Stopped into Kohls a few weeks back looking for a superwoman shirt to fit the theme of a brunch I was hosting. Long behold there was only Superman options so I made it work. I was helped by Ms.Beth. She was super helpful, sweet, and was able the get me signed up for the rewards program with Kohls and Sephora. Saving a coin is my middle name! I'm a little blah about signing up for things in store because I'm just so uninterested at times, but Ms. Beth was not pushy explained the benefits and even though I don't shop at Kohls often she recommended I start as they have some nice items, which they did. Kohls in Sparks is a fantastic and fabulous wonderland of shopping. We came in to buy a new pan and Kerig coffee maker and left with so many beautiful clothes, cat toys and Christmas gifts. I bought my new kitty Banyon a large cat house that I have to build. He is going to go crazy with happiness. The selection at Kohls in Sparks was incredible, from toys, Christmas ornaments, blankets and beautiful Nine West Sequin suits, blouses and Vera Wang lounge wear. The quality and sizing make a shopper like me, so happy. I found clothing in my sizes and most everything is on sale. Mom and I both felt overjoyed on our shopping treasures: This made my shopping trip so memorable with my Mom. Checking out, our Five Star Cashier named Sol, so beautifully and carefully wrapped and bagged our new clothing, loungewear, cat toys and holiday ornaments with love and care. This meant so much to us. Cashier Sol showed us how much she cared by bagging our items the way we asked. Wow! So beautifully bagged with love. Ugh unfortunately our last visit was a real doozy...Mom is or was one of their most loyal customers but she has had it. Natalya was such a huge letdown. Couldn't believe the rudeness that oozed off of her. No empathy for anything or anyone. Her cold hard stare and her only words were "I don't make the rules" were harsh. Kohl's seems to be handling this covid crises pretty well. They have hand sanitizer stations set up near the entrance, all staff and customers wear masks, they've closed the fitting rooms, and they've extended their return policy. This visit, I needed to return a shirt that ended up not fitting and it was a painless process. The return counter is on the right side of the store near the back. I simply showed my slip and the funds were automatically put back into my Kohl's credit card as a statement credit. We ended buying a few things while here and while the checkout process took longer than expected, it was understandable given that they're wiping down the counters and credit card readers after each customer. Sad to say, kohls has gone downhill. I'm shopping there less and less and after my last experience maybe never again. Checking out takes a very long time. One line and hardly ever see enough people to check out. Last time was one person, 5-10 mins per person if you're lucky. Only one fitting room on one side of the store. Good luck if you're on the other side. Why can't they open the other one? Prices were a great incentive. After buying my teenage son 1 pair of pants, shoes and a shirt with discount, was $125. I always have a hard time finding the sizes available, it seems to never have complete sizes. It seems they are low on inventory. I hope they do better. I like the location. read more

This Kohl's is in NW Reno. I recently had a knee replacement so I'm really not walking much. I went to the store in NW Reno to buy some men's shorts. I parked near the entrance to where the Men's section is only to find I had to walk down to the other entrance, go in then walk all the way back to other entrance to shop. I'm not a big fan of Kohl since 99% of the time I shop here they don't have my size. I find they either only order small sizes or not enough of the larger size and it sells out fast. I'm not a big person but I am bigger than a 30 inch waist. I hope that they have pants in my size at least one pair so I can try them on and make sure they fit, then I order them online to get a color i want. And they were true to form and I had to search to find one pair that fit me in the style I wanted and try them on. I cannot see a reason now for one of the two entrances to be close except maybe they short staffed, although they did have two cashiers just standing around talking. I think their buyer(s) needs to realize not everyone has a size 30 or 32 waist and order more of the larger sizes. And it's situations like this that more and more people are buying their clothes online, simply because the product isn't available in the stores for them to shop. read more

I went to Khol's today for the first time in over a year. Same thing as a year ago, high prices, poor selection, a long line with only 1 cashier. It reminds me of the old Sears, just cleaner. I think Walmart next door has better selection and much better prices. The parking is awful, all the close places are reserved or for handicap and there were only a few being used. read more

What a great store. First time I went in there today since we moved up here a few months ago, and I love it. I spent over an hour cruising all the aisles and I cannot believe how many styles out in there. So many combinations of shirts that you cannot find anywhere else what a gem. I am so excited to have gone here today and I left with a lot of fun clothes. Everywhere I went in the store staff was great and especially the cashier Deb, she was so funny and we had a really good time. SHe even got me to open up a Kohls card whoops, don't tell the hubby. I never really shopped here until I was on a hunt for a dress for one of my daughters for their fall dance. We had hit a few other stores so I figured that we might as well check it out. While we didn't find a dress here we were able to pick up a pair of new shoes for one kiddo, a pair of pants for another and few items for myself. It is definitely a place that I will be checking out more often. The Kohl's cash for purchases is fantastic way to save a little on the next trip. I feel like you shouldn't have to DIG through the clothes to find your treasure because this is Khol's. Isn't this supposed to be one of the nicer department stores? No? The dressing rooms are ALWAYS dirty. Dirty meaning people toss their clothes they tried on, on the floor and it is just never cleaned up. Khol's always has good deals going on. I like the whole "spend $50, get $10 in Khol's cash" thing they have going on. I almost always spend $200 and the Khol's cash isn't like limit one or no stacking coupons. So after I looked an found a nice looking shirt on their clearance rack an I also wanted to check out their mens novelties shirts an found a "Avengers Endgame" shirts an well I guess I was ready to check out seeing that I didnt have much for help an well didnt wanna spend all day looking for help. So when I was going to check out I walked up an the lady happen to be finishing up with one guy. So with not alot of customers at the time i was there youd think you would have more people at check outs to help instead of having employees walking around. But whatever! As I approached the lady to check out she started to ring up my clothes an the shirt I got off the clearance rack rang up as not the sale price but the original price and when I asked her shes like "oh looks like someone hang it in the incorrect spot" and so I just said "Well I guess I wont get the shirt seeing it was on the clearance rack" so you wont give it too me since I found it there then after she said no then to have issues with the register to the point where I moved at least 5 other registers til finally saying "You know what, i'll come back later or just go somewhere else" she kept apologizing instead of asking for help. Not a bad Kohl's by any means. If you've been to one, you've been to them all. This one is much like all the others in town. We do find ourselves out here quite frequently so we shop here quite a bit. If you haven't been to a Kohl's, it's a great department store. Great products at (mostly) reasonable prices. The best thing about Kohl's is their sales. If you hit a sale just right and you're looking for the right thing, you can score an amazing deal here. There are housewares, shoes, clothes, accessories, jewlery, luggage and even some toys for the kiddos. We have no problem killing a good half hour just walking through the store sometimes. I love their clothes and their pajamas are to die for (I have a pajama problem, according to my husband). Some things can be on the pricey side, however, so it pays to shop around to make sure you are getting the best deal you can. Employees are mildly helpful. The only tip I would give is to NOT go here early on a Black Friday. We stopped by around 2am this last Black Friday (the store opened at 12am) and despite the lot not being extremely packed, the lines inside were prohibitive. Seriously, at the rate at which the line was moving (which was wrapped all around the store), we figured we would be there past 5am. Unacceptable. Heaven forbid they bring in extra registers and extra staff to help people check out. UGH. What a nightmare. We returned to the South Reno location later that day (around 11am) and the lines were considerably shorter. Just be careful if you're going "power hour" shopping! read more

I've alway really liked this store. They have great coupons and the deals are even better once you get a Kohl's charge. The majority of my family clothing items (pants, shirts, shoes, dress etc.,) come from Khol's. I am in LOVE with the home decor section and they have a great variety of household items as well. My last Kohl's shopping experience promted to me to write this review. After much research I went into Kohl's armed with a 20% off coupon and purchased a Keurig K450. Total out the door with the coupon was $189.00. Over the next 72 hours the Keurig was not performing like I had thought it should - it was spitting coffee rather than dripping coffee. To top it off I had received an email from Kohl's showing the sale they had coming up the next day - the Keurig I had just purchased was on sale for 20% off. I called Kohl's and spoke with Brittany. I told her that I'm not sure I am loving my Keurig and would like to bring it back and get another one - I also explained to her that now they are on sale and I had a 20% off coupon when I purchased the first one. She told me to just pack up the old one and come on it and they will return it and re-charge it so I can have the sale price. I called back about 30 minutes later and spoke with her again explaining that I had a 20% off coupon also that I had used with the orginal purchase. She told me no problem and that they would still honor my original 20% off. She was very nice and never once got annoyed with my questions. I was a tad skeptical this would all work out the way she had said. I have never returned to Kohl's before so I wasnt aware of the return policy. I went to Kohl's and looked for a replacement Keurig. They didn't have my model in the color I wanted. They had one model down and one model up. I took both of the Keurigs (and my old one) to customer service and found Brittany. She remembered my calls and was very nice. I explained that they didn't have my color in the model I originally bought and asked her what we can do. She offered to give me the K550 (model up) at the K450 sale price and (like she said) still used my original 20% off coupon. I left happier than I was the first time. My awesome new Keurig only cost me $118.00 instead of the original $181.00 and I received wonderful customer service to boot! Brittany is a WONDERFUL asset to that store. Thanks!!! read more

I have to say I LOVE Kohl's. Every time I walk into the store in Sparks, no matter what, I'm greeted with welcome to Kohl's no matter how busy they are. Normally if an employee sees me they will ask if I need help. I can find most things I'm looking for. I did go once to find a bday present for a 5 yr old and they didn't have a great selection. There bathrooms are always clean, and they also have a family bathroom which is nice with kids. Trying to fit into a tiny stall is sometimes challenging . I think the coupons and Kohl's cash is a great thing, I don't think I've ever walked out of there not saving over $100 dollars read more

I was out at another clothing store on Los Altos and noticed Kohl's across the way and decided to turn in. I was looking for jeans. I'd found just one pair at the boutique and had heard Kohl's had a lot of jeans. There were very few customers in the parking lot or in the store. I walked in and stopped to get a look at where they might be. First of all, there were no signs high enough to point me in the right direction. There were 3 employees within speaking distance of me. Every one of them avoided eye contact. I was there to spend some money. I need some jeans and have tried on way to many to have not found more than one pair. All of them have the stupid wrinkles at the crotch which make it look as though whoever is wearing them slept in them, got them wet and slept in them again then wore them outside. I might not like some fashion, but I understand it. That I do not get. For any age. Anyway, as I wondered around, looking and looking, with more workers at every place I went not ONE asked me if I wanted some help. I thought, wrongly it seems, that the employees who were too busy hanging clothes to help me did that so someone like me would SPEND THEIR MONEY on the clothing they were hanging up. I had a few hundred dollars to spend. If I would've found 3 pair that looked cute and fit right, I would have bought them all. I never so much as found my size it was so messy. So, after about 45 minutes of uselessly searching I thought I would get my husband the belt he needs since he lost weight. So, over to the men's dept. Same deal there. Not one person even looked at me. I saw 4 customers in there the entire hour I looked for something to BUY. I couldn't find the size belt either, so I spent zero pennies there. I would give this place zero stars if I could .I went there today to grab my daughter some clothes we got what we were looking for place was a bit unorganized but we didn't care looking it's a retail store so it is to be expected. We went down to the cash register and were ready to pay they had a promo going for every 50 you spend you get a 10$ coupon our total came out to 99.01 and the lady fail to mention that it wouldn't work because we need it to spend and extra dollar when I asked her to put an extra item she told me she couldn't do it and I would need to go to a different cash register because she need it to take care of another customer when we got there first . She never gave me my receipt and wanted me to pay for everything again but I check my credit card and it said I had already been charged when I told her about it she didn't know what to say or do really unprofessional and not trained well enough to do a simple task as being a cashier at the end of the sale I didn't get my receipt and didn't get any of the coupons that I was suppose to get I got really upset and walked away because the staff obviously didn't know what they were doing I wouldn't recommend this place they can't even complete a simple job , I wish them luck in life with the little intelligence they have . read more

I LOVE Kohls and spend a lot of money here. I love the coupons that I get emailed to me and always save a ton of money. I buy stuff for the house, my friend's kids, my son and everyone else but me. That is the reason for only four stars. I do not like the style of clothes that they have for me. Bums me out. Every once and a while I will find something but for the most part their stuff seems a little old-lady'ish for me. Love the bedding there.
