.00 of Kohl's cash tied up in other purchases. If you lose the Kohl's cash from those items that means you have to pay Kohl's the difference of the amount of the removed Kohl's cash. There is a way to solve this problem. If you return the item you bought and purchase something with the exact same retail price you can avoid the Kohl's cash issue. The shoes we returned retailed for $54.99. So with guidance from the store manager we had to switch out the shoes for the right size or find one item that we could use for $54.99. As luck would have it the shoes in stock were not the right size for my wife. So we had to find anything/something that was $54.99. I learned a valuable lesson that day. It is nearly impossible to find an item that you need for exactly the price your looking for. After about an half hour search we found glass tupper wear. In my thoughts something not worthy of our hard earned money. However, we did find a super nice frying pan retailing at $59.95. Five dollars over our retail price. I have heard of retails stores on occasions giving customers discounts. Would the same hold here at Kohl's? Only one way to find out. We went back up to the manager asking if we could switch out pan instead. The manger responded that as long as it is in the ball park we could work something out. We presented him the frying pan. He saw the price and said this would work perfectly. He went to work on the register switching everything out for us. This took him at least 10 mins to update everything for us. The best part it was no problem for him to do so. The store manager was very diligent in helping us out at Kohl's. We were able to walk into Kohl's with a pair of misfitted shoes and walk out with a brand new $59.99 frying pan for $54.99 plus we got to keep our Kohl's cash. It wasn't exactly the most efficient way to get a frying pan but the manager made it possible. From this experience and the fact that Kohl's has very fine selection of clothing and merchandise I will continue to shop there in the future. I give this Kohl's location five stars. The customer service is at this location full force. If you have a problem with something there or from online they will take care of it here. read more

The stock in this Kohl's isn't always the best. A lot of things in here are in the wrong place so you have to take the items you want to the standing scanner to actually find the price out. The employees are pretty friendly here too, but sometimes the lines can get out of control like any Kohl's. Parking is plentiful and there are other nice places in the area to shop. read more

I love coming to this Kohl's. The store is pretty clean and sales people warm and friendly. Even though the check out line was long, it moved fairly quickly. I really wanted to spend my kohl's cash so i stopped by at the Kohl's in Southlake. IMO, they cater to different tastes in women's clothes....i purchased 3 of the cutest tops and 2 lauren Conrad sweaters, Essie nail polish, and a perfume gift set. Kohl's is a typical department store. It's pretty easy to walk in and find something you like and that works for you. They are mainstream which is sometimes difficult to find. It's a large store so no one is jumping to help you, but I find the service adequate. I have purchased clothing, gifts, housewares, and jewelry here. All of the items were satisfactory and I have especially liked several of their styles in the ladies department. At Christmas time Kohl's has a lot of the pre-done gift boxes and most of them are great products and well packaged. Especially if you need to do office gifts or something for a party. read more

When Sephora opened in Kohl's at the Southlake store I was very skeptical but I decided to try it anyway. Although the products were the same great products, the folks working at that Sephora at the time knew absolutely nothing so I continued to go to the Southlake Townsquare Sephora. On Friday, Nov. 4th I needed a new heating blanket so I went to Kohl's and decided to pop into Sephora only because it was raining and I needed a travel mascara. I was greeted by Daniel and I was absolutely floored by the knowledge, professionalism and service I received by Daniel at that Sephora. I consider myself a make-up expert but he knew everything about every line that I liked. If you haven't tried the new Sephora in Kohl's I highly recommend trying this one again and hopefully Daniel will be working there. Thank you Sephora Kohl's for hiring professionals like Daniel. Found a new shower curtain that must have been a return from an internet purchase, or so our helpful associate, Bret, informed us. Originally something like $35, we got it for a massively reduced price of $3.00. Yeah, be jealous. Can't wait to hang it up and try it out with a nice warm shower. Wash my back?- I hope she will.... Love that the location has lots of price-checkers available. The last two pairs of Haggar pants purchased from Kohl's have had the lower ankle seam threading come loose. Both on the same leg around the same time. I would assume this is due to the lower quality of Haggar products sold by Kohl's. (Based on other Haggar pants I own that do not have this issue.) But I can not confirm that. My husband and I went to your store on Sunday 12/23 looking for pajamas for our kids. I was needing LT (large tall) for our son but there wasn't any left. I was nervous to ask for help because the store was busy and the associates were working hard to keep the store clean. But I did, the First Lady I asked wasn't familiar with the men's section but went to get someone else to help us. Within minutes our Elf asked what we were looking for. She asked for any other size and she would go check. I handed her a 4xl and off she went! (She was moving so quickly it was hard to keep up!!!!) she scanned, she looked, she typed some more and off she went flying thru the store. She found them in new deliveries that were on a rack by all the other pajama pants in men's. The last pair, the only pair of men's LT pajama pants in the store and I got them. It was like Christmas when my kids were little and I was searching for that most wanted, most annoying tickle me Elmo!!!!! I wish I got her name! She was so friendly, so quick and completed the task at hand for me! I can only describe her..... long blondish hair past her shoulders, pink reading glasses, an accent I could listen to all day, and a larger than life SMILE! I hope the store can recognize her in someway! I know being a sales associate during the Holiday season can be stressful, and hard.... she never portrayed that to me! My all-time favorite Kohl's. The first time I walked in here, they had an amazing selection of jeans, and men's clothing. And in the back, they had an organization selection of home decor. And the service was absolutely wonderful! They also had an absolutely great selection of NIKE shoes. And everything was one sale, and it was 50% or 90% off the retail prices in the actual stores. Horrible customer service at the Southlake, tx location. Store associates are not knowledgeable about availability of the items and how to gain access to items that require a key to unlock the item. I was told someone would meet me in the electronic department to help me. We waited 20 minutes without anyone coming. Had to ask another associate walking by for assistance. We would have went to another location, but did not feel like driving all over with a newborn baby and an antsy toddler and it was almost after 8pm.
