Kohl's. "Expect great things." I got to say I was pretty impressed with the way this store is laid out from the first floor to the second and all the departments. I think I've been to this location like 10+ years ago, and don't remember it being this put together, but needed to stop in for a pick up order which gave me time to stroll and take it all in. The people I encountered were friendly, both customers and employees. This Kohl's is also a +Sephora, which I personally hadn't seen in person. The Sephora is a boutique style size compared to full on locations you may find in malls or plaza's where they are stand alones. I wasn't sure where the pick up area was so ventured about through men's, home goods, bedding, electronics and even up to the customer service area which is also where you can do amazon drop-offs/returns. Downstairs by the registers is where the pick-up area is, huge sign I totally missed because I didn't think to look left when I entered. The pick up area is self pick up and all you need is your pickup pass which tells you where to find your order. I found 104 in an instant, confirmed my name on the bag and what I ordered inside. Easy peasy! I shopped around for those last minute items you often find on your way out, but didn't see anything crying out immediately but definitely noted some things I'll apply my Kohl's cash to my next trip in. While I do like the other locations in LA this one was fairly easy and not too busy. Plenty of people on the floor and register. And so much parking in a huge shared Canyon Plaza lot of Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California off Laurel Canyon Blvd/Roscoe Blvd. Kohl's, "When Life Gets Real, Start Here!"

My wife and I stopped by Kohl's yesterday since we were in the plaza this store is at to get boba. She wanted to see what they have in here since I mostly come to return my Amazon order for a while now. The Amazon return used to be on the first floor when they first started doing it but now it's on the second floor, they probably want people to shop around the store more. This Kohl's store has a Sephora inside as well on the first floor right when you enter. This store has a lot to order ranging from clothing to household products to greeting cards and etc. It's always best to shop around for the best ideal so don't feel the need to just buy certain items here. If you return an Amazon order here then you'll get some coupon to save on some purchases. There employees throughout the store and they are ready to help you if needed. The parking lot is spacious so you'll find a spot.

    Leaving the store now

This location is great for many reasons, but I remain loyal simply because I can purchase items online and show up when ready for pick up. They have made it easier to pick up your own item without having to wait in line. (Depends on the items too) you receive a a code and open it when ready to get your item. I also make my Amazon returns here and it's such a breeze. All in one definitely makes my shopping experience a positive one for sure.

Proof of the time location and date when I received this treatment.

Really disappointed with the experience at this Sephora location. I was clearly in line with one item when another customer was allowed to cut in front of me. The excuse? "They're with Kohl's." I've shopped at multiple Sephora locations and have never seen or received any kind of front-of-the-line treatment so I'm not sure if this was special treatment or just poor judgment. When I brought it up, the Leader on Duty admitted it was wrong, but honestly, that's not enough. Sephora staff should be properly trained on fairness and customer service. This situation was frustrating and unacceptable. Not to mention I was on hold for 5 min s and hung up on. Get real Sephora customer trained employees.

    Inside as you wander around.

1 minute update: We live in a country where we have so many choices, when it comes down to what we need, often times it's difficult to figure where to go, etc. Many fine department stores may be found near you. Those living in Venture County have many great department stores to choose from at the Pacific View Mall, to mention a site. I recommend KOHLS. If one is near you, go check them out. Why, you ask?! Well I'll tell ya. One main reason is VALUE. You can spend more of your money, if you a mind to, at pricy department stores. But why, if you can get similar products for less. Not to say KOHLS is cheap. But it is a competitive business. Besides, KOHLS STAFF is generally friendly, considerate, and service minded. Have you seen my KOHLS photos? If not, check them out. Thanks.

Scammers outside of this kohls selling "fundraiser cards"
    Bryan M.

If you go to this kohls, beware of the people soliciting outside of it trying to get you to purchase their "fundraiser coupon book" for their "school charity" or whatever. It's a total scam and the coupons don't work. The kid outside will ask you to pay $20 to $25 for this sheet of coupon books that don't even work. You think you're helping some kid out, but you're just losing your own money. I've reported this to the managers inside Kohl's but they said since these people are outside of the property, they can't do anything about it. Just search for SmartRaisers and you'll see that this is a common scam happening everywhere. Really wish the Kohl's management could tell these people to not solicit outside of their store. This kid in the photos had the audacity to tell me I was crazy and was cussing me out. But I know this scam to well cause I was a victim a few months ago. Be smart & don't "donate" your money to these scammers.

This Kohl's is a short drive from my house and you will find me here from time to time shopping for clothes or make up at Sephora. They opened Sephora a few months ago and it's the best thing ever. Kind of dangerous to spend so much money but very convenient... this store is always clean and organized. The team does a pretty good job with it, friendly employees always ready to help. Also Amazon returns are painless here. So easy and convenient. The parking lot is big so never a problem with finding parking.

    Lots of brand name clothes

Busy location in a large shopping center. The customer service is very very slow and lacking. I felt like the women behind the customer service desk had no interest in actually helping. They were all eating hot cheetos and on Facebook on their phones in front of me. One lady was on FaceTime with some children. I've worked in customer service so I understand it's draining and not enough pay but I was a little taken aback. Besides that they have decent clothing, a nice sephora makeup and skincare area downstairs and a large selection of kitchen appliances and clothes.

    Baby clothing. Well organized.

Came home Thursday night and Googled "last minute suits Los Angeles" and came across several Reddit threads recommending Al Weiss Men's Clothing. Made it over to them at 10:30 am Friday morning and a gentleman named Eduardo quickly assisted me and helped me find a great suit in the exact color I'd been looking for (deep forrest green) immediately. The price was incredibly fair and Eduardo pointed me to Silver's Tailor Shop across the street to have my new suit quickly fitted to me. By 11:15 am I was headed home, at 11 am the next day I picked up my new suit from Silver's and it fit perfectly. At 4 pm yesterday I arrived at the wedding feeling very good about my purchase, and the new suit got me compliments throughout the entire event. Been spreading the good word about these guys for the last 48 hours and will definitely be back to them for future suit needs; hopefully on a less aggressive timeline.

I'm proud to report that GeekyGlamorous has something for every geek and gamer in your life! The beautiful blue corner store stood out on this specific stretch of shops on Burbank Blvd. I was there for one of their Christmas deals: a mug, pair of socks, and candy gift set all wrapped up with a gift tag for $25! Such a great value, I bought way more than one. Inside you are greeted by toys, clothes, trinkets, tchotchkes, knicknacks, baubles, stickers, and doodads themed from your favorite anime, comics, and video games. Even GeekyGlamorous-branded pins, stickers, necklaces, and bracelets. There's also blind box figures, posters, calendars... Some items are pre-owned, most are new from reputable vendors like BioWorld who specialize in licensed merch. Although this is not the biggest space, but the layout is really well-thought out and makes the store feel large. Mrs. GeekyGlamorous, the store owner, was there when I visited. She is a saint to entertain all of my annoying questions and is super friendly and personable. At no point did I feel pressured or like I was being sold something. I dug her aesthetic choices like the table comprised of Super Famicon game cartridges. Fun Fact: Super Famicon cartridges are cheaper than SNES cartridges... or the table where the POS system is has loads of memorabilia and ephemera under the glass. There will be rotating pop-up shops monthly-- right now for instance in December '24 there's a setup from Dispel Dice. There will also be community events like game nights held at the shop, too. I'm stoked for this new store, it's like an indie Expo or Comic Con!
